Chapter 23 - What Heaven Couldn’t Burn(18+)

"If Heaven dared to touch you, then I'll touch what Heaven fears most."

---

Location: Silent Bamboo Pavilion — Nightfall after the Judgment

Scene Mood: Quiet. Breathless. Heavy with memory.

---

The stars were still trembling.

Heaven had blinked — and the world still hadn't exhaled.

But inside the broken pavilion where Long Tian rested, there was only silence. A cracked floor beneath his body. Ash on his skin. And a single heartbeat pulsing through the Fifth Seal like a whisper that refused to die.

He didn't sleep.

He didn't need to.

Not after defying something older than law.

---

Wu Jiao stood in the doorway, her silhouette sharp and commanding against the dim light.

She had shed her robes, leaving her clad only in a thin silk slip that clung to her curves like a second skin. Her hair fell in cascading waves over her shoulders, and her eyes burned with an intensity that made the air between them crackle.

"You're here," he said, his voice low, rough, as if it had been dragged through the fires of his soul.

"I was always here," she replied, stepping inside and shutting the door behind her. The latch clicked softly, sealing them in their private world.

She moved toward him slowly, her bare feet whispering against the wooden floor. He watched her, his gaze tracing every line of her body, every curve that had haunted his dreams. Her hips swayed with a deliberate grace, her breasts straining against the thin fabric of her slip. His breath hitched as she stopped just inches away, close enough that he could feel the heat radiating from her skin.

She knelt before him, her hands resting on his knees. Her touch was electric, igniting a fire that burned through the layers of his restraint. She looked up at him, her eyes dark with desire, and her lips parted slightly, as if inviting him to devour her.

"You defied Heaven for me," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "Now let me defy it for you."

Her hands moved up his thighs, slow and deliberate, until they reached the waistband of his pants. She undid the ties with a practiced ease, her fingers brushing against the skin of his hips. He hissed in a breath, his body tensing with anticipation as she pulled the fabric away, revealing the hard, aching length of him.

"Wu Jiao—" he started, but her mouth was already on him, hot and wet, swallowing him whole.

He groaned, his hands tangling in her hair as she took him deeper, her tongue swirling around him in a rhythm that made his vision blur. She was relentless, her movements firm and deliberate, her lips creating a suction that sent waves of pleasure crashing through him. He could feel the Seal on his chest pulsating in time with her rhythm, as if it were feeding off their connection.

She pulled back slightly, her breath hot against him as she looked up, her eyes locking with his. "This is mine," she said, her voice thick with possession. "Every inch. Every gasp. Every moan."

He nodded, unable to speak, his body trembling with need. She took him in again, deeper this time, her hands gripping his thighs as she worked him with a skill that left him breathless. His hips bucked involuntarily, seeking more of her, more of the heat that threatened to consume him.

When she finally released him, he was left panting, his chest heaving with the effort to breathe. She stood then, her silk slip slipping from her shoulders to pool at her feet. She was bare before him, her skin glowing in the moonlight, her breasts full and inviting, her nipples hard with arousal.

He reached for her, his hands trembling as they wrapped around her waist. He pulled her onto his lap, her warmth pressing against him, her wetness smearing against his thighs. She moaned softly, her hands gripping his shoulders as she settled over him, the tip of him pressing against her entrance.

"Do it," she breathed, her voice barely audible. "Take me. Make me yours."

He hesitated for the briefest moment, his eyes searching hers for any sign of doubt. But there was none. Only fire. Only need.

With a growl, he thrust into her, seating himself fully in one smooth motion. She cried out, her nails digging into his shoulders as she arched against him, her body welcoming him with a heat that made him groan. He gripped her hips, his fingers digging into her flesh as he began to move, slow at first, then faster, harder.

Her breath came in ragged gasps, her breasts bouncing with every thrust. She leaned forward, her lips crashing against his in a kiss that was all teeth and tongue and desperation. She tasted like honey and sin, and he couldn't get enough of her.

Her body tightened around him, her muscles clenching as she neared her peak. He could feel it, the pressure building, the pleasure coiling in his gut. He reached between them, his thumb finding the bundle of nerves at her core, and rubbed in tight, quick circles.

She shattered with a cry, her body trembling as she came undone around him. The sensation was too much, and he followed her over the edge, his release flooding her with a heat that left them both gasping.

They stayed like that for what felt like an eternity, their bodies still connected, their breaths mingling in the quiet of the room. She rested her forehead against his, her eyes closed, her lips curved into a soft smile.

"You're mine," she whispered, her voice filled with a quiet certainty.

"And you're mine," he replied, his voice just as sure.

They stayed like that, wrapped in each other, the world outside forgotten. For now, there was only them. Only this. Only fire.

---

When they stopped — hours later, or maybe moments — Wu Jiao rested against him, chest rising and falling.

He stroked her back in silence.

Then she whispered:

"Now if Heaven ever looks at you again…

it'll see me, too."
