Bang!
Doflamingo's sunglasses shattered on impact.
Shards flew through the air as a tidal wave of Conqueror's Haki surged toward him.
The overwhelming pressure sent his flamingo-feathered coat flapping wildly in the wind.
As the tangible force filled his vision, Doflamingo roared in shame and fury:
"Spider's Web!"
BOOM!
Countless white threads shot out, colliding with the oncoming Haki.
The clash echoed like the drums of the gods, shaking the skies.
Explosive shockwaves rolled outward like hurricanes.
Waves surged and crashed down on Doflamingo's ship.
CRASH!
Seawater poured like a monsoon, drenching the entire harbor.
The icy deluge jolted many unconscious Marines back to their senses.
They watched in stunned silence as Doflamingo's ship, battered by the waves, slammed into the dock and cracked apart.
It was the textbook definition of "the more arrogant the entrance, the more tragic the fall."
Even Vice Admiral Tsuru, who had stepped back, paused in surprise.
Her aide reached for the alarm, but Tsuru raised a weary hand to stop him.
"No need. Inform Fleet Admiral Sengoku—Admiral Luo Yu has returned."
"Only that guy could weaponize Conqueror's Haki like a shockwave. Doflamingo really overplayed his hand this time."
"Though… figuring out how to clean this up is going to be a headache."
She rubbed her temples, but as she watched the pirate ship—now broken, mast snapped, hull splintered—she allowed herself a rare smile.
"Still, maybe it's for the best. Someone needed to humble that arrogant Heavenly Yaksha. He was starting to think being a Warlord meant he could ignore Marine HQ."
"Vice Admiral Tsuru, I never thought I'd hear you say something so… chaotic," Rear Admiral Kibin stammered, still trembling from the shock.
"But this is a Warlord of the Sea—and a king of a World Government nation. Cleaning this up won't be easy."
"Difficult?" Tsuru chuckled dryly, glancing at the warship cutting through the waves toward them.
"Doflamingo is difficult, yes. But I've never seen Admiral Luo Yu fail to find a 'reasonable' excuse when it comes to collecting his bonus."
"This time, I think Doflamingo's the one who's going to take a loss."
Kibin was speechless.
As Chief of Staff, Tsuru had clearly already planned her response.
But now she was just letting it all play out.
Then again, given the rumors swirling around Marine HQ about Admiral Luo Yu—especially his obsession with money, to the point even Sengoku found him exhausting—perhaps this was inevitable.
If it involved bonuses, salaries, or performance pay…
Even a hundred people couldn't outmaneuver Admiral Glutton Luo Yu.
CRASH!
The shattered pirate ship rocked violently as it slammed back into the sea.
On deck, the Donquixote Family members struggled to stay upright.
They turned to their young master—his sunglasses broken, his flamboyant coat shredded.
The man who always wore a smug grin and strutted like he owned the world…
…now looked utterly wrecked.
The sight left his crew frozen in disbelief.
Feeling their stares, Doflamingo's face twisted. Veins bulged on his forehead as he roared:
"You damn Marine Admiral! A mere rookie dares to attack a Warlord of the Sea so brazenly? Are you trying to defy the World Government's laws?"
"Laws?"
Luo Yu descended from the sky, taking a swig of cheap liquor.
"I thought Kaido was here to deliver a bounty. Turns out it's just a Warlord causing trouble. No wonder that Haki felt so weak."
"Oh right—you're that guy… what was it? Baldmingo? You've lost all your feathers. Next time you visit Marine HQ, try to dress properly. If I mistake you for a threat and have to act, I'll have to charge extra."
Weak Haki?
Baldmingo?
Trebol and the others were stunned.
But looking at the once-luxurious flamingo coat, now reduced to a few sad feathers…
The nickname wasn't wrong.
And compared to Luo Yu's overwhelming Conqueror's Haki, Doflamingo's earlier display really did seem… underwhelming.
The atmosphere on deck grew heavy.
Doflamingo's veins bulged again.
He crushed the ship's railing in his grip and snarled:
"Fine. Fine! Now I have to pay you to attack me? You really are the most arrogant rookie I've ever seen."
"You have no idea how terrifying the Four Emperors are. Even one of Kaido's Calamities could crush you!"
"As for why we were chosen as Warlords—I'll show you firsthand what makes us so fearsome!"
CRACK!
The railing snapped in his hand as his fury exploded.
But before he could strike, Luo Yu's calm voice cut in again:
"Warlords? I've got one on my ship right now. Not sure what he's worth in bounty, though."
"As for the Calamities—got one of those too. Hopefully worth twenty or thirty million. Otherwise, I really wasted my energy."
As his words fell, the distant warship finally dropped anchor at the harbor.
Everyone's eyes turned instinctively toward it.
Trebol sniffled and tried to salvage Doflamingo's pride:
"Young Master, don't worry. There's no way a Warlord and a Calamity would be on the same ship. That's just—"
"No… Young Master, I think I'm seeing things… but they're both tied up!"
Doflamingo's heart clenched. His pupils shrank to pinpricks.
As a Warlord and underworld king, he'd long known who was replacing Crocodile.
He'd thought Blackbeard—who dared stab Whitebeard in the back—was a ruthless upstart worth aligning with.
But now, seeing this "new Warlord" wrapped in layers of bandages like a mummy…
Was this really how a criminal mastermind made his debut?
