Astrid could feel Mika's gaze on her, and it was anything but innocent.
It was hot. Tempting. She could almost feel the heat radiating from his eyes, roaming across her body, raising every inch of her skin.
It was as if he was touching her without actually touching her, his gaze alone setting her nerves alight.
And honestly?
Even though she was supposed to be against this, even though she knew it was wrong because she saw him as her brother—it actually made her quite excited to watch him stare at her like that.
