Chapter 422 - Chapter 418: Angel vs Rakshasa - IV

BOOM—!

The explosion eclipsed everything.

A sphere of compressed darkness and divine flame erupted outward, swallowing space in a massive radius. The Dragon Realm shook violently as cracks spread across the sky like shattered glass.

Ancient dragon bones buried beneath the ground were unearthed and pulverized. Mountains collapsed. When the shockwave finally receded—

No area within sight remained intact.

Qian Renxue had already retreated beyond the epicenter, twelve wings shielding her from the aftermath.

As dust and debris swirled chaotically through the dim sky, she narrowed her eyes.

From within the smoke—

A shadow burst forward at terrifying speed. It closed the distance in less than a heartbeat.

Rakshasa's voice rang out, sharp and cutting:

"Divine Skill: Crisis Cut."

This was different.

The aura surrounding the scythe no longer resembled simple Corrosion or Wither. It was sharper and denser. It carried the oppressive sensation of impending disaster—as if the concept of "crisis" itself had been condensed into a blade.

The scythe tore downward.

Qian Renxue reacted instantly, raising the Mountain Dragon King Spear to intercept.

Clang—!

The collision rang out.

Then—

Crack.

A thin fracture appeared along the spear's shaft.

Crack. Crack.

More fissures spread rapidly like spiderwebs.

Qian Renxue's eyes flickered slightly in surprise.

Rakshasa's laughter rang out, ecstatic and sharp.

"Hehehehe—!"

Her eyes gleamed with manic delight as she pressed down harder.

The cracks along the Mountain Dragon King Spear widened, purple energy seeping from within the fractures.

Suddenly—Qian Renxue smiled.

"Did you enjoy all those malicious thoughts?"

The question was gentle.

For the first time since the battle began, Rakshasa felt something a chill

Before she could react, Qian Renxue released the spear.

The already fractured Mountain Dragon King Spear on the verge of breaking slipped from her grasp, tumbling downward toward the ruined Dragon Realm.

Rakshasa's eyes flashed with confusion.

'Why abandon her weapon now?'

Qian Renxue raised her hands, her fingers crossed lightly.

"Domain Expansion: Infinite void"

The words echoed clearly. Rakshasa's pupils contracted.

She instinctively braced for a violent attack.

But—nothing happened.

The battlefield remained the same.

Until Qian Renxue's lips curved slightly.

"Just kidding.... But the effect… isn't much different."

"Tell me, Rakshasa… how does it feel to experience the final thoughts of an entire race… compressed into 0.1 seconds?"

There was no dramatic explosion.

Rakshasa did not respond, because she couldn't.

Her body froze midair, because in that infinitesimal moment—

Countless scenes erupted within her consciousness.

From the fall of the Dragon Clan, to the despair of ancient Dragon Kings and the rage of warriors dying in unwilling annihilation.

All of it condensed and forced through her mind simultaneously.

As the Goddess of Dream and Memories, Qian Renxue had allowed Rakshasa to absorb malicious thoughts freely throughout the battle.

After understanding the process she delivered the concentrated memory of extinction.

Rakshasa's eyes, nose, mouth—even her ears—had blood pouring out.

Without wasting a single breath— Qian Renxue stepped forward.

"Nine Sun Style… Seventh Style: Sunset Farewell."

This time, the technique did not release as a distant slash.

The sword in her hand blazed with condensed radiance, light and flame compressed into its edge until the air around it warped violently.

In a single fluid motion—

She passed Rakshasa, as the blade traced a clean arc.

Then—Rakshasa Goddess's head separated from her body.

It fell slowly, divine blood trailing behind like fading starlight.

Her body remained suspended for an instant before collapsing toward the shattered ground below.

Qian Renxue hovered in the broken sky, watching the lifeless head descend.

There was no joy in her expression, only contemplation.

"My current strength…" she thought calmly.

"…should be close to a top-tier First-Class God in the God Realm."

Her eyes flickered slightly.

"Defeating Rakshasa required preparation. The bait was decisive."

She had barely relied on her Beyonder authority during the battle.

"If I incorporate my full Beyonder capabilities…"

Her gaze turned distant.

"My true combat power should at least stand at half-step God King."

She analyzed the battle silently.

"Battle hypnosis combined with my Third Divine Skill: Illusion…"

From the beginning, Rakshasa's perception had always been subtly adjusted.

Whoosh—!

Space rippled violently. In a sudden reversal, the Rakshasa Scythe tore through the void from behind Qian Renxue at terrifying speed.

Only a flash of violet—

And the curved blade pierced straight through Qian Renxue's chest. The impact resounded dully.

Rakshasa Goddess materialized behind her, one hand gripping the scythe as it impaled the Angel Goddess through the heart.

Rakshasa leaned closer, her lips near Qian Renxue's ear.

"While that attack truly pushed me to the brink of death…" she whispered, her voice thick with dark amusement, "my Divine Skill—Immortality—can refresh my body once a day."

Her eyes gleamed triumphantly.

"A complete restoration."

The blade twisted and dark energy surged through the wound, attempting to flood Qian Renxue's body with corrosive thought.

Rakshasa did not stop there, she immediately unleashed a mental assault.

Countless malicious thoughts condensed into sharp, spiraling spikes and pierced toward Qian Renxue's consciousness. Hatred, despair, rage—layer upon layer of psychic corruption followed the physical impalement.

She believed the Angel Goddess had been caught completely off guard.

"I am one of the top-tier First-Class Gods in the Divine Realm," Rakshasa sneered. "Did you truly believe you could defeat me?"

Her voice echoed with cruel delight.

"Wait until my dark thoughts completely incapacitate you… He… He…"

She tightened her grip—and froze. Then she realized the sensation felt wrong.

Rakshasa's pupils shrank.
