A sharp pain hit him, and Chu Nan slowly opened his eyes, glancing around to take in the dusty rafters overhead.
Realizing he was no longer in the cave he fainted in, Chu Nan suddenly sat up.
"Don't move so abruptly, your wounds aren't healed yet. Be careful not to reopen them."
Suddenly, a chiding voice rang out, and Chu Nan turned his head to see an elder in a gray robe sitting beside him.
This elder, with white hair and a beard, had a face full of wrinkles, but his eyes were bright and lively like those of a young man.
He was evidently not an ordinary elder, likely a martial artist.
"Where is this, and why am I here?" Chu Nan frowned, confused, and asked.
The elder stroked his beard and smiled, "This is Feng Family Manor. Five days ago, I went up the mountain to gather herbs and found you in a cave."
"Seeing you covered in wounds, with your organs exposed, I thought you were beyond saving."
