When the temperature of the iron block dropped, Lynn placed it back into the forge for reheating.
Once it was heated to a forgeable temperature, it was hammered again.
This was repeated continuously, over and over.
Until several hours later.
A spearhead with wings appeared on the anvil.
Lynn put down the hammer in his right hand and immersed the winged spearhead in the water tank beside him.

A burst of water vapor immediately rose.
When Lynn picked up the cooled winged spearhead.
