Mika let out a deep breath of relief.
"You should have said this from the very beginning."
He tapped the daughter's neck gently, making her faint instantly, then handed her over to Nadia.
Nadia immediately embraced the child as if she were her own, relief washing over her. She had truly feared she was about to watch Mika slaughter an innocent girl right in front of her eyes.
