The voice wasn't loud, yet it clearly reached the ears of everyone near the dining table.
Lynn and Kuisi, along with a few others, looked over simultaneously.
Kari's face instantly flushed with a hint of red.
She was about to say something.
Standing beside her, Kuisi stepped forward and began pouring wine for Lynn and Kari.
As she poured the wine, Kuisi spoke.
"Master Lynn, today the fishermen caught this twelve-pound carp."
"Since Miss Kari came by, she went ahead and cooked it."
"I'm just not sure if it suits Miss Kari's taste..."
Sitting on the wooden chair, Kari heard this and immediately cast Kuisi a grateful look.
Kuisi responded with a slight smile.
With Kuisi and Janet, along with several maids attending to them, Lynn and Kari enjoyed their dinner.
Despite Kari's best efforts to hold back, judging by her eating speed, she was indeed very hungry.
A dozen or so minutes later.
After finishing dinner, Lynn and Kari moved to the open-air balcony on the second floor.
