Chapter 359 - Chapter 10: Silent Seal

As he spoke, poison began gushing from Magellan's entire body.

A massive serpent-like dragon formed entirely from venom burst out from him with a savage roar, lunging straight toward Rosinante with jaws wide open.

"I've never relied on anyone else to make it this far," Rosinante said calmly as he raised one hand.

"Secret Art... Silent Seal."

The moment Rosinante extended his palm, a terrifying suction force erupted from it.

And then, in a scene that left everyone stunned—

The gigantic Poison Dragon charging toward him was pulled in completely.

Its enormous body, made entirely of deadly neurotoxin, was sucked straight into Rosinante's palm.

In the blink of an eye, the entire dragon vanished.

"How is that possible?!" Magellan's eyes widened in disbelief. "He absorbed my Poison Dragon?!"

The jailers were equally horrified.

"He actually absorbed the Warden's Poison Dragon?! That thing is made entirely of nerve toxin! How dare he?!"

"Since you know it's poison, don't go throwing it around carelessly," Rosinante said with a smile.

Then his eyes flashed.

"Here. You can have it back."

As soon as the words left his mouth—

The Poison Dragon that Rosinante had just absorbed suddenly burst out of his palm again.

And this time, it lunged toward Magellan and the jailers instead.

Magellan's expression changed drastically.

Without hesitation, he unleashed another Poison Dragon of his own, smashing it directly into the one Rosinante had returned.

The two venom dragons collided violently.

Poison splashed everywhere.

Every drop of venom that flew toward Rosinante was silently erased before it could even touch him.

Naturally, Magellan himself wasn't afraid of poison.

But the jailers behind him were another story.

The moment any of them were splashed with venom, they collapsed screaming in agony, writhing on the ground in unbearable pain.

"Get out of my combat range immediately!" Magellan barked, his expression turning grim. "This is no longer a battle you can interfere in!"

"Y-Yes, sir!"

The jailers who had avoided being splashed hurriedly grabbed the poisoned men and fled the scene as fast as they could.

Rosinante didn't spare them a second glance.

Instead, he looked at Magellan and smiled faintly.

"You're actually a pretty gentle commander. Honestly, I don't dislike Marines like you."

"I don't need praise from a criminal," Magellan replied coldly. "The best praise you can give me... is leaving your life here."

Rosinante laughed softly.

"A lot of people want my life."

"The Five Elders of your World Government."

"Commander-in-Chief Kong."

"Fleet Admiral Sengoku."

"And your three Admirals... Sakazuki especially."

A playful smile appeared on his face.

"That guy hates me so much his teeth probably still itch when he thinks about me."

"Too bad."

"I'm still alive and doing just fine."

Magellan's pupils contracted sharply.

Then, at last—

Something clicked.

"Rosinante..." he said slowly.

Then his voice changed.

"You're the Dragon King... Donquixote Rosinante."

He stared at him in genuine shock.

"I never thought... you were actually still alive."

"Someone who was officially declared dead... someone who disappeared for ten years... and now you're standing here, invading Impel Down."

Rosinante smiled.

"This world is just too interesting."

"I wasn't willing to leave it."

"So... I came back."

"If you really came back to life, then you should've just enjoyed the world quietly," Magellan said grimly. "Yet you actually dared to come to Impel Down to die."

For Magellan, it didn't matter whether this man was the Dragon King or anyone else.

Anyone who dared invade Impel Down—

Would be executed.

There were simply too many infamous pirates locked away in this prison.

Yes, the Dragon King had once shaken the seas.

But in Magellan's eyes, that only meant one thing:

Once you entered his Impel Down, your ending would be no different from any other criminal's.

The only difference was that the man before him clearly could not be treated like an ordinary pirate.

Magellan would have to go all out.

One Poison Dragon after another surged out from his body, racing toward Rosinante in a deadly flood.

"Still not learning your lesson, huh?" Rosinante said.

He raised his palm once again.

Immediately, all of the Poison Dragons were dragged toward his hand and swallowed up one after another.

Magellan's face remained cold.

"I want to see how much you can absorb."

"I know what your ability does. It silences my poison."

His eyes narrowed.

"But silenced poison doesn't just disappear."

"It's merely suppressed temporarily inside your body."

"If there's too much of it... even you won't be able to endure it."

Then his venomous smile deepened.

"And if it's poison you want... I've got plenty."

"Let's see how long you can keep this up."

Rosinante's smile remained calm.

"So you've gathered quite a bit of intel."

"But that's old information."

He looked at Magellan almost lazily.

"Who told you I still need to bear that poison inside my body now?"

Rosinante hadn't returned from the Naruto world empty-handed.

Back in that world, his physical constitution had not been particularly high.

Even with part of the Silent-Silent Fruit's power and his advanced swordsmanship, he could deal with ordinary ninja just fine.

But against the true monsters of the shinobi world...

He had been lacking.

And once Senju Hashirama and Uchiha Madara fully rose to power, the gap had become even clearer.

Unless you had truly faced them yourself, you could never understand the suffocating despair of Madara's Sharingan...

Or the crushing helplessness of Hashirama's Wood Release.

In order to keep pace with those two titans, Rosinante had begun learning ninjutsu.

Not only that—

He had also started researching ways to fuse ninjutsu, Haki, and the power of the Silent-Silent Fruit into entirely new techniques.

At first glance, Silent Seal looked like just another application of his Devil Fruit.

But in truth, it was a secret art Rosinante had created by combining the Silent-Silent Fruit with sealing techniques.

Rather than merely silencing an attack the moment it struck him...

Or directly nullifying the power of an enemy's attack...

This technique sealed the entire energy attack itself into a contained silence.

A true seal.

"Though you're not wrong about one thing," Rosinante said calmly. "Even sealing techniques have limits."

He looked at Magellan and smiled.

"But that limit... is probably far beyond anything you can imagine."

As he finished speaking, the suction force of Silent Seal intensified dramatically.

The Poison Dragons began rushing into his palm even faster than before.

Seeing that, Magellan immediately stopped releasing more Poison Dragons.

Rosinante raised a brow.

"Oh? Why stop?"

Magellan's expression turned cold and heavy.

"As expected of a former Emperor of the seas," he said. "You're not comparable to ordinary pirates."

Then his voice dropped.

"But this ends here."

The next moment—

A blood-red light began radiating from Magellan's body.

Dark crimson poison oozed out from him in waves.

More and more of it poured forth, spreading rapidly across the surroundings.

This venom possessed terrifying penetrating power.

The iron bars nearby...

The stone floor...

Everything it touched was instantly seeped through and corrupted.

It spread like death itself.

And when Rosinante saw that blood-red poison...

Even he couldn't help but frown.
