Elena extended her arm to open the door before walking into the ward.
When Elena saw Lucas lying on the bed, she placed her hand on her mouth and burst into tears. "Lu… Lucas!"
Daniel had informed her about Lucas being admitted to the hospital but she didn't expect his condition to be so bad.
Lucas lied down on the bed with tubes attached to his neck, chest, and diaphragm. She had no idea what they were for.
Although she had covered her mouth, she could not control her sobbing.
Daniel had no idea what to say. "Um, President… is alright now for the most part. Don't worry, Miss Ashford…"
He had informed Elena about it because he wanted her to keep Lucas in check as his condition was quite serious right now.
Lucas had previously undergone procedures to have blood drained out of his lungs and chest. They were separated into two treatments because the doctor was afraid that he would not be able to take it.
Elena interrupted him. "What's wrong with his health? What happened?"
