Chapter 426 - Kamui|Tenseigan

"Who was the one who saved Uchiha Obito?" Tsunade asked thoughtfully, her brows slightly furrowed.

"And why does he possess Wood Release? Under normal circumstances, Ninjas of the Uchiha Clan do not awaken Wood Release."

Sarutobi Hiruzen's gaze sharpened as a thought surfaced in his mind.

"Could it be Danzo?"

Aside from a natural awakening, Wood Release could only be obtained through the transplantation of Hashirama cells.

Although Uchiha Obito's Wood Release had displayed considerable power, it was far inferior to Kitazawa's.

That alone proved it was not a natural awakening.

"It has nothing to do with Danzo." Kitazawa shook his head, clearing him of suspicion.

"If it wasn't Danzo, could it really have been Uchiha Madara?" Jiraiya recalled Uchiha Obito claiming to be Uchiha Madara and couldn't help but ask.

"Impossible!" Sarutobi Hiruzen rejected the idea immediately. "It is impossible for Uchiha Madara to have escaped from the hands of the First Hokage!"

"Izanagi," Kitazawa spoke calmly, offering a single reminder.

"What?" Sarutobi Hiruzen, Jiraiya, and Tsunade all revealed surprised expressions.

Izanagi was the ultimate forbidden ocular jutsu of the Uchiha Clan.

Though it had long been prohibited, its name still carried weight among the older generation.

"No wonder…" Tsunade's eyes flickered with realization. "If Uchiha Madara had planned everything from the beginning, then it all makes sense."

Jiraiya and Sarutobi Hiruzen nodded one after another.

After all, that was Uchiha Madara.

A legendary powerhouse who had stood alongside Senju Hashirama to end the chaotic Warring States Era.

"The situation unfolded like this."

Kitazawa began with Uchiha Madara's fake death and explained everything step by step, all the way to the Akatsuki Organization's Eye of the Moon Plan.

However, he deliberately did not mention Black Zetsu or Ōtsutsuki Kaguya. The truth behind them was too shocking.

Moreover, revealing it now would serve no purpose except to increase unnecessary anxiety and fear.

"As expected of Uchiha Madara… to actually awaken the legendary Rinnegan." Jiraiya sighed in astonishment.

"What's even more terrifying is that he laid out his plans for so many years, attempting to revive himself and dominate the Ninja World."

Sarutobi Hiruzen spoke with lingering fear still in his expression.

In his understanding, the purpose of the Eye of the Moon Plan was simple: absolute control.

If every living being in the Ninja World were trapped within Uchiha Madara's Genjutsu, they would all become puppets under his rule.

"Fortunately, Kitazawa is here." Tsunade exhaled slowly, feeling a trace of relief.

If not for Kitazawa's existence, the Akatsuki Organization would likely have gathered all nine Tailed Beasts by now.

Once Uchiha Madara was resurrected and became the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki, the Ninja World would have had no power left to resist.

"Kitazawa is now the second God of Shinobi," Jiraiya muttered with emotion.

Yet at the same time, he felt a faint sense of confusion.

Logically speaking, an existence like Uchiha Madara—someone who threatened the balance of the entire Ninja World—should have been resolved by the Child of Prophecy.

But why had it been Kitazawa instead?

"That is the current situation." Kitazawa put away Uchiha Obito's body and spoke in a calm tone.

"I suggest that this matter not be disclosed externally, to avoid affecting Konoha's internal stability."

Sarutobi Hiruzen and the others immediately understood what he meant.

Kitazawa was referring to Kakashi… and to the Uchiha Clan.

If the truth were announced—that the masterminds behind the Nine-Tails Rampage and the Akatsuki Organization were Uchiha Madara and Uchiha Obito—

Then the political implications would be severe.

Especially for the Uchiha Clan.

Distrust would inevitably spread among the villagers and the Konoha Ninjas. There was no helping it.

Both Uchiha Madara and Uchiha Obito carried the Uchiha name. Who could guarantee that a third would not appear in the future?

"I agree with your suggestion." Sarutobi Hiruzen nodded seriously.

If he were still Hokage, he would certainly take precautionary measures against the Uchiha Clan.

But now, it was Kitazawa who was the Hokage.

With his strength alone, he could suppress the entire Uchiha Clan if necessary.

"Then let us announce to the outside world that the Akatsuki Organization was defeated by Konoha Village, and all its members have been captured."

Kitazawa said with a faint chuckle.

"What about the seven Tailed Beasts?" Jiraiya suddenly remembered something important. "Are you planning to return them to the other hidden villages?"

"We should demand compensation." Sarutobi Hiruzen replied with a small smile.

Three Great Ninja Wars had already been fought. Between the major hidden villages, blood feuds and grudges ran deep.

There was no reason to return the Tailed Beasts without extracting a price.

"And if they refuse to pay?" Kitazawa asked calmly.

"The Tailed Beasts are strategic weapons and sacred taboos of each village. They will pay." Sarutobi Hiruzen spoke with certainty.

"However, we must know when to stop." Jiraiya's voice turned heavy.

"If our demands provoke the Fourth Great Ninja War, then countless lives will be lost. The losses may outweigh the gains."

Kitazawa raised an eyebrow but said nothing further. He knew that arguments alone would not change their way of thinking.

If necessary, he would simply allow the other villages to trigger the Fourth Great Ninja War.

Tsunade glanced at him subtly.

Based on her understanding of Kitazawa, he would not obediently return the Tailed Beasts without extracting something significant.

Would he extort them heavily? Or would he push matters toward war?

"The discussion is over." Tsunade waved her hand. "I'm retired now. Whatever you decide, it's your responsibility."

No matter what path Kitazawa chose, it no longer concerned her as the former Hokage.

"I'm also retired." Sarutobi Hiruzen chuckled lightly. "I'll return to teaching at the Ninja Academy. You young people can handle the rest."

He departed decisively, just like Tsunade.

"It seems there's nothing left for me to do either." Jiraiya smiled faintly. "Until next time."

With a flicker of movement, he vanished from the spot.

He intended to return to Mount Myōboku. There were things he needed to ask the Great Toad Sage.

"They sure ran fast," Shizune remarked with a trace of sarcasm.

"Let's go." Kitazawa smiled faintly. "There's still quite a bit of cleanup work waiting for us."

With that, he activated the Flying Thunder God Technique and returned to the Hokage Building together with Shizune and Kurenai.

"You two talk. I'm going back to my office." Kurenai spoke with great self-awareness before leaving.

After all, she was in charge of the Film and Television Department. This kind of post-battle cleanup had nothing to do with her responsibilities.

"Shizune-senpai." Kitazawa's expression turned serious.

"Immediately have the Ninjas from the Engineering Department head out and restore the battlefield site."

"Understood," Shizune responded at once.

"Keep the captured Akatsuki members imprisoned for now. When the time is right, have Nagato go and persuade them to surrender."

Kitazawa paused briefly before continuing. "If they are unwilling to join the Anbu, execute them."

The members recruited by the Akatsuki were, for the most part, rogue Ninjas who killed without hesitation.

If they could not be used by Konoha, there was no reason to let them continue living.

"What arrangements are you making for Nagato?" Shizune nodded and asked further.

"Have him take charge of the Anbu." Kitazawa considered for a moment before speaking. "With him positioned there, I can also keep an eye on him."

"I understand. I'll take care of it right away." Shizune turned and left.

The office door closed softly.

Only then did Kitazawa let out a slow breath.

Now, he finally had the time to examine the system tasks he had completed.

[Current Task: Capture or Kill Uchiha Obito.]

[Task Reward: Kamui.]

[Host has completed the task. Reward issued.]

A faint smile appeared on Kitazawa's face.

The reward this time was exceptionally generous, Dual Kamui.

Although both abilities were called Kamui, their functions were fundamentally different.

The Kamui of the left eye originated from Kakashi's Mangekyo Sharingan.

Its ability allowed the user to forcibly twist off a distant target and send it into another dimension.

At the same time, it enabled teleportation into and out of the Kamui dimension.

In the original story, Kakashi had used Kamui to tear off Deidara's arm and even warp away part of the Gedo Mazo.

The Kamui of the right eye came from Uchiha Obito's Mangekyo Sharingan. Its most terrifying effect was intangibility.

In essence, it transported parts of the user's body into the Kamui dimension, causing incoming attacks to pass through harmlessly.

In addition, it allowed targets to be absorbed into the Kamui dimension and even permitted the storage of ninja tools for later use.

The drawbacks were that it could only be maintained for five minutes at a time and that the user had to materialize when launching an attack.

However, compared to its overwhelming advantages, those weaknesses were almost negligible.

Unless one encountered an opponent who understood space-time Ninjutsu, Kamui allowed the user to move freely and escape at will.

But Dual Kamui elevated everything to an entirely different level.

First, the speed of teleportation—both self-transport and target transfer—would increase significantly.

Second, it allowed the continuous opening of spatial portals, granting access to other dimensions at will.

The most exaggerated aspect was that Dual Kamui could even contend against Ōtsutsuki Kaguya herself.

Kitazawa suppressed the impulse to immediately test this power. There were still two more system rewards waiting.

[Current Task: Incorporate the Akatsuki Organization into Konoha Village.]

[Task Reward: 50% Ōtsutsuki Clan Bloodline.]

[Host has completed the task. Reward issued.]

[Current Task: Capture Black Zetsu.]

[Task Reward: 40% Ōtsutsuki Clan Bloodline.]

[Host has completed the task. Reward issued.]

As the six lines of text appeared before him, Kitazawa instantly felt the Chakra within his body surge violently.

The sudden explosion of Chakra could no longer be measured in an ordinary way. It felt endless and boundless like an ocean without shores.

Kitazawa subconsciously clenched his fist.

His current Chakra reserves were already comparable to those of the Sage of Six Paths' brother—Ōtsutsuki Hamura.

[Host's Ōtsutsuki Clan bloodline has reached 100%. Byakugan has evolved into Tenseigan.]

Kitazawa's eyes widened slightly.

Just as he had anticipated.

In the original story, the Tenseigan was formed through the fusion of Ōtsutsuki Clan Chakra and the Byakugan of the Hyuga Clan.

Now that both conditions were fulfilled, its awakening was only natural.

A torrent of information poured into his mind. The Tenseigan stood on the same level as the Rinnegan.

Its abilities were numerous and overwhelmingly powerful.

For example, it granted control over attractive and repulsive forces.

It allowed the creation of spirit orbs capable of restraining and manipulating targets. It enabled the summoning of the Ōtsutsuki Hamura stone statue.

It could even grant life to puppets.

But above all, the most powerful ability was the Tenseigan Chakra Mode.

In that state, one could control prayer beads similar to Truth-Seeking Orbs and wield Yin-Yang Release techniques freely.

Such as Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion. Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion.

Their destructive power was sufficient to split the moon itself.

Kitazawa immediately activated the Tenseigan. In an instant, his perception expanded outward.

He sensed the Ōtsutsuki Hamura stone statue resting upon the moon and beyond it, the Great Tenseigan.

There were two types of Tenseigan.

One was like his own.

The other was formed by gathering the ocular power of countless Byakugan together to create a massive Great Tenseigan.

The descendants of Ōtsutsuki Hamura, who lived on the moon, had once been divided into branch and main families.

The branch family had gathered the entire clan's Byakugan to form the Great Tenseigan and used it to wipe out the main family.

But that victory had come at a terrible cost.

In the end, only Ōtsutsuki Toneri remained.

Kitazawa rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

Now that he possessed both the Rinnegan and the Tenseigan, dealing with Ōtsutsuki Toneri would be effortless.

"I can take a trip to the moon in a few days." His gaze sharpened slightly.

His plan was simple: before the Fourth Great Ninja War erupted, he would have Hinata Hyuga awaken the Tenseigan.

When that time came, she would step onto the battlefield not as a supporting role but as a pillar of strength in her own right.

And with the Tenseigan, she would carve her name into history.

Kitazawa stood up and directly activated Kamui.

In the next instant, space twisted into a vortex, and his figure vanished from the Hokage Office.

A heartbeat later, he appeared within the Forest of Death.

The surroundings were quiet. The massive traces left behind by the earlier battle still remained—cracked earth, shattered trees, and lingering Chakra fluctuations that had yet to fully dissipate.

Kitazawa immediately switched his eyes to the Tenseigan. A pale azure radiance replaced the Byakugan.

He silently recited in his heart—Tenseigan Chakra Mode.

His body slowly rose from the ground. At the same time, green Chakra surged outward, wrapping around him like a living cloak.

The Chakra flickered and flowed, forming a brilliant aura that seemed both sacred and destructive.

Kitazawa extended his hand.

A green Chakra Sphere condensed in his palm. The sphere rotated gently, emitting a faint humming sound.

In the original story, Ōtsutsuki Toneri had used this very Chakra Sphere to control the bodies and wills of others.

It could seize control directly, overriding the target's consciousness.

There was no exaggeration in saying that once struck by this Chakra Sphere, a person would become nothing more than a puppet—a walking corpse.

Kitazawa observed it quietly for a moment. After brief consideration, he dispersed the Chakra Sphere.

There were no targets nearby to test its control ability on. There was no need to waste Chakra unnecessarily.

Kitazawa continued experimenting with the Tenseigan's capabilities.

He tested the range of attractive and repulsive force control. He tested the sensitivity of his perception.

He felt the flow of Yin-Yang Release circulating naturally through his body.

Everything functioned smoothly.

The power felt familiar, as though it had always belonged to him.

Meanwhile—

Konoha Village had already erupted into commotion.

The appearance of the Gedo Mazo and the thousand-armed wood Kannon statue had been far too shocking.

They were so enormous that every villager and Ninja within Konoha could clearly see them towering in the distance.

At first, panic spread.

People did not know what was happening. Some even believed another war had begun.

But soon, ANBU units moved quickly through the streets, spreading the news.

Kitazawa had defeated the Akatsuki Organization. The crisis was over. Almost instantly, the mood of the village shifted.

Cheers erupted.

Excitement spread like wildfire.

To the civilians, it felt as though a catastrophe had been averted by their Hokage alone.

Shops reopened. Fireworks were prepared. The entire village celebrated Kitazawa's victory as though it were New Year's Day.

However, while some rejoiced, others felt dread.

Konoha Village was never short of spies.

Agents from various hidden villages had also witnessed the enormous wooden statue and the Gedo Mazo.

After their initial shock, they immediately dispatched urgent intelligence reports.

Carrier hawks flew into the sky.

Encoded messages were transmitted.

By afternoon, the entire Ninja World was in turmoil.

---

In the Raikage's office within the Hidden Cloud Village.

The Fourth Raikage sat at the head of the room.

Mabui stood nearby.

Dodai, Samui, and several other Jonin were gathered together.

Before them, an ANBU Ninja finished recounting the intelligence regarding the battle between Kitazawa and Nagato.

The report lacked detailed breakdowns of each technique, but the overall picture was clear enough.

Every face in the room darkened. Shock was visible in their eyes.

"This is a second Senju Hashirama," Mabui spoke solemnly.

The Fourth Raikage remained silent for a long moment, then slowly nodded.

He had always been proud of his strength. Lawless. Fearless. He respected neither heaven nor earth.

Yet now, he had no choice but to acknowledge reality.

Not long ago, he had suffered a complete defeat at Nagato's hands.

Killer Bee and Nii Yugito had both been captured. His pride had been shattered.

And according to this intelligence, Nagato had not even displayed his full strength during that battle.

That monstrous Gedo Mazo, he had never seen it then.

Now Kitazawa had defeated Nagato entirely. Which meant Kitazawa could defeat him as well.

In other words, no Ninja in the entire Hidden Cloud Village could stand against Kitazawa.

"What should we do now?" Samui broke the silence.

"We've lost two Jinchuriki. Our overall strength has declined significantly. If we confront Konoha head-on, we have no chance."

A shadow of grief passed through Mabui's eyes.

She and Nii Yugito had grown up together. Killer Bee was also someone she knew well.

"Based on Konoha's past conduct, negotiation should be possible." Mabui steadied herself.

"We can attempt a trade. If negotiations fail, we can unite with the other hidden villages and apply pressure."

"Any other suggestions?" The Fourth Raikage looked at Dodai and the others.

They all shook their heads helplessly.

"Mabui. Contact Konoha immediately. Determine their stance."

"Yes, Raikage-sama."

"And prepare for battle—just in case."

The room grew heavy. In previous Great Ninja Wars, the Hidden Cloud had been confident.

This time, even survival felt uncertain.

---

In the Tsuchikage Building of Iwagakure.

"If Grandpa hadn't forced you back, you'd be Konoha's prisoner right now." Kurotsuchi glanced sideways at Deidara.

Deidara crossed his arms. "This Kitazawa… he's terrifying."

For someone who prided himself on fearlessness, his lingering fear was obvious. He knew Nagato's strength.

He had not expected Nagato to lose so decisively.

"Judging by his display, he's another Senju Hashirama." Ōnoki rubbed his temples.

His head throbbed.

He did not know Hashirama's strength firsthand, but he had witnessed Uchiha Madara's.

Long ago, Madara alone had nearly killed both him and the Second Tsuchikage, Mu.

"Prepare for both outcomes." Ōnoki looked at Kitsuchi. "Send envoys to Konoha. At the same time, contact the other hidden villages."

---

In the Mizukage's office of the Hidden Mist Village.

"Are you certain this intelligence is accurate?" Mei Terumī asked instinctively.

"It is." The ANBU Ninja bowed. "Many witnesses saw it personally."

Mei Terumī clenched her fists. How could Kitazawa's strength have grown so rapidly?

He had now defeated Nagato, a wielder of the Rinnegan. There was likely no one else in the entire Ninja World capable of challenging him.

"Fortunately, we are allied with Konoha," Ao spoke carefully. "And we previously traded to reclaim the Six-Tails."

Mei Terumī exhaled slowly. "We must send a delegation to Konoha again."

"This time, we'll have to pay a considerable price."

She had no desire for war. The Hidden Mist had only recently begun recovering from the era of the Bloody Mist.

Another conflict would devastate them.

"Yes, Mizukage-sama." Ao departed.

Mei Terumī stared out the window. "I hope it goes smoothly."

Since becoming Mizukage, she had not known a single peaceful day.

---

In the Kazekage's office in Sunagakure.

"That damnable Kitazawa, he doesn't keep his word!" Chiyo's voice carried clear dissatisfaction.

According to Sunagakure's intelligence, Gaara had already recovered long ago.

Yet every attempt they made to contact Konoha and request his return had received no reply. Just silence.

"What's even more troublesome now is that Kitazawa defeated the Akatsuki Organization," Rasa spoke slowly, his expression distracted and heavy.

If the intelligence was accurate, then with Kitazawa's current strength, he could likely flatten Sunagakure alone.

The thought alone made his chest feel tight.

"How could such a powerful person appear in Konoha?" Ebizo muttered, feeling the situation was utterly absurd.

Konoha already had Sarutobi Hiruzen, Tsunade, and Jiraiya. Now there was also this Kitazawa.

"Now it's not just a problem with Kitazawa." Chiyo sighed wearily.

"There's also Sarutobi Hiruzen, Tsunade, Jiraiya, and a whole host of other experts." She paused, then added in a tired tone,

"Even Kitazawa's students are powerful, and they're only eleven or twelve years old."

The words fell. The Kazekage's office sank into complete silence.

No one refuted her. Because it was the truth.

In the end, Rasa, Chiyo, and the others arrived at the same conclusion as the Hidden Cloud and Iwagakure.

First, attempt a trade. Then observe the situation carefully. If necessary, unite with the other hidden villages.

The sun gradually set in the west. Golden light stretched across the desert.

---

In Konoha Village.

Kitazawa glanced at the time.

After spending the entire afternoon testing the Double Kamui and the Tenseigan, he had already mastered both abilities.

Without delay, he headed toward Konoha Hospital. He soon arrived outside Nagato's hospital room.

After knocking lightly, he pushed the door open and walked in.

"Kitazawa." Konan stood up instinctively upon seeing him.

"Nagato, how is your body?" Kitazawa nodded toward Konan, then looked at Nagato lying on the hospital bed.

"Without the Gedo Mazo, my body has been slowly recovering." Nagato took a deep breath.

His complexion was still pale, but far better than before.

After a brief hesitation, he asked, "Was it you who took control of the Gedo Mazo?"

Konan also looked at Kitazawa curiously. She understood that only a Rinnegan wielder could summon or control the Gedo Mazo.

Kitazawa thought for a moment.

Then he directly activated the Rinnegan. His pupils shifted, and ripple-patterned eyes appeared.

"Is it really the Rinnegan?" Nagato's eyes widened abruptly.

Konan also showed a shocked expression.

"You… how do you have the Rinnegan?" Nagato asked instinctively.

"I awakened it myself," Kitazawa replied calmly.

He did not elaborate. Instead, he changed the subject. "I plan to have you both join the Anbu. Do you have any thoughts on that?"

"I'm fine with anything," Konan answered first.

She had already made up her mind. Wherever Kitazawa went, she would follow.

"The Anbu?" Nagato considered for a moment. "What do you want us to do?"

"Monitor the Ninja World and maintain peace." Kitazawa's answer was simple.

Nagato was stunned briefly. After a moment of silence, he agreed.

"Konan can start work tomorrow." Kitazawa added, "Nagato, you can rest for a couple more days."

"I'll start by learning Edo Tensei," Nagato said quietly.

What he urgently wanted now was the truth about his parents' deaths.

"That's fine." Kitazawa nodded. Then he asked, "Do you have any requirements for your residence?"

"None," Nagato answered indifferently. "We can live anywhere."

"Then stay in the Anbu dormitory." Kitazawa took out two keys and handed them over. "The room numbers are on the keys."

"Thank you." Konan accepted the keys.

When she glanced at the number engraved on hers, her eyes flickered slightly.

It was the same room she had once used during her brief time undercover. A faint warmth rose in her heart.

"Kitazawa." Nagato suddenly spoke again. "I hope you can protect the Hidden Rain Village."

"I will send Lord Jiraiya there," Kitazawa replied after brief consideration.

"Thank you." Upon hearing Jiraiya's name, Nagato's tense expression softened.

Kitazawa felt a trace of irony in his heart. In the original timeline, Jiraiya died in the Hidden Rain Village.

Now, he would return there as its protector. Fate truly had a strange sense of humor.

"Then I'll be going. See you tomorrow." Kitazawa turned and left the hospital room.

As he walked, his thoughts shifted toward the final spoils of this battle—The seven Tailed Beasts.

Kitazawa had no interest in becoming the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki. There was no need to have the Gedo Mazo devour all nine Tailed Beasts.

After all, he had the system. Sooner or later, his strength would surpass even that of a Ten-Tails Jinchuriki.

"Should I distribute them?" Kitazawa rubbed his chin.

To properly utilize a Tailed Beast, it had to be sealed inside a Jinchuriki. The first name that came to mind was Kakashi.

If Kakashi did not become a Jinchuriki, he would not be able to maintain Dual Mangekyo Sharingan.

His Chakra reserves simply weren't enough.

Besides Kakashi, there was Sasuke.

Kitazawa had once considered giving him the Yin Kurama. But after thinking it through, that would be wasteful.

Sasuke could not harmonize with Yin Kurama the way Naruto could.

It would be better to give him another Tailed Beast. That would solve his Chakra deficiency.

As for the growth of his strength, it would ultimately rely on the Rinnegan.

In addition, his other students could also become Jinchuriki.
