The Instant Transmission technique displayed by Goku was completely different from the method Axis utilized.
The teleportation Axis used was grounded in theoretical principles derived by Isha, the Goddess of Life, through the Warp. Without the existence of the Warp, his ability was essentially unusable.
Goku's technique, however, allowed him to teleport anywhere in the universe instantly, provided he could lock onto a target's Ki.
Nevertheless, this technique wasn't particularly practical in the Warhammer universe, as very few individuals there possessed Ki.
Consequently, the only places Axis could teleport to using this method were to the side of the Goddess of Life, near a few Saibamen, or to his own son.
Comparatively speaking, the Warp-based teleportation developed by the Goddess of Life remained more useful within the Warhammer universe.
When Goku performed his Instant Transmission, Axis widened his eyes, observing the method closely and attempting to capture the sensation using his Divine Ki.
Stealing this move from Kakarot? The principle was actually quite simple; even Cell had learned it at a mere glance.
For Axis, who wielded Divine Power, it wasn't particularly difficult. After watching it just once, he had formed a general understanding of the mechanics.
There was, however, a limitation to this version of Instant Transmission: one had to be familiar with the target's Ki, and the stronger the target's energy, the clearer the perception.
Otherwise, using the move recklessly could send the user to an unknown location. If the signal was too weak, it could not be sensed at all.
During the Cell Games arc, Goku had utilized King Kai as a relay to sense the people on New Namek; otherwise, he would not have been able to lock onto them.
Goku's arrival lacked flashy special effects. With a simple pop, they appeared on Planet Namek.
They were surrounded by spherical houses, and numerous green-skinned Namekians with antennas on their heads were tending to crops.
The Namekians were a fascinating and unique species. They possessed no gender distinctions and reproduced asexually.
An adult individual would form an egg within their body and regurgitate it to hatch a new individual. However, powerful Namekians could choose what hatched from the egg.
For example, the original Demon King Piccolo had birthed bizarre, monstrous minions from his eggs. These were effectively mutated Namekians that inherited his vicious personality. Aside from such exceptions, ordinary Namekians did not seem to possess the ability to reproduce at will.
Beyond this, Namekians possessed incredible regeneration capabilities. Lost limbs were mere flesh wounds to them. They also had the ability to alter their size, becoming gigantic, a technique Piccolo had used during his first battle with Goku.
Another special ability was assimilation, or fusion. One individual could merge everything they were into another, but they would not retain their own consciousness.
In the anime, Piccolo merged with Nail, a warrior from Namek. This fusion allowed Piccolo, whose combat power was previously under fifty thousand, to dominate Frieza in his second form.
Later, during the Tournament of Power, two Namekians from Universe 6 merged with their entire population, creating two incredibly powerful entities.
Watching Dragon Ball on TV as a child, Axis had often wondered why Demon King Piccolo hadn't simply birthed more high-quality offspring and absorbed them one by one.
If he had hidden in a cave and farmed children for a dozen years, he could have emerged strong enough to crush Super Saiyans. After all, Piccolo also possessed the Super Namekian potential.
However, the most miraculous aspect of the Namekians was their ability to create Dragon Balls. This was the true key to their greatness, a concept expanded upon in Dragon Ball Super.
Namekians were actually a special race created by the Dragon God Zalama and possessed a portion of the Dragon Clan's power. They could create Dragon Balls because they had obtained "shavings", fragments left over from when Zalama created the Super Dragon Balls.
These shavings were used to create the planetary versions used by the protagonists on Earth and elsewhere.
"Long time no see, Goku! What brings you here?"
"It's you, Goku! Welcome!"
"Welcome, welcome."
Upon realizing the visitor was Goku, all the Namekians were overjoyed and rushed forward to greet him. Goku's reputation among the Namekians was incredibly high.
"Yo! Long time no see, everyone."
Surrounded by the crowd, Goku and Axis, along with his son, were led to a massive dwelling. This was the home of the current Grand Elder of Namek, the keeper of the Namekian Dragon Balls.
"It has been a long time, Goku. Do you need our help with something this time?" The Grand Elder nodded in a friendly manner and asked.
"Grand Elder, I did come to ask for a favor. This is my friend Axis. He wants to use the Dragon Balls to make a few wishes," Goku said, straightforward as always.
"I see. This gentleman is named Axis, correct?" The Grand Elder nodded and looked closely at Axis.
Suddenly, the Elder frowned. Namekians possessed a mysterious psychic ability that allowed them to sense how many lives a being had ended, allowing them to judge whether a person was good or evil.
Goku was welcome because he hadn't killed many lives in the universe, and he had saved Earth and other planets multiple times.
His aura was righteous and kind, which endeared him to the Namekians.
Axis's aura was acceptable. Although there was significant bloodshed in his past, the Grand Elder sensed that Axis had mostly killed those who were irredeemably wicked or essentially evil entities.
Since crossing over, Axis had primarily slaughtered Orks, Tyranids, and Chaos Daemons. In the Warhammer universe, very few lifeforms could be considered truly righteous or kind.
However, the man accompanying Axis, Kratos, was different. Kratos bore a heavy aura of slaughter and wickedness; he had exterminated many innocent races.
Having participated in the Emperor's Great Crusade, Kratos's conduct was influenced by the Emperor, meaning he showed no mercy to xenos races outside of humanity.
"Mr. Axis, may I ask what you intend to wish for? If you are the one using them, I can lend them to you. But I apologize regarding the man beside you; I cannot entrust the Dragon Balls to him," the Grand Elder said after a moment of contemplation.
Since Goku had brought them, and Axis had not slaughtered innocents indiscriminately, the Elder was willing to listen. But Kratos carried too much bloodlust.
"I will be the one using the Dragon Balls, not Kratos. As for my wish, I simply want a few precious items. Specifically, fruits from the Tree of Might," Axis explained.
Axis had no intention of asking for anything extreme. The Namekian Dragon, Porunga, only understood the Namekian language, so wishes could not be made arbitrarily.
"Oh! If it is not a wicked wish, then I allow you to use them. Please wait a moment while I have the other villages bring the Dragon Balls here," the Grand Elder agreed.
He immediately ordered several warrior-type Namekians to retrieve the Dragon Balls from the outlying settlements. He chose to trust Goku's character, and it was hard to refuse the savior of their race.
"Really? Thank you, Grand Elder. We appreciate it."
"You are welcome. Please wait patiently for a short while," the Grand Elder replied.
Aside from the One-Star Ball kept by the Grand Elder, the other balls were scattered among various villages for safekeeping. As a peace-loving race that avoided abusing supernatural powers, they almost never used the Dragon Balls themselves.
"Kratos, in the future, feel free to slaughter Orks, Tyranids, or Chaos Daemons. But regarding other races in the galaxy, do not follow the 'Humanity Supremacy' doctrine. Massacring life recklessly will do you no good," Axis advised.
Fortunately, many lifeforms in the Warhammer universe were inherently hostile. Otherwise, the combined evil aura of the father and son might have been no weaker than Frieza's.
Soon, all seven Dragon Balls were gathered. The Namekian Grand Elder stepped forward, chanted a strange incantation, and summoned the Dragon of Namek.
The sky turned pitch black. The seven balls erupted with golden light that shot into the heavens, accompanied by flashing lightning and rolling thunder.
Boom! Boom!
The golden light solidified into a physical form, expanding to an unimaginable size. A massive, green-skinned creature with enormous antlers, spanning thousands of miles, appeared before them.
"Those who have gathered the Seven Dragon Balls! Speak your wish! I can grant any wish. You may now make three wishes," Porunga, the enormous Namekian Dragon, boomed.
"Alright, Mr. Axis, tell me your wish. Porunga only understands the Namekian language, so I will translate for you," the Grand Elder said, turning to Axis.
"Thank you very much, Grand Elder. For my first wish, I want perfect seeds for the Tree Of Might, specifically, the kind that produces the fruit I am holding," Axis said, producing a fruit from the first generation of the Tree of Might.
First-generation fruits were becoming scarce, as the original seeds had been exhausted to plant the God Tree.
The Grand Elder nodded and spoke to the Dragon in the bubbling Namekian tongue.
"Your wish is to obtain perfect versions of the seeds, correct? These are actually Fruits of the Gods, usually eaten only by deities and cultivated by the Supreme Kais. I can give you the seeds, but to grow them properly, you would need to find a Supreme Kai. Alternatively, I can simply give you the fruit. For one wish, I can give you ten fruits," Porunga explained.
"Give me perfect seeds! Give me as many as one wish will allow," Axis replied.
The Grand Elder relayed the message.
"I understand. I will give you one hundred perfect Divine Fruit seeds," Porunga declared. His eyes glowed red.
A pouch appeared before Axis, filled with plump, ruddy seeds. These were the most perfect seeds of the Tree of Might, or rather, the Divine Tree. Even if they couldn't be grown on ordinary planets and required the soil of the Kai's world, they were invaluable.
"Your first wish has been granted. What are your second and third wishes?" Porunga asked.
"I want to be able to normally absorb Destruction Energy," Axis requested.
The Grand Elder nodded and translated the wish.
"I am sorry. That wish is beyond my power. Please state a different wish," Porunga said, shaking his massive head.
"Can you tell me the training method for learning Destruction Energy?"
"I am sorry. That wish is also beyond my power. Please state another."
"I want to learn Ultra Instinct or Ultra Ego."
"I am very sorry, I cannot grant that wish either."
Axis rolled his eyes. This Dragon's abilities were a bit lacking. What should he wish for then?
"Porunga, for my second wish, I want you to restore the cooldown of the Earth's Dragon Balls so they can be used immediately," Axis said after a moment of thought.
The Grand Elder nodded and translated once more.
"That wish is simple. I can grant it for you." Porunga's eyes flashed red again.
"Your wish has been granted. Now, what is your final wish?"
"Porunga, for my last wish, I want to obtain Super Dragon Ball fragments," Axis stated.
Super Dragon Ball fragments were the key material for creating Dragon Balls. Axis planned to see if Earth's Shenron could help with the actual crafting process later.
"Hmm! I cannot create Super Dragon Ball fragments from nothing. However, such fragments do exist within this universe. I can retrieve them for you. Wait a moment."
