Atlas wore a black cloak, its edges burning like dark fire. It was the Abyssbound Mantle he had obtained from the Void Core. At the very least, it was enough to hide his face.
At first, he thought no one would recognize him. After all, he had been gone for two years, and it should have been natural for people to assume he was dead. But reality proved otherwise. Somehow, there were still people who recognized him with ease.
Maybe it was because of Laura. Atlas had communicated with that girl several times before, after all.
Well, whatever the reason, this was still better.
Yet after walking for a while, he started to notice something strange. Why were people looking at him more often than before?
Atlas ignored it at first, then paused to think. Did this cloak look too eye-catching to them?
A black cloak with shadowy, burning edges like this, when he thought about it, really did make him look like some kind of villain. Of course people would be suspicious of him.
