Atlas was half-asleep, his eyelids heavy. It felt like the deepest, most peaceful sleep he'd had in weeks. But… something felt strange.
"It's so cute… it looks so tender, I want to eat it. Uhm…"
A woman's voice reached his ears. Soft, playful, and close.
Too close.
Atlas's eyes snapped open, and he flinched slightly. Someone was lying right beside him.
A woman, her crimson hair falling across her face, her breathing calm and steady in sleep.
Atlas jolted upright, pushing the blanket off his body. He wasn't wearing a shirt, but thankfully he still had his pants on.
"Sera?" he muttered in confusion.
What was she doing in his room?
Serenith was there, fast asleep beside him, wearing only a tight-fitting sleep shirt and short pants.
"I like the meat… it's so big…" she mumbled in her sleep, her voice hazy and innocent as she shifted and stretched slightly.
"Sera… how did you get into my room?"
