"I think it would be a good idea to go to that medium and thank her properly," Kara said.
Sous and Kara both sat in the bath tub with bubbles, taking their times to clean themselves by using the fluffy sponge puff. Sous had a red one while Kara had a blue one, each one signifying their favorite color.
"Things are settled in now and we haven't heard from Tany," Kara said. She leaned back into Sous to be held by the Alpha.
Sous remained quiet, her mind focusing on that day in which the witches came together to release Hacate. Sous wasn't even sure why Hacate was in a portal to begin with. It made her think back to when she was first expected from the Hacate academy and she was reading Hacate's diary. When she had to stop reading after the part where she became the 'Alpha' of Apex.
Kara turned around to face Sous and give her a kiss on the lips. Sous rubbed Kara's back and gave her a small smile while kissing her on the shoulder blade.
"Yeah..." she started. "I can go back to that village and give thanks to Abigal."
They made love that evening. Besides for the soft grunts that came from Sous, it was mostly silent. Kara wasn't really in the mood and truthfully nor was Sous, but Kara noticed Sous seemed to be in her own mind, her own world. She figured the Alpha could do for a release.
The Omega kept her eyes closed and bit her bottom lip while the Alpha pounded into her. When the head board started to hit the wall, Kara whispered for Sous to be softer, to not wake the kids.
Soon she felt the warmth, felt Sous finishing inside of her. They hugged one another for a while until Sous got up, both women making their way to the restroom to clean up.
Kara washed her hands at the sink while Sous sat on the toilet. "Did you enjoy it?" Kara asked the Alpha.
Sous nodded her head. She chuckled. "I always enjoy it with you," she said to the Omega.
"After your visit to the Medium, let's go to Canas so I can see my kids and grandkids. I want you to meet them plus we can see Pamoen and..."
"Xeno," Sous whispered.
"Yeah...then I can train you."
They got back into bed with Kara going to sleep first while Sous laid awake.
Sous stared at the ceiling fan as it spun slowly, each rotation casting shifting shadows across Kara's sleeping face. The soft hum of the motor blended with Kara's steady breathing, creating a rhythm that Sous tried to sync her thoughts to.
Outside, an owl hooted twice before falling silent, leaving only the rustle of leaves against the windowpane. Why had Hacate sealed herself away? The question gnawed at Sous like a splinter beneath her skin, persistent and sharp.
A moth battered itself against the dim bedroom lamp, wings thumping softly against the glass shade, a frantic, futile rhythm Sous understood too well. She traced the scar along her ribcage, a thin white line earned during the Binding Ritual at the academy. That night smelled of burnt sage and ozone, tasted like copper pennies on her tongue.
The next morning after the kids had left for school, Kara and Sous were able to make love with more energy.

Sous didn't hold back from her thrusting; she caused the bed to creak and the headboard to hit the wall. Her lips met Kara while the two were on their side, spooning together. Sous had one of Kara's leg lifted up for easy access into her.
Before she finished, she pulled out and turned Kara on her back, proceeded to kiss her in Kara's moist tender area. She felt Kara run fingers through her hair, buck her hips into her, and soon release herself with a climax leaving the Omega breathless and flushed.
Sous came up laughing and licking her lips. Kara sat up and leaned forward, and placed her mouth on Sous' organ, something she's never done before.
The Alpha became quiet and rigid. It was a different sensation, one she never cared to experience. She let out a sigh and a soft moan. When she felt herself about to release, she tried to pull away, but Kara kept her planted.
She watched as she pulsated in her Omega's mouth, some fluid seeping from the Omega's mouth just a bit. When Kara came up, she wiped her mouth.
"Did you like that?"
"It felt good...but I don't want you doing that again," Sous said, not too fond of the act.
"If it feels good..."
Sous got out of bed and walked naked to the restroom. She wasn't going to tell the truth to Kara, but she didn't want Kara doing it because Sous thought very low of Omegas who did it back during her promiscuous days when she had got out of prison.
Sous would rather higher a street walker than have Kara due that act to her again.
Kara sat on the bed, her tender fingers outlining her lips. To her, Sous tasted wonderful but if Sous didn't want to do it again, so be it. They were content with how things were anyway. The Omega got up and joined her mate in the restroom.
Sous was washing her face at the sink when Kara entered. She looked at Kara in the mirror and gave her a slight smile. Kara smiled back at her Alpha and wrapped her arms around Sous' waist. Sous felt Kara's soft bosom against her back.
The Alpha leaned back against Kara and closed her eyes. Kara kissed Sous' shoulder blade and gently rubbed her belly. Sous felt Kara's warmth seep into her skin. Kara placed another kiss on Sous' shoulder blade and then moved her lips up to Sous' neck. Sous tilted her head to give Kara more access.
Sous took Kara on the sink in the restroom. Kara's moans could be heard throughout the house if anyone else was present but no one was, not even little baby basilisk who would slither under the ground of various countries, never too far from Sous.
Kara tilted her head back holding onto Sous' buttocks, feeling her release into her. Her chest heaving up and down.
Sous walked to the store in which she first met Abigal. The bell went off as Abigal looked up at her. Sous placed her hand up to say hi, grateful that Kara had easily teleported her to the location.
Abigal placed her quill down and leaned on her counter looking at the Alpha. She sighed. "Did you know that they were going to open portals else where?"
Sous stopped in her tracks. "What?"
"Your witchy friends, did you know they were going to open other portals?"
Sous shook her head slowly.
Abigal simply nodded her head and picked up her quill. She started writing again. "We're gonna need to close up those portals."
