All the people around me unsheathed their weapons at me, i was currently an enemy to the masses sitting peacefully here, but those guys weren't worth the trouble at the moment, but that didn't mean that i will be leaving them be .
A look, that was all that all of them took, the moment i glanced in their direction, the swords raised were all being dropped from their hands, i dealt with my murder heart before that was true, but my killing intent was still there, it seemed to have been also blessed with my transformation into a demon, one look was all it took me to strike fear in the hearts of all of them .
None spoke even a word and i won't be interested even if they did, i turned to look at the lizard man in front of me, if someone were to ask about who was under the most pressure at the moment, their would be one answer to that .
The lizard man was the one currently under the most pressure, due to the fact that he was feeling how many times stronger than him, i was .
He was also able to feel how much strength those big arms of mine were containing, enough to crush him like a tin can, he seeing that none of the people in the surrounding dared to make even the slightest move, his anxious body and heart were stirred even more, he began shaking in my hands, feeling that i was beginning to strangle him even more aggressively due to his struggles to escape, he finally let go of any unrealistic thought of escaping, after he lost confidence in doing so, he surrendered himself to fate .
Seeing him like this, i start slapping him left and right, not understanding why was that stupid thing in my arms wasn't responding to my question, so i once again asked him about what was the name of the girl, that was taken as a slave by King Devo, he was still unresponsive, so i beat him even more harshly than before, until his eyes finally regained some clarity to them, he began to scream saying :
I will tell, i will tell, i beg you stop beating me .
Seeing that he was finally willing to speak i let him go, i waited for him to stop coughing and glaring at his comrades and others at the scene due to them not giving him a hand just now, most of them averted his gaze and some glared back as if telling him " what do you want us to do, go to hell " , after this episode of discomfort interaction ended, he looked at me with a clear fearful expression on his face and began telling what he knew about this matter .
He said that he heard that piece of gossip from someone working in the palace, that human slave suddenly appeared after an important guest made a visit and he gave her to the king as a gift, the girl name was unknown, but the king kept boasting about having a human heroine as his new bedwarmer, that was all he knew about this, he kept swearing that this was all that he heard about this while bowing down and pounding his face to the floor over and over, for a quite long time .
But i had no idea about this happening, i was currently making my way towards the city gates with a heart that was raging, i kept praying in my heart that the slave girl he was talking about wasn't Hana, but due to already being stressed from all that happened today, my mind kept showing me the worst possible outcomes that i could be able to imagine .
Tightening and strengthening the the knot in my heart even more, making my rational side of mind succumb to slumber, i appeard directly in front of the gate, then got yelled at by one of the guards, saying that the time duration to enter the city have already run out and that i should wait for tomorrow, the guard that said that was suddenly caught by the face and got thrown into the barrier behind him, an electric charge met his body halfway and turned him to ash the moment it made contact with his skin .
I was able to tell that most of the guards here weren't accustomed to a thing like this happening, just by purely looking at their faces, they were shocked, surprised, fearful, it was either they weren't accustomed to this happening or were just shocked to see one of their comrades fall like this in less than a second, i was now standing on top of the walls, trying to discern a way in .
The huge blue barrier in front of me seemed to be reacting to those who will get near it and will fry them directly, there was a smaller gate under me, one that looked like an airport corridor, but before i took action and get down to it, a loud horn sounded from the guards, it was so loud that even i felt that my my ears were tingling at hearing it, then swarm of guards began to appear from the small gate, all wondering about the same thing, what was going on here .
The terrified guards from before all began to scream, saying :
Intruder, intruder .
The moment the other guards heard that they began looking around searching for the intruder mentioned, i then whistled at them, forcing all of them to look up, once they saw me, without wasting as much of a second, they all pointed all their bows, crossbows at me and at the order of what i presumed to be this legion leader, began to rain me with all different kinds of gleaming arrows .
All that were deflected effortlessly the moment they came in contact with my skin, the pupils of all of them widened in shock, they then began to unsheathe their swords and transformed into their demon forms, different kinds of creatures were now in front of me, some looked like snakes, some more like lions, some were similar to birds, dragons all kinds of creatures appeared on front of me, they were mostly monsters .
But the leader of them was a Demon, a Demon can recognize one another and also the fact that he had wings similar to mine, that man began to fly in the air and stood in front of me, weirdly enough even though he was close to the barrier he wasn't attacked by it like the other guy and both were at the exact same distance from the barrier .
He began asking about my identity, asking me to remove the cloth on my face, but i wasn't going to answer any of his questions, so i kept silent and instead appeard directly in front of the creatures that were standing between me and that gate, the leader seeing that i completely disregarded of him, he issued the order to attack .
They all began to swarm me with their huge bodies, i Instinctively tried to reach for my new sword the one that i got from that guy Ludo before, but i didn't found it in any of the spatial equipment currently on me, that wretched guy might have stole it, he should pray that i wouldn't punch him more severely this time .
Seeing that i had no weapons other than my fists, i used them to throw a full power punch, the first time i'm releasing a full strength punch, my punching power currently was enough to shatter the space in front of me and create enough recoil force to throw all the creatures coming in front of me away, some of the space debris fell on some of their bodies, without much difficulty, it directly pierced through their bodies like they were nothing .
Killing some of them and injuring others, completely eliminating the advantage in numbers they appeard here with, the crack in the fabric of space in front of me began to heal almost instantly, i taking advantage of them being already cleared out of my way, i began heading towards the gate, no one dared to stop me as they realized that no one present can even hope to be able to so, as i was beginning to get more and more closer to the gate, i was able to feel that the gate in front of me was releasing echoes of disturbance of the space around the gate .
Which allowed me to finally understand that the gate was acting similar to a teleportation circle, both were connected to other places and through them you can go to those places, the gate in front of me was a teleportation gate .
As i got near the gate, the blue barrier as if already sensing dangers began to charge lightning attacks like the one that killed the guard from before, but on a more larger scale, the whole area with shimmering with the blue arcs of lightening that were dancing around and seemed to be forming something, A Giant Lightening Spear began to take from .
A colossal spear formed completely from lightening was falling down on me, for the first time since i transformed into a demon i actually felt threatened by it, the moment it began falling down on me .
I transformed into my demon form and met the spear midway, suddenly my eyes were activated on their own and the spear of lightening in front of me was suddenly engulfed in a red energy, then the spear descending actually came to a sudden stop, then much to the shock of everyone present, it began to stand behind me in my demon form as if surrendering to me .
I was not in the mood to dwell on the matter currently, all i was certain of was that i was indeed in control of that spear of lightening, i can control it however i liked, but this at the cost of both Mana and Mind Power .
Since they weren't going to let me in, then i also refused to go in, they will be now forced to go out, i directly ordered the spear to continue its attack, but the target this time was different, he will fall on the blue barrier.
The moment i willed the spear to attack the barrier, its color turned from blue to red, sirens went off one after another until the whole place was filled with their sounds, the moment that the Spear met the shield, i was able to see more than 4 or five people were coming out of the teleportation gate together with a rat demon that i was very familiar with .
The moment i noticed them coming, the bad premonition i had before returned but this time it was more intense than ever before, but now wasn't the time to think about this .
The moment the spear met the barrier, silent was what came first then after a fraction of a second, shockwaves were spread around the whole area, wrecking havoc through the whole land, their clash was strong that the pressure that came with it forced those unable to bear the impact to fall on their knees, then the spear pierced through the barrier defences and was about to open a whole through it, when my eyes were suddenly beginning to become heavy and no matter how hard i tried, it seemed that no matter how hard i struggled, i just can't stop myself from losing consciousness .
I closed my eyes and most likely have returned back to my human form, was that really the end of me, i hadn't still known who was that slave heroine that guy talked about, meeting that Ludo was really both bad luck and good luck, those were most of my last thoughts as i was forced to sleep .
The next time i opened my eyes, i felt that i had the best sleep in my life, my whole body was rejuvenated, i never felt as energetic as i felt today, i was sleeping on a quite luxurious bed, the ceiling in front of me was decorated with gold colored curtains all over, i thought that everything currently in front of me was a dream, so i went back to sleep, but no matter how hard i tried to force myself to sleep, i wasn't able to do so .
I opened my eyes and looked at one of the mirrors that were decorating the room and began to see the reflection of that Callen in them, shouldn't i be seeing my original body since this was a dream and all .
I stood up and the moment i heard the cracking voices of my bones and joints, forcing me to see if something was wrong with my body inside the dream and there was something indeed wrong with my body, my Mana Core was filled to the brim for the first time ever, my Mental power ( instead of Mind Powe r) on the other hand was weaker than before, was that the reason why i was beginning to feel my mood is sore .
The room was what confirmed that this was indeed nothing more but a dream, or i might have died and this was heaven or hell, i wonder, the room looked to be much luxurious than i can even imagine in my wildest dreams, everything from the chairs to the tables, everything seemed to be glittering, there were a few pictures portrait on the table, but i wasn't able to identify any person inside the picture, most of those pictures were of a woman and a man holding a baby, others showed the man alone, there were others that showed the woman .
Then there were some portraits hanged upon the wall, that was showing a kid, then as if assessing that kid progress, there were portraits of him getting older and older until he became a young man with blonde hair, red eyes and looking quite arrogant as well, he had a picture stomping on other people while he was laughing, other than him being a bit good looking there was no more remarkable feature about him .
I involuntarily looked at a mirror then back to the picture of the guy on the wall and thought to myself that their seemed to be a huge similarity between the current me and the guy whose portrait was hanged on the wall, the eyes were similar in color but the pupil shape was very much different, his hair color was different than mine, but most of his facial features were similar in a way to the current me, what was happening here .
I jumped back to the bed involuntarily as i heard someone's footsteps coming towards the room, i covered myself and acted as if i deep in sleep, the room door was suddenly opened and someone came close to my bed and kept staring at me intently and silently without saying a single word, i sensed as if something metallic and cold was being put near my face, probably a weapon, but as if he still hadn't made his mind about what to do to me, he removed the blade or whatever was close to my face away and walked away from my bed, heading towards the door .
Just as he opened a door, he stared at me again and said :
You better not expect me to hand her to you without a fight, cousin .
