Looking ahead, the young Lord reclined against the back of the armchair.
Joao's heart sank slightly. He suppressed his tone and asked, "Lord Lynn, what do you mean by this?"
"Are you going to violate the agreement we made with Lady Janet?"
Lynn raised an eyebrow, looking at Joao Frank in surprise.
"Lord Joao, I wonder if there is some misunderstanding here?"
Joao snorted, "As long as you, Lord Lynn, dispatch troops to Frank Manor promptly, there naturally won't be any misunderstanding."
Lynn immediately spoke, "No, Lord Joao."
"What I mean is, is there anything that has made you misunderstand?"
Upon hearing this, Joao's brows furrowed instantly.
Lynn rose from the armchair, his gaze slightly lifted to meet Joao's.
"It was your manor lord, Lady Janet, who sent letters through the Boer Merchant, and only then did I reluctantly agree to Janet and you to come to my domain."
"It was Janet who requested with promised rewards, asking for my military aid."
