Brick's brows furrowed, his face full of hesitation.

"Does Manor Lord Brick perchance have another plan?"
Alex likewise turned his gaze towards Brick.
Feeling their gazes, Brick's heart tightened slightly.
He hesitated a bit and said, "Ladies and gentlemen, what if that Lord Lynn, like Zock, wants to take everything we have?"
"What should we do?"
Helena spoke without any hesitation.
"Even if Lord Lynn wishes to take everything we have, what can we do?"
"After we refused Zock's request for military aid, Connelly Manor was wiped out."
"We no longer have any choice."
"And even now, I, Helena, have never regretted rejecting Zock's request for military aid."
