'Grayson's mind was already planning ahead, mapping the zerg in front of him.
The regeneration is still the problem. I already severed it, but the projectiles from the mecha barely managed to keep it from regenerating back into a limb.
That brief distracting thought made 'Grayson' not notice the causality's little movements. One of the severed limbs somehow managed to bounce again against the fairly wet ground.
WHOMP!
It twisted mid-air in a weird way that it was positioned just right to 'Grayson's side. It even twirled weirdly as if it couldn't decide which side it would want to land.
'Grayson's eyes turned and barely dodged it—
"Ugh—!"
—But it just had to bounce on the ground, a little behind 'Grayson's side, and caught 'Grayson' across the side of his waist.
Seriously? A limb? How petty.
The pain was immediate and hot as it bled.
It's really desperate to get me just for defying his rules.
