Chapter 194 - Ripples Across Realms.

That single move by Akira sent ripples spreading through all realms.

Rias Gremory was halfway through a book when her phone vibrated.

She glanced at the screen casually.

Then froze.

"…What?"

She stood up so abruptly that her chair scraped loudly against the floor. Her eyes locked onto the glowing screen in her hand.

Sirius Lucen Starlight — In a Relationship

"That's impossible…" she muttered. "Is his account hacked? But… who could even hack him?"

Akeno, seated nearby with a teacup in hand, looked up in surprise.

"Ara~? Rias, what's wrong?"

Rias went silent for a moment. Then she spoke, her voice flat and decisive.

"Akeno. We're going to Tokyo."

Akeno blinked. "Eh? Why so suddenly?"

Rias turned toward her, crimson eyes sharp and unwavering.

"Prepare immediately," she said. "We need to get there, now."

Somewhere else, Sona Sitri also stared at her phone in stunned silence.

"…Him?"

Her fingers tightened slightly around the device.

"In a relationship…?"

Before she could process the thought any further, the door to her room burst open.

"SO-CHAAAN!"

Serafall Leviathan rushed in at full speed, phone already raised in her hand. She shoved the screen toward her sister, eyes wide with disbelief.

"Did you see it?! That little brother of mine is DATING SOMEONE!"

Sona sighed deeply, pinching the bridge of her nose.

"Please lower your voice."

But Serafall wasn't listening.

"But who is she?!" she demanded. "Why didn't he tell me?! Is he being tricked?!"

Sona straightened, her expression firm. "Calm down, sister."

Serafall leaned closer, eyes burning with determination.

"I refuse. I have to get to the bottom of this."

And somewhere else.

Kuroka froze mid-scroll.

"…Nya?"

She stared at the screen.

Once.

Twice.

Then.

"…What the hell."

Her aura flared unconsciously, the pressure rippling outward.

Her teammates stiffened at once.

"Kuroka?" Vali asked, turning toward her. "Did something happen?"

She didn't answer.

Her gaze remained locked on the screen as she muttered under her breath, tail flicking violently.

"After all the hints I dropped…" she continued quietly, irritation seeping into every word, "he acted like he didn't care."

Slowly, she lifted her head, eyes sharpening dangerously.

"And now he's dating someone else?"

La Faye blinked, completely lost. "What are you talking about?"

Kuroka snapped her phone shut.

"…Unbelievable, nya."

In a mansion somewhere.

Sirzechs glanced at the update on his phone.

"…Hmm."

Grayfia, standing beside him, looked over his shoulder. "Is something wrong?"

Sirzechs smiled faintly, his expression calm and unreadable.

"No. Just…" He paused for a moment. "…an interesting development."

Elsewhere, Azazel leaned back lazily in his chair, his phone dangling loosely from his fingers.

"Oh?" He chuckled softly. "So that kid actually fell in love."

He scratched his head, amusement clear in his voice.

"Didn't see that coming."

In the heavens.

Michael read the notification quietly.

"…This is new."

A gentle smile crossed his face.

"He truly has learned to love."

After a brief pause, he added thoughtfully,

"…Perhaps we should send a gift."

In the human world.

Nakiri Senzaemon stared silently at the screen.

"…He's in a relationship."

The pressure in the room spiked instantly.

His eyes narrowed, sharp and calculating.

"…I must make my move soon."

Elsewhere, inside a government building.

A special agent rushed forward, his voice tight with urgency.

"Mr. President."

The president looked up. "Yes?"

The agent swallowed nervously before speaking.

"Mr. President… It's Code Pink."

The president frowned deeply.

"…That's not possible."

The agent straightened, fear evident in his posture.

"He updated it himself, sir."

Silence fell over the room.

Then, slowly, the president spoke.

"…Prepare a full briefing."

"Yes, sir."

As everyone moved into action, the president let out a low sigh.

"This is a delicate situation."

Governments across the world reacted in much the same way.

And not only them.

Across countless realms.

gods, angels, devils, and ancient beings that had watched the flow of history for eras beyond counting.

All felt it.

A single update.

A single line of text.

And the ripples spread everywhere.

Across different realms.

Confusion.

Amusement.

Unease.

"…That boy?"

"…He can love?"

"…Interesting…"

Whispers echoed through divine halls, infernal palaces, forgotten dimensions, and sealed domains long untouched by mortal affairs.

And yet.

Akira,

The boy who caused all of this chaos

didn't realize it at all.

He had only updated his status.

Akira had just finished updating his status when Erika stepped closer, peering over his shoulder to see what he was doing.

Her eyes landed on the screen.

"…You changed your relationship status."

She paused. "Wait, you have a Nexus account?"

Akira nodded casually and turned the screen toward her. "Yeah. I do. This is my account."

Displayed on the screen was a profile under his real name, Sirius Lucen Starlight, accompanied by a chibi Gundam profile picture.

Erika stared at it for a moment, then sighed in realization. "So that's the name you used. No wonder I couldn't find you."

After they had been separated, she had tried to search for him online. Again and again. No matter how long she looked, no matter how many variations she tried, she had never found his account.

She had never imagined he was using this name.

Akira scratched his cheek awkwardly. "Well… uh. Your brother knows about this account, you know. He even added me as a friend when I first created it."

Erika froze.

"…What?"

Akira nodded, as if it were no big deal. "Yeah. Though he didn't really contact me after that. And I couldn't contact any of you either, so we didn't talk much. But he knows this account."

Erika's expression darkened.

"I can't believe he didn't say anything," she muttered. "Even when he saw me searching for your account back then…"

She smiled.

But the smile didn't reach her eyes.

"…Seems like I have a few more things to talk to him about later."

Akira opened his mouth, as if to say something, but in the end, he didn't.

Before either of them could continue, his phone suddenly exploded with notifications.

The sound alone was enough to snap both of them out of it.

Akira looked down at the screen, only to see a barrage of alerts flooding in: congratulations, reactions, comments, and other messages flooding in.

all triggered by his newly updated relationship status.

Erika stared at the screen for a moment longer, then looked up at him.

"…How many followers do you even have?" she asked.

Akira glanced at the number and shrugged. "A lot, actually. Most of them are fans. I'm a light novel author. And… some other cool things. I never showed my face, though."

"I see," Erika said absently.

Then her eyes caught something else.

"…Wait," she said, leaning closer. "Why is The Gremory Large Enterprise commenting congratulations on this?"

She took his phone and scrolled a little more, her brows knitting together.

"And not just them. Why are so many powerful conglomerates commenting too…?"

Akira looked at the screen, completely unfazed. "Oh. Those are just devils and other supernatural powers controlling them. They're friendly with my family, so they're sending their wishes."

Erika muttered under her breath, "…I didn't know devils used social media."

Akira nodded seriously. "Well, ever since I created this app and made it accessible to all realms, more and more supernatural beings started using it."

Erika froze.

"…Wait," she said slowly. "You made this app?"

Akira nodded again, like he was talking about the weather.

"Yeah. I thought Facebook and Twitter were kind of boring. And I couldn't really use them properly when I stayed in the Underworld, so I made this app—Celestia Nexus. Now all realms are connected."

Erika stared at him.

For a long second, she said nothing.

Then she sighed.

"…Yeah. It's just you, alright."

After scrolling for a while, Akira suddenly looked at Erika and asked, almost casually,

"So… can I add your account? I want to tag you on the relationship post."

Erika answered instantly.

"No."

Akira blinked. "…Why?"

She stared at him like he'd just said something unbelievably stupid.

"Are you an idiot? With how many people are following you, we can't just do that. You didn't even put your own photo anywhere on that account, and I have tons of pictures on mine. That's a terrible idea."

She added sharply, "And it's not even under your real name."

Akira frowned slightly. "But Sirius is my real name, though."

Erika crossed her arms. "To me, you're Akira. And all your official certificates here say Akira."

Akira thought about it for a moment, then said, "How about I make a new account as Akira?"

Erika paused, then smiled.

"…Sure," she said. "Then we can add each other properly and update the relationship status."

Akira smiled back, visibly relieved.

"Okay. I'll make one now."

He pulled up the creation screen, then froze. He tried to think about what kind of account he wanted to make, but nothing came to mind. After a few seconds, he gave up with a small sigh.

"…Actually," he muttered, "I'll do it later. I need some time to think about what I want to do with it."

Erika nodded. "Sure."

Then she looked at him more carefully. Her shoulders relaxed, and a relieved expression appeared on her face.

"…You seem normal now," she said.

Akira blinked. "Huh? What do you mean?"

She hesitated for a moment before answering. "Well… you've been avoiding me for a while. You know, after the Muzan fight."

"Wait, I'm not avoiding you…" Akira started, then stopped.

He remembered the conversation he'd had with Selena on the moon. After a short pause, he continued more quietly.

"…It's just that I was holding all those emotions inside. So I started acting weird without realizing it. But now that I've told you everything… I feel normal again. I think."

Erika let out a soft sigh. "You know you can tell me anything, right?"

She looked at him seriously. "Next time, don't avoid me."

Akira nodded immediately. "I'm sorry. I won't do that again… I promise."

"Good," Erika said. "Because if you pull something like that again, I'll be really mad."

"I won't," Akira said quickly. "I promise."

Then he seemed to remember something. His expression shifted, and he scratched the back of his head.

"Actually… as an apology," he said, "I got something for you. Think of it as the first gift for my new girlfriend."

He reached into his inventory and took something out, holding it out toward her.

"Here," he said. "I got this for you."

Erika looked down at his hand and tilted her head in confusion.

"…A glass bead?" she asked.

"Yes," Akira said. "It's a clear glass bead."

It was perfectly transparent, beautiful, and shaped like a flawless sphere that seemed to catch and bend the light around it.

Erika looked at it closely. "…Hmm. I can feel some kind of magic from this. Is it a magic artifact?"

Akira shook his head lightly. "Not really. They're lunar impact glass. Formed when a meteorite impacts, melts lunar regolith, and quenches it instantly, basically, moon glass. I found them on the moon when I went for a walk last night and thought you might like it, so I brought one for you."

He hesitated for a moment before adding, "As for the magic, it's nothing fancy. They've been on the moon for a very long time, so they absorbed some magic naturally. It can calm your mind and make your magic casting smoother. Nothing special."

He looked at her expectantly. "So… do you like it?"

Erika stared at the glass bead for a few seconds, then nodded softly. "It looks beautiful."

Selena's voice echoed telepathically, dry and unimpressed. "Don't listen to him. These glass pieces are never this beautiful. The colors and shape are extremely rare. He spent an entire night searching for a perfect one for you."

Erika smiled warmly. "Thank you. I'll cherish it."

Akira smiled back. "Don't worry about it. So… how do you want to wear it? It would work well as jewelry, but I'm not sure what you'd prefer."

Erika thought for a moment. After hesitating a little, she said, "…How about a necklace?"

"Sure," Akira said immediately. "Let me make one for you."

He took the glass bead and used his magic. In an instant, a gold necklace formed in his hand. The chain coiled elegantly, and at its center was a dragon, wrapped around itself, holding the glass bead in its mouth.

Akira showed it to her. "Do you like it?"

Erika stared at it for half a second. "…Make it normal."

"This is normal," Akira said seriously. "Nothing too fancy."

She almost snapped, but stopped herself, took a breath, and said firmly, "No cool designs. Just make it simple. A really simple design, okay?"

Akira paused. "…Can you give me an idea?"

Erika thought for a bit. "Make it simple… and match my style."

"Okay," Akira said.

He used his magic again. This time, the necklace transformed into a bat-themed design, with a large bat holding the glass bead in its mouth.

Erika stared at it. "…Is that exactly how you see me?"

In the end, with Akira's advanced sense of aesthetics and several rounds of adjustments, they worked on it together until they finally settled on a design Erika genuinely liked.
