Chapter 82 - ep:76"The Lie That Sounds Like Car"

Seungmin quickly stood up and looked at Han. His eyes softened a little as he asked, "Do you have something on your mind? You keep looking down."

Han hesitated for a second, then slowly raised his eyes. "Seungmin… you were the one who saved me that day, right? When I went to the Incheon Hotel for the business meeting."

For a moment, Seungmin froze. His expression changed slightly, but then he looked away and replied calmly, "No, I didn't. It was Jisoo. He saved you."

Han stared at him, confused. A small, uneasy smile formed on his lips. "No, don't lie. I know it was you."

But Seungmin repeated, firmer this time, "It was Jisoo. He was your friend. When you didn't reply to his calls, he felt something was wrong. You'd told him the hotel name, so he went there and helped you."

Han still didn't look convinced. He looked straight into Seungmin's eyes and said quietly, "You think I'm a fool? Jisoo can't enter that hotel. It's private property. Only you can do that. Even entering that floor is almost impossible unless you're someone influential."

Seungmin sighed, rubbing his temples slightly. "Okay, you're right. I helped him… a little. Like, I helped him get inside the hotel. But it was him who saved you."

Han frowned. "Then why was I at your house when I woke up?"

Seungmin looked down for a moment, his tone calm but detached. "You wanted to go to Jisoo's house. But do you even know how small his house is? That's why he brought you to mine."

Han fell silent. He wanted to ask more — to ask why Seungmin had asked him to be his boyfriend after that night, why he had kept him in his house for a whole week and refused to let him leave. But before he could say anything, a nurse came in and said the doctor was calling for him.

As Seungmin left, Han sat back quietly. His thoughts were spinning. He could still remember what he saw in his dream — or maybe it wasn't a dream at all. When he had briefly regained consciousness that night, he'd seen Seungmin brutally beating that businessman. He had seen Jisoo trying to pull him back. It couldn't have been just a dream. He remembered it too clearly. He's lying to me, Han thought. I don't know what his problem is. I'm so sick and tired of this.

Soon after, Seungmin returned to the room. His voice was calm, almost too gentle. "Let's go home. I'll take care of you."

Han looked at him, knowing exactly which "home" he meant. "No," he said firmly. "I want to go to my home. Not yours."

"Han," Seungmin sighed, "there's no one to take care of you there. Just come with me."

"I said no," Han replied sharply. "I can take care of myself."

There was a moment of silence. Then Seungmin simply nodded. "Alright. Then I'll drop you at your home."

Han got off the bed, still annoyed. When he lost balance slightly, Seungmin instinctively reached out to help him — but Han pulled his arm back. "I'm fine," he said coldly. "I can walk."

The ride home was quiet, tense, almost suffocating. When they arrived, Seungmin placed a bag of medicines on the table and said, "I told you to come with me. How will you live here alone?"
