Yet, he also understood a hard truth. Even with his current strength, it was impossible to crush Team Rocket completely.
After all, an organization that could rise so powerfully within the League's own territory—right under the noses of the Draconis family, the League, and the Eight Great Families—was not without hidden trump cards. Ash knew better than to believe Team Rocket could be destroyed so easily.

Sliding into the seat, Ash gripped the controls, his heart racing. As soon as he activated the Marshmallow SR, the vehicle roared to life, shooting forward with blazing speed.
Within seconds, it accelerated to sixty kilometers per hour. As Ash shifted gears, the speed only climbed higher and higher.

Tearing into a sharp corner, Ash instinctively pulled the controls, hitting the equivalent of clutch and throttle. The vehicle's rear swung out with perfect timing, executing a flawless drift. The glowing red taillights streaked like a phantom across the empty street.
A grin tugged at his lips.
"Heh. This thing… is worth keeping."
