Under the light of the twin moons of Planet Arkanis, Azrael walked leisurely through the quiet streets.
A few minutes later, the grand silhouette of the academy's library came into his view.
Even though it was already past eleven, there were still a few students and professors moving in and out of the vast building.
As Azrael stepped inside, a faint scent of old wood, aged paper, and ink filled his senses. His gaze swept across the endless rows of towering bookshelves stretching far into the distance, each one stacked high with neatly arranged volumes that glimmered softly under the warm golden light.
Having already visited the library several times before, Azrael wasn't particularly surprised by the sight.
Without wasting any time, he made his way toward the section labeled "Basic Introduction to the Different Races in Genesis."
There were thousands of books in this section, but the overwhelming number didn't frustrate him. Instead, a faint smile curved his lips.
