"Atlas will destroy them, Luna," Ember cut in.
Luna turned to her, her expression torn between disbelief and reluctant curiosity.
"With the way he carries himself, even I'm curious to see what he has planned," Ember went on with a light laugh. "So how about we just sit back, watch from a distance, and see how this plays out?"
Luna exhaled sharply, irritation flickering across her face. She sank back into her seat, crossing her legs with a huff.
"I'm under so much pressure right now. This is a critical moment. If they manage to defeat that monster, we'll end up with two alliances on this island strong enough to win."
She paused, her shoulders slumping as she let out another sigh.
"Not that we had much of a chance from the start, anyway…"
Ember leaned over and nudged her shoulder with a playful grin.
"Keep optimistic. Atlas is cooking, you know."
Atlas could read exactly what was running through Luna's mind.
