"Are you leaving?"
At Danzō's residence, Renya looked at the two figures before him—one big, one small—and asked in surprise.
He hadn't expected Sasuke and Boruto to leave this time-space so soon.
"Urashiki is already dead, so there's no need for us to stay here any longer."
Uchiha Sasuke said calmly.
In truth, his purpose for coming to this time-space had been to seek revenge on Renya for what happened back then.
But given the current situation, it seemed there was no chance anymore.
Renya had taken quite good care of him here—he couldn't very well turn around and seek revenge now, could he?
The Sasuke from over ten years ago might have acted recklessly without caring.
But the middle-aged Sasuke could not bring himself to do such a thing…
"You're not planning to visit the Uchiha clan?"
In Sasuke's time-space, the Uchiha clan had already been wiped out. Renya felt that he should at least stay there for a couple of days.
Uchiha Sasuke's expression shifted slightly, but in the end, he shook his head.
"No need."
He had already secretly met his father and grandfather.
Who would have thought that a randomly encountered Uchiha who had traveled through time would actually be his grandfather—someone he had never met before?
"Go to Rōran and find the queen. Just mention my name, and you'll be able to use the power of the Dragon Vein."
Seeing this, Renya said no more and simply gave them his instructions.
"Got it, Renya-san."
Boruto nodded seriously.
Following Sasuke-san to this time-space, although he hadn't met his dad, he had seen his young grandfather and grandmother.
It wasn't a wasted trip after all.
Most importantly, Ōtsutsuki Urashiki had been dealt with.
"Farewell."
Uchiha Sasuke said, then left the Shimura compound with Boruto.
They had stayed here long enough—it was time to leave.
After all, Naruto was still waiting for them there…
Renya and Danzō stood at the entrance, watching them disappear into the distance.
"It seems I shouldn't casually travel through time and stir up trouble anymore."
Renya said with a hint of melancholy.
The Five Kage Summit, the Warring States period, the First Shinobi War, the Fourth Great Ninja War…
Before he knew it, he had already traveled through time several times.
If people from other time-spaces also came looking for trouble like Sasuke did, that would truly be a problem!
Just one Sasuke was already enough of a headache—let alone others.
Especially that Senju Tobirama from the Warring States period. With that old man's scheming personality…
There's a good chance he's already researching how to find him.
Hopefully that guy doesn't succeed…
Otherwise, he might end up getting double-teamed.
And if the Tobirama from the Warring States era learns about their identities, he definitely won't hold back—he'd beat him half to death at the very least!
Two versions from different time-spaces sharing memories… it's just too absurd.
Even now, he still didn't know the exact reason…
He could only chalk it up to the two instances of time travel causing some kind of temporal disorder.
With his level of knowledge, that was the best explanation he could come up with. For anything more complex, he'd have to ask Orochimaru.
Shimura Danzō: "…"
This guy says this every time, yet he's never actually changed.
Otherwise, they wouldn't have ended up being hung from a tree and beaten by Tobirama-sensei.
He never learns—he'll definitely mess around again if he travels through time in the future.
You could say he never learns from his mistakes.
No matter what Renya does, he himself had completely straightened out.
Even if his good friend lured him into going to other time-spaces in the future, as long as he didn't show himself, there would be no danger.
That was experience earned from being beaten twice!
At the entrance of Konoha.
Just as Uchiha Sasuke and Boruto were about to leave, they noticed two gazes fixed on them.
Turning around, they were immediately stunned.
The ones who came were none other than Uchiha Retsufū and Uchiha Fugaku!
"You're leaving? Why didn't you inform me?"
Uchiha Retsufū said with a smile.
From the bits and pieces Renya had mentioned, he had already guessed Sasuke's identity.
He was certain the boy wasn't his own child—so he could only be Fugaku's son.
In other words… his future grandson.
No wonder he had felt a special bloodline connection when they first met.
That wasn't just the connection of sharing the same clan…
"I'm not used to farewell scenes."
Uchiha Sasuke said calmly. "So I didn't inform you."
Both sides knew each other's identities, yet neither intended to state it outright—it was a mutual understanding.
"Thank you for saving me that day."
From Boruto, Uchiha Sasuke had learned that when he fell into the river and lost consciousness, it was Fugaku who had saved him.
It could only be said—everything was destined!
The time-traveling clansman he met turned out to be his grandfather, and the one who saved his life was his father!
As he spoke, he bowed deeply to Fugaku, and suddenly felt his nose sting with emotion.
If his own time-space had been like this one, the tragic experiences of his youth wouldn't have happened.
He hoped that the version of himself in this time-space could live a happy life.
Not like him—living burdened with pain and hatred since childhood!
"You're welcome."
Uchiha Fugaku gave a slight nod, his tone softer.
Whether it was because his father had returned, or because of this unfamiliar clansman before him, he no longer seemed as cold as before.
Saving Sasuke had just been a small effort.
They were all Uchiha—it was impossible to just stand by and watch someone die.
"If fate allows, we'll meet again!"
Uchiha Sasuke smiled at the two of them, then turned and walked out of Konoha's gates.
"See you!"
Boruto waved at them, then quickly followed after Sasuke.
Under the setting sun, the two figures—one big, one small—gradually disappeared beyond the horizon.
"Fugaku, have you met a girl you like?"
Uchiha Retsufū suddenly asked out of the blue.
"Father!"
Uchiha Fugaku hadn't expected such a question and was momentarily at a loss for words.
Seeing his son's evasive gaze, Uchiha Retsufū just smiled and said nothing.
It seems that in the near future, we'll meet again.
"Alright, let's head back."
Retsufū smiled and patted Fugaku on the shoulder, and the father and son returned together.
Uchiha Sasuke and Boruto arrived at Rōran, and with the help of the queen, were successfully transported to another time-space.
However, they didn't notice that Black Zetsu had followed them as well.
Being captured by Urashiki had already been unlucky enough for Black Zetsu.
After finally getting the "cook" to deal with Urashiki, it discovered that its pawn, Uchiha Retsufū, had quit!
A pawn running away on its own—truly a first.
When Black Zetsu learned the truth, it almost coughed up blood in anger.
After spending so much effort manipulating this pawn, it just quit like that.
So what had all these years been for—wasted time?
Even though Uchiha Retsufū had run off, the plan to revive his mother still had to continue.
So he could only set off alone into other time-spaces, searching for one where his mother had not been sealed.
...
Shimura compound.
"Oh no!"
Renya was basking in the sun when he suddenly thought of something.
"I forgot to tell them—the Dragon Vein's time travel is completely random!"
Sometimes it takes five or six attempts just to return to the original time-space…
Sasuke and Boruto… they should know that, right?
...
A certain time-space.
Late at night, the Uchiha clan district.
Sasuke and Boruto stared in silence at Uchiha Itachi, who was crouching on a utility pole wearing ANBU attire.
