"Are you ready?" Tsunade asked me as I entered the pod.
"Yeah, I am ready, this is the third time you have asked this. Now, I trust you completely, you can do it, start now." I sighed helplessly.
"Okay, lie down, I am starting." Tsunade replied seriously.
I took a deep breath, and closed my eyes, soon, I felt the anaesthesia entering my body, I did not interfere with it, and let it take its effect, and soon my sense slipped away.
Now, I would like to narrate everything which happened next, but sadly, I was unconscious, so I don't know anything.
But, when I woke up, my body felt the best it ever had, a feeling of comfort all over.
This kind of powerup is good… I mean, can you imagine those cultivation novel MCs who basically get half dead every time they level up.
Though, maybe the biggest difference would be that I have Tsunade. I mean, having someone you can absolutely trust to perform such operations on you is extremely important.
Operations like this where you are unconscious completely helpless, at the mercy of the one operating on you, in this world of ninjas, is very risky, even if someone with intent doesn't kill you, they can just slap some ridiculous seal on you, and you are done for.
I took a deep breath, and felt my chakra, rotating it throughout my body.
"Holy hell…" My chakra had literally multiplied several times over, at least ten times over, my physical strength had increased tremendously, my senses boosted.
This was an all-out improvement, and unlike Tsunade, my chakra was actually one of my limiting factors, with so much chakra, I could unleash much more devastating attacks.
"Finally decided to wake up? I have a strange suspicion that the anaesthesia wore off long ago, and you were just too lazy to wake up. I mean, it's been like fifteen hours." Tsunade appeared in front of me, her face looking sleepy.
"Hehe… maybe? I did work very hard though…" I replied sheepishly
"Humph, now I am sleepy, and I don't care that you have just woken up, we are going to sleep again, you are my body pillow, don't you dare disturb me until I wake up." She said with a pout as she announced her punishment.
But come on, was this really a punishment?
"Whatever my wife says, let's go right now. And you are seriously underestimating me if you think that I can't sleep again just because I just woke up from a fifteen hours sleep." I chuckled.
Stepping out of my pod, I stretched my body, cracking my bones, producing popping sounds all over, damn that was a good sleep.
Finally, looking at my tired wife, I grabbed her and picked her up in a princess carry.
Sadly, we were not a new couple, her expression didn't change the slightest as I did that, I kinda miss how she used to blush before, still, as I picked her up, she just leaned her head on my chest snugging peacefully.
Cute.
I then proceeded to use the flying thunder god to teleport back to our room, and placed Tsuna on the bed, of course, as she had just ordered, I also lied down with her holding her gently, cuddling.
The Second Shinobi war was about to start, and we would both be deployed to fight. Moments like these, though we may take it for granted now, would become rare occurrences till the end of the war.
Maybe, I should start the war once I get acquainted with my new powers…
The next day, in the secret laboratory beneath my mansion.
There were two large chambers filled with grotesque wriggling mass, they looked straight up disgusting, this part of my research was unknown to even Tsunade.
One of the chamber contained cloned Hashirama cells, and the another contained cloned Madara cells.
What I was trying to do was a pretty disturbing experiment.
So, if you know a bit about genetics, humans have a total of 46 chromosomes in 23 pairs, the first 22 of which was autosomes, same in both men and women.
As for the 23rd one, that one is called the sex chromosome, and the human male has XY chromosome on the 23rd pair, meanwhile women have XX chromosome.
And during sexual reproduction, the pairs are broken, and recombined to form the progeny, this process of breakdown replication where the number of chromosomes is halfed is called meiosis.
Now, what I was about to do was build artificial breeding chambers, which would break both Hashirama's and Madara's cells into XYXY sequences, then, I could combine them to fertilize.
Yeah, basically form a child between Hashirama and Madara. Well, not exactly a child, but child cells, which I could copy and replicate into my body.
Now, genetics are very mysterious, so what I need to do is, make thousands upon thousands of samples, and with that, it is almost certain that one of the progeny would take both of their talents, and take it to the next level, amplifying it.
Now, you all might spout stuff like, 'No, they were that strong due to Asura and Indra chakra blah blah blah' But, genetics don't lie, if Hashirama cells can continue to survive so long after his death, then that power of his has been ingrained into his genetics.
Now, there's the fact that a supposed child of Hashirama and Madara, might not be able to inherit both their powers reaching beyond them, but, when I said I was gonna make thousands of samples, I wasn't joking.
I am not ready to believe that if Hashirama and Madara had thousands of children together, none of them would have talent surpassing their parents.
And once such a sample is born, that power, it will be mine to have.
I know, this was probably the weirdest shit you have read in quite a while, but yeah, these are my plans…
Actually, when I do succeed, I am going to inform Tsunade too, since I do need her to perform the operation on me.
I actually got all this idea from reading all those fanfics in my past life, where the mc had a system which let him replicate bloodlines or something. God, I wish I had a system which could do all this by… like touching them or collecting their genetic sample.
The amount of time I had to keep my enhanced brain running to cook this up was ridiculous, and after that, can you imagine how much effort I had to put to actually figure out a way to do this?
And, even after I do make the sample, I would still have to figure out a way to add that stuff to my body without any side effects.
Thankfully, I now have a bootleg sage body, the amount of clones I can keep up now can reach the level of Naruto.
And, since I am not an idiot like him, my brain actually might crash with all that data, I am planning to create a sealing technique, which could store the memory from the clones real time, and then, release them to my brain at desired time at the fastest possible pace without injuring me.
'Okay… I am getting crazy I guess…' I sighed, I could feel myself changing as I entered deep into research, growing more inhuman each passing day…
Every time I set a goal that this is the last time I would do something like this, I end up doing it again and again, just because I have already done all that before…
'I should go and get Sensei enhanced too… maybe I really need this war as some outlet, I think I need to distance myself from research for a while, or I would turn into Orochimaru…'
But then, I once again fell into contemplation, at what level have I fallen if I am considering a world war as some outlet to distance myself from the crazy stuff…
