Without another word, she spun on her heel and bolted, running away from the table at full speed.
Kairos and Garrick exchanged a quick, confused glance before immediately chasing after her.
"Hey! Elara, wait!" Kairos called out, his fiery hair trailing behind him as he ran.
"What the hell? Slow down!" Garrick lumbered after them, heavy footsteps thudding against the floor.
The entire cafeteria fell into stunned silence as the three new first-years sprinted out, leaving behind a trail of bewildered stares.
