Inside the maze, a space rift opened some distance away from the exit door, and Azrael stepped out of it.
Unlike the other areas of the maze, the walls in this region were fixed in place, no longer shifting to confuse those inside.
As long as students reached near this area, they would be able to detect the difference between this section and the others, thus realizing that they were close to the exit.
Before stepping out of the rift, Azrael had concealed his aura to the extreme. As a result, when he emerged, it did not alert the monster that was sleeping right outside the rift.
The monster's figure was no different from what Azrael had already seen through the 3D map in his mind.
It had a long body similar to a snake, paired with the massive head of a bull. Two horns protruded from either side of its head—the left horn a dark purple in color, while the right one burned with a deep orange hue.
