After the demon emperor collapsed suddenly, the demons gathered around both of them in a hurry, my dad just turned in his spatial equipment and informed the elders of what happened before entering the portal, the elders gasped at the possibility of something out here powerful enough to scare two Dukes .
One of the elders then asked my father to tell him everything that happened from the day they went inside to the current day, my father complied and began to tell the elders about everything that happened during the period they stayed in this land, he also handed two maps one was the original that his ancestor left and the other one was one he made and marked all the new resource points, together with the pouch and most of the things in it .
Seeing him so cooperative, the elders came to a decision and that to leave the pouch and its content in the custody of my father and his family, no one objected, since the ownership of this spatial pouch belonged to our family from the start anyway, a lucky bet, that move was a lucky bet done by my father, he already allocated all the Mana Stones he wasn't able to fit in the Spatial Equipment which were given by the elders in that pouch, now that he managed to secure the pouch for him and his family, he was already satisfied with the his gains from this trip .
The only Ruler powerhouse in the room suddenly asked my father if he knew anything about the information that his companion mentioned, but my father shook his head and described bitterly the way his companion acted before asking him if he was ready to get back leaving him no time to ask about the content of the said information .
The Ruler just nodded his head and went out holding onto the other spatial equipment that was in the hands of the unconscious demon emperor shamelessly, but no one dared to stop him, or say anything about this, they began to directly check the other spatial equipment at hand, every spatial equipment they opened astonished him more and more .
After opening the last one, they one by one came and patted my father on the shoulder saying that he had done well and that his family contributions will never be forgotten and that he will be once again rewarded handsomely for his efforts .
The demon emperor was still unconscious, but he was not showing any signs of waking up any time soon, so the demon elders began to distribute the loot according to the agreed upon condition from before, according to how each party contributed in funding this campaign, seeing how much loot was brought back, no one wanted to forsake his chance of coming here himself, even though most of them was so weak to even survive in this land, but they all wanted to keep their chance, my dad was one of the few people who decided to forsake his right to compete for one of the two chances to go to that land again .
He ended earning scornful looks from his family members and a lot of his peers, but my father paid those guys scornful looks no mind and took one step forward and asked the order for a favor .
The favor motioned for him to go ahead and ask whatever he wants, my father asked the elders to grant him the right to start his own family, something that can only be done if the one who wanted to start a new family under his name, abandoned the name and the relation of his current family, but my father decisively chose to cut off all his relation with his old family and start his own .
His family wanted to object, but he again reminded everyone in the room of how much his grandfather had contributed to the demon race, shutting all of the objections up and the elders granted him the right to build his own family, he started recruiting new members to his new founded family on the spot, much to the dismay of his old family .
They also asked my father to give them a share of what was in the pouch, but he replied to their request by telling them that it wasn't possible and that he can't give his newfound family wealth to anyone that come to the door and ask for it, they wanted to retort to force, but my father's Aura forced all of them to rethink of the consequences of failing to deal with him here, they requested help from the elders, but my father told them that the elders were just and already gave them what they deserved, the elders who were about to meddle, choose to refrain from doing so .
Seeing that there was no point of continuing the issue, they willingly withdrew their complaint, that day marked the founding day of our family, from that day on forth fate seemed to have brightly smiled in the direction of our family .
Then suddenly the unconscious guy took a deep breath and directly stood up, startling all the demons in the room, he carefully checked himself and was shocked when he found out that his spatial equipment seemed to be missing, but my father noticed his pale look and directly told him that it was taken by the Grand elder, he nodded in understanding and just sighed as if he was relieved from a huge burden .
The elders began to awake from their shock and directly circled around the guy and showered him with questions about what had happened and why did he lose his consciousness the moment he passed through the portal .
The answer he gave was that it will be a long story, then he directly began to say what happened after he and my father separated from each other, but my father already told them about that part already, so they directly asked him to skip it .
So he did as he was told and continued to tell them about what had happened after he become enlisted in the demon king army, he first told them that his real motive behind joining the demon king army was that he wanted to gather more information about the demon king and be close to him to get a chance of seeing if he too had away to summon the heroes, but the results i got was quite disappointed, the intelligent of that Demon King wasn't that high, he didn't even understand what was the demon emperor saying nor any of his underlings knew anything about this subject .
The demon emperor wondered, why was it like that, but he wasn't able to come to an answer, as the demon emperor was about to leave this place, he was tasked with joining the hunt of a black dragon together with the demon king and all of the high ranking members of his army, the demon emperor wondered why would that demon king need such a formation to hunt a single monster, but the Demon Emperor agreed anyway wanting to make use of all the ruckus and leave unnoticed .
The hunting was set to be at the end of their ninth month in this world, in his free time, he wonderd the land disguised as a human wanting to see if he will be able to gain any useful information while moving, he was able to gain information about a certain kingdom planning to use a ritual which they will be able to use to summon heros from another world to save them from the terrible enemy of their, who was none other the demon king, the ritual caught his attention but it was destined to start a few hours after the hunting task with the demon king, so he decided to try and do both of the two, since both of the two activities were of quite interest to him .
The day came where he will be finally understand why the demon king asked all the high ranking officer under his command to join this hunt, as we reached the lair of the said monster, the Mana was so thick to the point of suffocating, the demon emperor was then tasked with luring the monster out of his lair, he agreed to do this job, thinking that he needed to hurry or else he might miss the magical ritual .
He took a few steps into the cave and suddenly sensed as if there was something or someone standing behind him, he channelled his mana and raised his defense and caution up, then continued to walk into the cave, then he suddenly came to a sudden stop, remembering that this place was one of the places which were marked as dangerous red zones, he hurriedly came out of the cave, just to see the demon king massacring his entire group of officers, when the demon king noticed him, he smiled at the Demon Emperor and asked him a question that made all the elders and my father perplexed .
He asked him if he was a demon, the moment he declared his question the whole scene darkened a huge shock was beginning to spread through the ground, the demon emperor told the elders that he saw a huge monster that was releasing more pressure than a Duke like him can dream to achieve, that black dragon was starting at him and on top of his head was an illusionary symbol of an eyeball, the eyeball was also looking intently at him, its gaze on him was quite heavy to bear .
Then as if not giving him the chance to even declare his innocence, both the Demon King and the Black Dragon launched their attacks on him almost simultaneously, the Demon King attack was negligible, but the fire breath of the Black Dragon was a life threatening attack, so he directly used an amulet and fled from the scene, but he was spotted the moment he appeared in another place by that same eyeball symbol from before .
He once again tried to move to another place, but was once again spotted by that weird eyeball, but seeing its power, he remembered the warning that the demon mentioned in his journal, try not to use much strength out of the safe zones as to not be noticed by the Shard .
He already made the mistake, using a bit more than necessary strength, so that he can impress the demon king, but he didn't expect things to turn that way, he spent hours changing his place and moving all over the land in try of escaping the pursuit of the demon king and that black dragon and most importantly the pursuit of that Shard .
When he was wondering how to escape its monitoring after all of that time, he remembered that the only remaining safe zone was the one near the rapture, so he hurriedly went there and lucky for him his companion was there as well, looking around to make sure that the eyeball didn't appear, he told his companion that they need to go back in a hurry .
The elders thought that these were indeed quite an important information and asked the demon emperor to take some rest and was about to leave my father and the demon emperor go thinking that was all to it, my father wanted to ask about why he suddenly collapsed when he appeared from the portal, but he got his answer before even needing to ask, just as the elders were about to leave, the demon emperor continued to say that the moment he passed through the portal, he felt a great disturbance in the space of that land, he got visions of another rapture, somewhere in our world connected to this land and it was just beginning to take shape, he told the elders that the summoning ritual must have worked or else the second rapture shouldn't have appeared .
That conclusion shocked the elders, they began to discuss between themselves, about how they should be going forward, the demon emperor suggested that they should send another batch in a hurry, that batch will be responsible for capturing the hero and return back .
But his suggestion was directly rejected by the elders, arguing that a reckless move like this might doom the whole operation, since if they really tried to do one more trip using the blood of the hero's son who currently was still beginning to recuperat, there will be a big chance that he might die, leaving them with no ability to make any more trips, if the plan of capturing a Hero failed, not to mention how strong was the mentioned hero himself, but there was also the fact that if they ended up using more strength than necessary, there was the chance of the batch sent being discovered by the Shard, resulting in their complete obliteration .
In the end, they decided to wait for the hero's son to finish recuperating before taking any more actions, in the meantime they asked the demon emperor to patrol the surrounding sections and make use of his special ability related to space and try to find more about the whereabouts of the new rapture, the demon emperor agreed and both of him and my father gathered their loot and decided to leave, my father was asked by the demon emperor if he wanted to go with him, but my father refused his invitation, saying that he had become a family head and need to began arranging all sort of things, the demon emperor congratulated him and directly left .
The time needed for the hero's son to recuperate was longer than anticipated, but no one said anything about this, they waited patiently and in that 4 years he needed for recuperation, the second rapture had already been found in the section under the jurisdiction of the Monster race, but due to not understanding what it was and how it worked, they sealed the area around the rapture and made it a forbidden zone .
The second rapture was in the current Trollan the city capital of the kingdom Troland, but no kingdoms were there 40 years ago, merely a few human clans battling each other for hagemony .
In this period of time, the quotas of who will be able to enter the portal had already been decided, the Demon Emperor was once again able to triumph and gained a quote to enter the portal again together with another demon, some wasn't happy with him being chosen this time, some said that the reason was him being already targeted by the Shard and he might die the moment he leave the safe zone .
But the discovery of Battle Aura, made the demon race fighting ability on the other side of the portal skyrocketing and that without even the need to use their Mana techniques, the herbs gotten from the last campaign also helped in raising the strength of those who tried to train their Battle Aura .
The discovery was made after the Demon Emperor found a similarity between the Battle Aura used by the humans in the Real World and the one used in this land, he then gave another brilliant suggestion and that to have most of the demons learn and train their Battle Aura, since it might help them unleash a powerful strength, without being found out by the Shard .
So most of those who objected on him getting to go again were all silenced up, but unfortunately for the second guy who was able to get the second quota, he was captured by the monster race and they wanted to trade him for the demon emperor, the elders understood clearly that the demon emperor probing on the second rapture was discovered by the Monster race .
Previously they would have just been forced to turn him in, without any say on the matter, but now that they got 3 new Ruler level powerhouses, the overall strength of the clan had risen to the point of being able to talk things out with the Monster race .
They refused and the demon guy who was taken hostage got killed and with that the relationship between the two races began to fall apart and a raging war was beginning to loom on the horizon, but the demon race didn't back down until they found out a shocking news, the Monster race have already had an Emperor level figure in their ranks, they backed down a bit and asked to negotiate peacefully, instead of going through a raging war that will leave both sides vulnerable to the attacks of the other races, for some reason the Monster race welcomed the negotiation with open arms .
The Monsters wanted to know all the information gathered by the demon regarding the rapture, the demon wanted to have some room to maneuver, so they said that they will give the Monsters the information that the ancestor demon of our family gathered and decided not to mention anything else .
But the Monster race Emperor saw through the plan of theirs and directly told them that he knew of the use of the blood medal and where it came from, baffling all the demon elders, seeing that the demon hostage may have already gave all the information he had, the demon elders decided to come clear with the monster race and told them, most of what they currently knew .
In the end, both parties came to a tacitly agreement to explore the second rapture together, this time the two quotas will be distributed between the two races with one for each of them .
We weren't aware of the target of the Monster race at that time, but all demons were aware of something fishy going on with the monster race, after all they weren't in need of Mana Stones unlike the demon race they had more than enough, but since it was already agreed upon by the two races, the demons decided to wait and see .
The day to finally returned to this land came again and both the demons and the monsters were excited about the results of this campaign, the demons already sat a plan for the demon emperor to follow, he is to gather more information about the heroes in addition to collect more resources, the spatial equipment given to him this time was many times more the first time .
The monster race sent the monster emperor's son, the same current monster who rule Diblosia Devo, but their goals in sending him was quite the mystery .
Anyway the moment they came to this land through the second rapture, they saw that the humans here were rejoicing, they disguised themselves and asked what was going on, they were told that the heroes had gone to the demon king lair and by tomorrow morning they will be able to kill him .
But as if the celebration before it actually happened, jinxed it, the next day the whole land shock, due to hearing about the death of the two heroes at the hands of the Demon King and His pet dragon .
