After school, Kitazawa went to Konoha Hospital.
He didn't return to his own office but instead went to a room equipped with various medical instruments. This room was usually used to analyze unknown poisons or examine patients with extremely complex conditions.
As the attending Medical Ninja at Konoha Hospital, Kitazawa naturally had the authority to use it.
After closing the door, he took out a summoning scroll and retrieved White Zetsu's spores and Uchiha Obito's severed arm.
Kitazawa used the medical equipment to examine both.
As expected, Obito's severed arm was composed of Hashirama cells and White Zetsu cells. After all, pure Hashirama cells were too volatile. And White Zetsu's spores were, in essence, White Zetsu cells.
Kitazawa pondered. If limb regeneration were performed using White Zetsu cells as a base, there would no longer be the side effect of shortened lifespan.
The only pity was the scarcity of White Zetsu cells — this amount would, at most, be enough for three patients.
Once the Medical Ninjutsu for limb regeneration was developed, he could ask Kosuke if he would be the first to try it.
Kitazawa thought of Orochimaru. If Orochimaru hadn't defected, he could have utilized his cloning technology.
Not just cloning technology — White Zetsu cells in his hands would likely be able to perform various functions. After all, he was a Ninja World scientist.
Obito's severed arm also had great utility. Theoretically, through the neutralization of Hashirama cells and White Zetsu cells, Wood Release Ninja could be mass-produced.
Furthermore, it could help alleviate the burden on the Uchiha Clan's Mangekyō Sharingan.
But the same problem remained: White Zetsu cells were too few, and Hashirama cells were not abundant either. Considering Tsunade, he couldn't easily use Hashirama cells.
But he didn't need to use them. Using Hashirama cells was to obtain Wood Release, which he could also get through system missions.
Kitazawa put away Obito's severed arm and White Zetsu's spores. He once again realized the importance of having his own faction.
Otherwise, he would have to go to Konoha Hospital even for a simple check-up, let alone more complex experiments.
But he couldn't set up a laboratory or anything similar right now because it was too expensive. In the original work, Orochimaru established the Hidden Sound Village primarily to make money.
All kinds of high-precision experimental equipment were extremely costly — especially considering the rather unconventional state of technology in the Ninja World. His current funds probably wouldn't even be enough to build half a laboratory.
Kitazawa then thought of Kabuto. In the original work, besides Orochimaru, Kabuto was also a Ninja World scientist.
It's just that without Orochimaru's guidance, Kabuto's growth would be slower. But regardless, he could try to guide him in that direction.
However, everything would have to wait until Tsunade became Hokage. By then, he would have a certain amount of influence.
Kitazawa returned home. Kurenai wasn't there.
Without thinking, he knew she was practicing her Chakra Enhanced strength behind the house. After the battle with Shinno, she had become much more diligent.
After all, in that battle, she realized her own lack of strength. If she didn't quickly improve her strength, the gap between her and Kitazawa would only grow wider.
Kitazawa sat on the sofa, contemplating how to modify Heavenly Foot of Pain. Fortunately, it was about subtraction, not addition, so modifying it downwards wasn't as difficult as he imagined.
Kitazawa quickly had an idea. He took out paper and pen and began to write.
Time slowly passed, and the sound of the door opening echoed.
Kurenai, dripping with sweat, walked in. She paused slightly when she saw Kitazawa, wiped the sweat from her forehead, and asked,
"When did you get back?" Kitazawa put down his pen and patted his thigh, saying nothing, but the meaning was clear.
"I'm all sweaty, I'm going to take a shower first." Kurenai shook her head and said.
"I'll help you wash." Kitazawa eyed Kurenai and said with a smile.
The beautiful woman, after sweating, added a touch of dishevelment and athletic beauty to her sexiness — especially the faint beads of sweat shimmering enticingly on her fair skin.
"Can you resist?" Kurenai rolled her eyes at him and asked.
"I think I can. If you don't believe me, try it." Kitazawa said seriously.
"I'm not trying it." Kurenai snorted softly and said,
"You have no credibility when it comes to these things." After speaking, she turned and walked towards the bathroom, leaving Kitazawa with a beautiful back.
Kitazawa smiled faintly. He continued writing the new Ninjutsu for Inuzuka Kiba.
He named this Ninjutsu, modified from Heavenly Foot of Pain, "War Stomp." For a Three-Headed Hellhound, it was quite fitting.
When he was almost done writing, Kurenai emerged from the bathroom. She had changed into a dark red nightgown, and her long black hair was tied up.
"What are you writing?" Kurenai walked up to Kitazawa and sat on his lap.
"Ninjutsu for Kiba." Kitazawa's left arm wrapped around her waist, and his right hand reached for her skirt hem.
Kurenai's breath hitched. She could feel Kitazawa's warm hand brushing against her abdomen.
"We still have to eat later." Kurenai's body softened, and she reminded him.
"See, you're overthinking again." Kitazawa lowered his head and blew a breath into her ear.
"You're the one who's being handsy!" Kurenai, blushing with embarrassment, raised her hand and elbowed him in the chest.
But the next second, she felt a pang in her chest, her face flushed, and her breathing became rapid.
"What are we eating tonight?" Kitazawa's expression remained unchanged as he felt the warmth overflowing from his fingertips.
Because Kurenai had just showered, she was only wearing a nightgown. For Kitazawa, it was practically defenseless.
"I… I'll go cook." Kurenai leaned into Kitazawa's arms.
She slightly raised her chin, her ruby-like eyes looking at him.
"Let's cook together." Kitazawa suddenly had a good idea.
"Together?" A look of confusion appeared on Kurenai's face.
"Hold on tight, don't fall." Kitazawa stood up with her in his arms, then released his hands.
Kurenai grunted, followed by a shock flashing in her pupils. Her feet suddenly hanging in the air made her feel uncomfortable all over.
Kurenai instinctively wrapped her arms around Kitazawa's neck. It took several seconds for her to recover from her state of shock.
"Pervert!" Kurenai cursed with some annoyance.
Kitazawa raised an eyebrow, said nothing, and simply took two steps forward. Kurenai's eyes immediately became hazy, and she instinctively bit her rosy lips.
"Who's the pervert now?" Kitazawa cupped her rounded buttocks, a slight smirk on his lips, and asked.
"It's all your fault!" Kurenai came to her senses, rolled her eyes, and said defiantly.
"All that's left of you is a tough mouth." Kitazawa couldn't help but smile and said.
He walked towards the kitchen. But when they reached the doorway, Kurenai suddenly straightened up.
She wrapped her hands around Kitazawa's head and pressed him into her embrace.
"If you do that, I won't be able to see… mmm mmm." Kitazawa's mouth was blocked.
At this point, he couldn't say anything more. As for dinner, skipping one meal wasn't a big problem for a Ninja. And they weren't like they hadn't eaten anything. At least Kitazawa had some fruit.
It was another sleepless night.
---
A new day — Wednesday.
Only one day remained until the monthly exam. Kitazawa heard a knock on the door while he was still sleeping.
He opened his eyes and checked the time on the wall, realizing it was already half past eight.
Normally, he would most likely be on his way to the Ninja Academy. But today, he stayed in bed a little longer with Kurenai.
"You go back to sleep." Kitazawa noticed Kurenai's slightly trembling eyelashes, so he spoke.
"Mmm." Kurenai, sore and weak all over, responded and fell back into a deep sleep.
She had paid a heavy price for her stubbornness last night. After all, the 70% Senju bloodline wasn't for nothing.
Kitazawa got out of bed, changed his clothes, and went to the door. He opened the door, a look of surprise on his face.
"Itachi, why are you coming to see me so early in the morning?" Kitazawa asked curiously.
"There's something I wanted to ask you." Itachi had originally intended to go to Tsunade, but after thinking it over, he came to Kitazawa first.
"What is it?" Kitazawa was slightly puzzled.
Did Uchiha Obito go to Itachi? But that was impossible.
Even with Hashirama cells, such severe injuries as a severed arm and a stabbed heart couldn't heal in a short time.
"Yesterday, Hokage-sama ordered the Anbu to search Konoha Village for a person with a severed arm." Itachi slowly said, "But he gave me another mission, to go to Sunagakure."
Kitazawa raised an eyebrow, understanding. The person with the severed arm was naturally Uchiha Obito.
As for why Itachi was transferred away and not allowed to participate, was it because of the Sharingan and Wood Release?
Was Hiruzen Sarutobi suspicious of cooperation between the Uchiha Clan and Danzo Shimura? Or suspicious that Obito was related to the Uchiha Clan?
Kitazawa could understand Hiruzen Sarutobi's actions. After all, whether the Sharingan is transplanted or natural, it originates from the Uchiha Clan.
If it's transplanted, that's one thing. But if it's natural, Hiruzen would naturally assume the Uchiha Clan was involved.
How to put it? Such suspicion is only human nature.
However, Hiruzen would never have imagined that the mysterious masked man was Uchiha Obito, who was considered a war hero and thought to be dead.
Coupled with Kamui, the Anbu's investigation was ultimately futile.
"I want to know if something happened yesterday? And if it's related to the Uchiha Clan?" Itachi asked with some concern.
His greatest fear was a conflict between Konoha Village and the Uchiha Clan. The situation had been so promising because of Tsunade, but then it suddenly took a turn for the worse yesterday.
"I actually know a bit about this matter." Kitazawa pondered for a moment, then asked,
"Have you ever seen a Ninja with a Sharingan who isn't from the Uchiha Clan?"
Itachi was taken aback. His first thought was Kakashi. But it was clear that Kakashi couldn't have caused the Anbu to mobilize en masse.
Just then, a masked man appeared in Itachi's mind. A long time ago, he encountered a mysterious masked man while on a mission.
This mysterious masked man killed his teammates but spared him after witnessing him activate his Sharingan.
After activating his Sharingan, Itachi sensed a similar aura from him. However, he had searched through the Uchiha Clan's family tree but couldn't find anyone corresponding to him.
"Yes, I have encountered one." Itachi truthfully described the characteristics of the mysterious masked man.
"It seems to be the same person." Kitazawa feigned surprise and said, "He appeared in Konoha Village last night, and Kakashi and I broke one of his arms."
"No wonder." Itachi immediately guessed why Hiruzen had avoided him.
He must have believed that the mysterious masked man was connected to the Uchiha Clan. But in reality, there was no connection, or if there was, it was an adversarial one.
Suddenly, Itachi was filled with killing intent towards the mysterious masked man. Not only did he kill his teammates, but he also came to Konoha Village to ruin the Uchiha Clan's hard-won situation; he truly deserved to die!
Kitazawa noticed the change in his expression.
He had actually done it on purpose. It was to make Itachi resent Uchiha Obito even more.
This way, there would be no possibility of cooperation like in the original story. It was likely that whenever Itachi saw Obito in the future, he would only have one thought: to eliminate him.
"What should I do now?" Itachi quickly asked.
"Do what you're supposed to do." Kitazawa smiled and said,
"Only when the Anbu thoroughly investigates can the Uchiha's suspicions be cleared."
"I understand, thank you." Itachi secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
"Let's talk as we walk." Kitazawa put on his shoes and said, "I'll also tell you about the mysterious masked man's Ninjutsu information."
Given Itachi's combat talent, if he knew Obito's information in advance, it would be very interesting if they actually met.
"Okay." Itachi nodded.
"He possesses Space-Time Ninjutsu." Kitazawa began to speak of Kamui.
Of course, he didn't directly say the word Kamui.
The more Itachi listened, the more it sounded like Mangekyo Sharingan. How could there be a Mangekyo Sharingan wielder wandering outside?
But why only one ability? Was the other eye not a Mangekyo Sharingan? Or did he not use the other ability?
"Besides that, he also knows Wood Release." Kitazawa paused and said.
"Wood Release?" An expression of surprise appeared on Itachi's face.
Wood Release again, and Sharingan again — what was going on? He now understood even more why Hiruzen was making such a big fuss. After all, Wood Release held a special significance for Konoha Village.
And a Ninja with a Sharingan possessing Wood Release — no matter how one thought about it, there had to be a great secret involved.
"I understand. Next time I encounter him, I will try my best to apprehend him." Itachi said in a deep voice.
Although the mysterious masked man was powerful, he was no slouch either. That inherent pride and confidence unconsciously flowed out of him.
Kitazawa was not surprised. From the original story, Itachi was incredibly arrogant.
Whether it was the Uchiha Clan massacre or his handling of Uchiha Sasuke, from beginning to end, his thought was to solve all problems by himself.
In any case, Kitazawa's goal had been achieved. Obito was severely injured and would be unable to return to Konoha Village for a short period.
And Itachi, because he had ruined the Uchiha Clan's favorable situation, regarded him as an enemy. The Uchiha Clan massacre would no longer have any possibility of occurring.
"Do not disclose what I told you today to a second person." Kitazawa reminded him.
"I understand," Itachi said with a serious expression.
Involving Wood Release and Sharingan, it was undoubtedly Konoha Village's highest secret. Kitazawa's telling him already involved considerable risk.
Of course, Itachi believed this was Tsunade's instruction.
"Alright then, I'm going to class. See you next time." Kitazawa waved his hand and said.
Itachi nodded and disappeared from the spot.
Kitazawa arrived at his office.
Because of Itachi's delay, he hadn't eaten breakfast yet, so he planned to freeload a meal. As for whose meal to freeload, it was naturally Hinata's.
"Kitazawa-sensei?" Hinata, who was eating breakfast, saw him and immediately showed a surprised expression.
"Good morning, Hinata." Kitazawa walked over and sat across from her.
Hinata, as usual, had the coffee table covered with various breakfast items.
"It tastes good." Kitazawa glanced at it, picked up a rice ball, took a bite, and said.
"As long as Kitazawa-sensei likes it." Hinata's lips curved slightly upward upon hearing his words.
"Did you make it?" Kitazawa asked with a smile.
"Mm." Hinata nodded.
"I feel like in less than two years, your cooking skills will surpass mine." Kitazawa praised, "You might have a lot of talent for cooking."
"I'm taking advantage of the Byakugan," Hinata said shyly.
"You cook with your Byakugan activated?" Kitazawa asked with some surprise.
"The Byakugan sees things more clearly." Hinata noticed Kitazawa's expression and said with a slight blush.
Actually, she discovered the advantage of cooking with the Byakugan during Kitazawa's birthday barbecue last time.
"That logic is indeed sound." Kitazawa paused and said, "That's good, it can also be a form of Byakugan training."
Hinata breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this.
"Have you learned your Gentle Fist: Eighty Trigrams Thirty-Two Palms?" Kitazawa picked up another rice ball.
He took a bite and discovered it contained pork. The previous rice ball had salmon.
"Last night was the first time I continuously performed all thirty-two palms!" Hinata's eyes suddenly lit up as she looked at Kitazawa.
"You did very well." Kitazawa looked at her expectant expression and said with a smile.
After receiving the praise she desired, Hinata seemed to be in a very good mood, opening her mouth to take a big bite of her rice ball.
After breakfast, the two of them went to the Training Ground.
Nine AM.
The Genius Class training officially began.
Today, Kitazawa did not practice Earth Release: Headhunter Jutsu, but instead focused on learning Konoha Style Swordsmanship. More precisely, Konoha Style: Willow.
Although Konoha Style: Willow was an S-rank sword technique, it wasn't that difficult for him. The reason was that he was very skilled in genjutsu.
Now, after so long of secretly learning, it was finally coming to an end.
[Current Mission: Learn Konoha Style Swordsmanship.]
[Mission Reward: Dance of the Crescent Moon.]
[Host has completed the mission, reward issued.]
In the afternoon, three lines of text appeared before Kitazawa's eyes. This meant he had learned Konoha Style: Willow.
Kitazawa immediately found a secluded spot.
Dance of the Crescent Moon was an A-rank sword technique, also part of Konoha Style Swordsmanship. But like Konoha Style: Willow, it wasn't a pure sword technique; it incorporated the Shadow Clone Technique.
Kitazawa looked at a tree not far away.
Dance of the Crescent Moon! Two Shadow Clones appeared, and together with him, they launched an attack from the left, top, and right directions.
Three zangetsu landed on the tree, instantly leaving three deep sword marks. If it landed on a Ninja, it would be enough to divide him into three parts.
However, if the target was too strong, it wouldn't have much effect.
