Wu Chang sniffed the air, his brow slightly furrowed, as he detected a faint scent of blood.
Listening carefully, he heard noises and shouting coming from a distant district.
Before he could speak, the coachman took the initiative to say, "Sir, I apologize, the road ahead is blocked, I need to change the route, taking a slightly longer path."
Wu Chang curiously asked, "What happened up ahead?"
The coachman replied, "It's just a regular worker protest, but they chose the wrong timing, running straight into the line of fire."
Wu Chang followed up with, "A worker protest, for what reason?"
The coachman sighed and answered:
"What else could it be, the usual demands, higher wages, better working conditions, and calls for universal suffrage."
Wu Chang said, "I get the sense from what you said that the protest will turn violent."
