Two massive floating islands hovered below Atlas and the others. From above, it was clear that Gwyndelle's island, the defending side, was positioned lower than the enemy's.
From this height, it was difficult to see what exactly was happening on the surface below. Perhaps only the flashes of explosions would be visible. But huge floating screens would project every significant moment of the battle, highlighting the key events as they unfolded.
And at that very moment, the war began.
Atlas and Bolin stood far apart, both watching the floating screen to follow the unfolding clash. Every so often, they glanced at each other, ready to react should anything critical happen below.
Suddenly, several massive teleportation portals swirled open around the outer perimeter of the enemy's floating island. One after another, waves of soldiers emerged. Dozens of them, marching forward in formation, fully prepared for an all-out assault.
