"Is there something wrong?" Theo's voice came out sharp with worry as he hurried to the bed, immediately noticing the pallor on Daisy's face.
Daisy blinked a few times, trying to steady her breath. Her eyes darted around the room, searching. "What time is it? Did you just come back?"
Theo looked a little guilty, rubbing the back of his neck before nodding. "Yeah… I did. There was a lot to take care of before we left for the trip." He sat beside her, his hand moving gently to brush away the strands of hair clinging to her damp forehead.
"If it's too much, we can just cancel it," Daisy murmured, her voice weak but sincere. "We don't have to go if you're too busy."
"No—no," Theo quickly took her hand, his thumb brushing over her knuckles. "Why would we cancel our trip?" His tone softened, worry still lingering in his eyes. "You look pale… did you have a nightmare?"
Daisy hesitated, her lips parting slightly before she nodded. "Yeah… I did. It felt so real."
