They saw the Smiling Knight's body in a highly mutated state, twisted vines piercing through his skin, his entire body covered in wings that perfectly accentuated his muscular lines, his knees bent at a sharp angle, taking a shape somewhere between a bird and a feline, with massive black wings stretching along his back.
As the wings spread open, three slender arms slowly traced semicircles behind the man, scales, codex, and hammer appearing in sequence. A bright halo emerged above the Smiling Knight's head, three eyes simultaneously bulging out of his face, round and rotating, pressing against each other and swelling, emitting a warm glow from his entire body.
A hexagonal colorless crystal stone replaced his heart, and vein-like patterns densely covered his chest and spread across his entire body like crawling insects.
