Chapter 180 - Dynasty of the Fearless

The core technological components had been successfully replicated. What remained was to clad the Pluton with starship-grade alloy armor and link it in parallel with the shield generator.

This task did not require Roya's personal involvement. Vegapunk and Star Spirit were already working together with seamless proficiency.

With his hands freed, Roya dismantled the throne from the control chamber of the pyramid ship and relocated it to the main bridge of the Pluto.

This throne was not only the central control node of the entire vessel but also the communication device between Necron starships. It absolutely could not be left aboard the pyramid ship.

Otherwise, if other Necron ships were to trace its signal and arrive, there would be no place for Pirate Star to hide its tears.

Roya had to keep this device with him. Beyond using it to maintain communications with Pirate Star, it could also serve as bait.

Who knew—perhaps another Necron Overlord would take the hook.

Once the throne was fully integrated with the Pluton and the ship's soul successfully connected, Roya seated himself upon it.

By releasing only a wisp of spiritual awareness, he could establish a smooth link with the ship's soul. The process was effortless—far less taxing than a direct connection.

The entirety of the Pluton's status unfolded in detail before Roya's consciousness. Every function responded as though it were an extension of his own body—intuitively, instantly, without the slightest delay.

Roya was deeply satisfied.

The next step was to calibrate the throne's communication functions and fully reconfigure the Void Throne into a beacon.

In this way, no matter where in the cosmos Roya might travel, he could still monitor the situation on Pirate Star through the beacon. If necessary, he could even open a Warp Gate and jump back instantly.

Though activating a Warp Gate required an immense expenditure of energy, the pyramid ship's stores of life-essence fluid were more than sufficient for Roya to squander.

"As expected, interstellar navigation is also one of the throne's functions."

After fine-tuning the communications, Roya discovered that the throne had seemingly re-established a new connection, projecting before him a vast holographic display.

It was a scattering of countless luminous points. When magnified, each point was revealed to be a planet, annotated with simple symbols to mark their types.

Only a small portion of them were resource worlds like Pirate Star. The vast majority were barren planets of little value to the Necrons.

The cost of terraforming such barren worlds to sustain their artificial drone-races was far too high, so the Necrons had left them undeveloped.

There were also a handful of dead worlds—planets already drained to exhaustion by the Necrons, their planetary essence consumed, their star-cores long since extinguished.

As Roya gazed upon the star chart, something felt amiss.

After a moment of contemplation, clarity struck him.

"Information exchange within the Necron civilization is like a network of client computers and a central server. Why would such a star chart exist outside the main server?"

"Normally, wouldn't the Seventh Overlord have to query the main server to access a chart like this? But now that the Seventh Overlord is offline, how can this map still exist?"

"Unless… this star chart was stored directly inside this throne all along!"

Roya's interest was piqued.

The Seventh Overlord, supposedly bound to absolute loyalty and obedience to the Silent King, had secretly hidden away a star chart without uploading it to the King's primary consciousness.

That was… intriguing.

What was so special about the contents of this chart?

Roya zoomed in and out repeatedly, but made no real progress.

For one thing, this was his first time encountering such a cosmic navigation map. He needed time to absorb it.

For another, with no other star charts for reference, he could not even determine his own current position—staring at a single map was useless.

"Huh? This chart seems… much larger than I thought?"

After several zoom-outs, Roya realized its scale far exceeded his expectations. He kept shrinking it further.

If he could reduce it enough to recognize the Milky Way's location, perhaps he could orient himself.

Roya still retained a vague impression of what the Milky Way looked like.

But the smaller the chart grew, the stranger it became.

The more he looked, the more familiar it seemed.

"Wait a second… isn't this exactly what I saw in the Warp—the projections of the spirit entities?!"

Sudden realization struck. Roya broke free from the assumption that this was merely a star chart.

But that realization only left him even more shaken.

He had only just begun to scratch the surface of the Warp, still utterly ignorant of its deeper mysteries—and yet someone had already managed to translate the internal structure of the Warp into a holographic projection?

Who was the author of this map?

For what purpose had it been made?

Countless questions surged through Roya's mind.

His gaze unconsciously drifted to a crimson nebula.

Wasn't this the same Warp entity projection he had disturbed when destroying the Seventh Overlord?

Every Warp entity possessed a unique resonance of spirit-sense. Roya could not possibly mistake it.

"But if this is a Warp projection… why does zooming in reveal an entire galaxy?"

Puzzled, Roya focused on the crimson projection, enlarging and shrinking it repeatedly, seeking answers.

"Could it be that this Warp entity's current position is within this galaxy?"

"If that's true, shouldn't there be countless other Warp projections gathered there as well? Surely this entire galaxy can't be home to just one solitary being?"

The more he thought, the more tangled it became.

One thing, however, he was certain of: each Warp projection must correspond to a single living being and soul within the material universe.

Which made the overlap of a crimson Warp projection with an entire galaxy utterly illogical.

"Enough. Empty speculation is meaningless. Only by venturing deeper into the star-sea—while continuing to probe the Warp—can I hope to uncover the truth behind this holographic map!"

Roya lightly tapped the throne's armrest, retracting the projection.

One thing was certain: this holographic chart had not been created by the Fearless Dynasty.

"In the boundless cosmos, there must exist other advanced civilizations! This chart alone already surpasses the technological tier of the Fearless Dynasty."

"It's very likely the Seventh Overlord wasn't concealing its existence at all—he simply had no way to upload it into the Silent King's information vault!"

"The so-called might of the Feerless Dynasty across the universe… is merely this."

Roya's eyes gleamed ever brighter. He could no longer wait—he was ready to leave Pirate Star behind and set forth into the vast and endless expanse of the universe.
