Jack spend the rest of the day walking around his territory, often accompanied by Nisha or Xena as they took turns watching baby Janus at the mansion.
Gondo had fully maximized the gold resource output. Creating the second team above the first.
1.200.000 gold coins every single morning.
The 5 square kilometres dwarf habitat with 20 meters to the top, had long been finished.
A new and large main tunnel was made directly to the center of Black Mountain.
There they had made an equal size habitat, yet currently with no one living there. Many new tunnels sprung from that place.
The dwarfs loved to tunnel and to find new natural resources in the Mountain.
It was in these tunnels they had found veins of iron, copper and silver.
3 mines had been constructed to extract these resources, as it was impossible to tell just how long or deep the metal veins went.
They just lacked manpower to really increase the income.
Jacks mansion was located to the right of the entrance to the first habitat, and the new main entrance began in the other end.
Just about 50 meters down that big main tunnel, other areas had been made in both sides, opposite eachother.
A vast forge-room, though currently with only two working forges.
In the room opposite this, was the blacksmithing area.
Here they had crafted essential items like wheel-frames of iron, nails, hammers, saws... Everything needed in daily life was made.
But besides this, Jack found a second room.
One that Fraco had ordered made and stocked early on.
He had foreseen that his lord would eventually need a huge stockpile of ironbound shields, spears, swords and axes.
The armory was piled up with ready weapons and shields.
It made Jack hate Sha'ri even more than ever, that she had taken Fraco from him.
On the area above the black mountain entrance, many new houses had been manually build.
The civilians had build these as presents for the new families with babies.
Many of the civilians had found a partner and new pregnant women could be seen.
The plateau itself now had one single, but large building.
Here hundreds of people gathered all the time.
It was the storage house.
Meat, vegetables, water and everything edible was bought and sold here.
The civilians had their own economy and cooked at their homes.
It was the same inside the mountain and every house in Jacks village.
They even have many areas where they butchered the dimwags, weaved cloths from cotton flowers or made warms skins from beasts, hides, leather...
Everything they could produce, they did in homes or work areas like tanneries and the like.
As Jack went to the old road, down the plateau, he changed it to the 'new' road.
With his ability and higher spirit power, he easily combined his earth control with his water control.
Something resembling concrete or asphalt appeared and replaced the ten meter wide road down.
When he reached the inner area of the 6 meter high stone wall, he noticed more lumber work areas.
Next to the garrison, he saw a new kitchen house and a 'sparring' zone where the troops practised against each other.
But he didn't stop his work here.
He continued the 10 meter wide and strong road all the way to the gate.
He went trough it and saw the forest extremely decreased.
They truly had collected a lot of wood from this place.
A large area of barren land of grass and holes where the tree roots had been removed.
To his left, the forest had been cleared for many kilometres.
He continued the road to the wooden castle in the middle of the forest.
Inside the castle were filled with many more lumbermen and troops.
He continued the road just next to the castle and continued all the way to the edge of the forest.
The civilians had stopped cutting the trees here. Probably for camouflage.
Jack decided to turn around. This much would have to do for now.
He now had a 10 meter wide and great road from the edge of the forest, to the top of the plateau.
He ran back.
With almost 200 in his fortitude stats, he moved so fast on the new road that he appeared at the plateau just 15 minutes later.
He instantly became the hot topic again.
That he had restored since he was first brought back, was an understatement.
Jack didn't mind them, he understood that he had changed and he had a lot of work to do.

This meant that every day, for the next 116 days, Jack would have a little more than 8500 new trash troops.
He already planned to make barracks for them. To store them for his vengeance.
Jack knew he still had around two hundred and fifteen million gold coins. So he didn't even bother to check his resources.

However many resources Jack had, he knew he still needed time. He only had a few summoning portals.
So he was satisfied for now. In a little more than a day, he would have 20.000 new civilians.
At night, Nisha and Jack lay together.
But Nisha quickly understood that Jack was far from ready for intimacy.
Every attempt she made to touch him, made him flinch and withdraw.
He refused to talk about it and Nisha had left him alone.
She could see in his eyes that he still wanted her, but something inside had been broken.
'Just what happened to you out there?' Nisha would ask herself this question countless times, over the next many months.
The next day, Jack took 10.000 troops with him and left everyone else behind.
He went outside the forest edge and walked over the vast stretch of grassland to reach the small lake where he had first appeared.
He continued to walk around the 500 meter wide and long lake, and finally reached the 50 meter wide river that led to it.
Here, 1 kilometer down the river, he created yet again with his ability.
A ten meter wide bridge of hardened stone now crossed the entire 50 meters of river.
On both sides he created a 2 square kilometres stone wall as the one beneath the plateau.
He now had two huge garrison areas on either side of the river, with a 10 meter wide bridge connection.
Next he created 50 garrisons inside the walls on both sides.
This was enough to store 500.000 troops on both sides of the river.
The troops would later get orders to march directly here, making a snake of marching troops day and night, with only 10 seconds between them.
It would be a strange thing for the civilians, but also a strong guarding deterrence for anyone, or anything watching them.
But he wasn't done yet.
Next he created the wall-towers with enough room for a siege item on top of them.
Every 100 meters around the walls he placed them. He only left the river sides without.
This meant that each 'garrison castle' now had 30 protective towers.
These wooden wall towers could be upgraded to stone and allow larger artillery, but Jack discarded that. These would suffice for now.
He split his 10.000 forces so either side had a protective force of 5000, that could easily assist each other by the bridge.
Next he created a boatyard on both sides, just by the bridge.
He found that the boatyard had the essentials to build small fishing boats and small boats for transportation, enough room for maximum 50 people.
He would have to ask Xena to check the new civilians, and allocate any and all with potential for boatbuilding, to this area.
Jack wanted to do much more, as his resources had barely made a dent.
But he had to accept that it would take time, before he had sufficient civilians and troops for his plans.
Back at the mansion, Xena was instantly on her new task. For the next night and day, she would check the new civilians for boatbuilding potential.
