Chapter 78 - The lunarian clan and a small trip

Ars led the female while flying through the sky and soon after they arrived at Ars kingdom.

The female sighed when she saw the kingdom. It wasn't hidden, even if it wasn't on the map yet, sooner or later it would be.

That just solidified her opinion that Ars just wanted rare slaves, but she kept her display of just following him, having a very small hope that Ars was telling the truth. After all, she, like anyone else, didn't want to be a slave.

One guard approached and asked curiously.

"Who is she?"

He smiled and replied.

"A representative from a different clan that may come to live in the second city."

The guard nodded and Ars asked.

"Did something important happen while I was away?"

The Guard shook his head.

Mizuki was surprised with the revelation that there was a second city, which increased her hopes a bit.

Ars looked back at her and said relaxedly.

"Let us keep going, I'm pretty sure you will like the place."

Ars showed her the way to his palace and entered where Olivia and Elia were passing by.

"Welcome back! And who is this lady?"

Ars hugged them and introduced his guest to them.

"This is Mizuki, she belongs to a clan that might come to live in the second city."

Olivia quickly recognized Mizuki lineage.

"A lunarian? I thought that race was extinct!"

Mizuki showed a sad expression and commented depressedly.

"We almost are, but a few of us are still holding on, hiding where we can."

Olivia grabbed her hands and informed her happily.

"Well, you are here now, so you found a place where you won't be hunted any further."

Elia nodded and added warmly.

"Welcome to Nautica, the kingdom where until now, had no complaints from its citizens and we intend to keep it that way until we can."

Ars quickly asked.

"Before you saw me, where were you going?"

Olivia smiled and replied calmly.

"We got invited along with the little girls to go to Koral house for girl talk, you wouldn't try to go along would you?"

Ars shook his head and quickly denied the accusation.

"No, I have to take my guest to check the second city. But I don't see the little girls. Could it be that you forgot to take them along? And last time I checked I am not Ivankov."

Both Olivia and Elia laughed and Elia answered mischievously.

"No, we sent them ahead by special delivery, so we could meet you alone but you brought a guest…"

Olivia smiled and clarified.

"Kuina and Fierzy went ahead of us, Kuina took the little girls and Fierzy took Lily."

Ars nodded and told them quietly.

"I will see you later, for now I will take my guest to check on the second city."

They nodded and went their way, while Ars took Mizuki to the portal, to go to the second city.

She had expected that the city would be a city buried on the ground, but when she saw the other side of the portal she froze.

It was a whole different place, she looked at Ars for an explanation… But he just smiled, opened his arms and declared.

"Welcome to jura… I mean welcome to the second city."

She looked confused… Ars laughed and started to introduce her to the place.

"This city is in a completely different world and the only way to get here from what I know is through the portal that we passed before."

She nodded and couldn't help but comment.

"It's indeed hidden. And very well so!"

She looked around and saw a lot of people, so she couldn't help but ask.

"You seem to have enough people, why take the lunarians under your wing too?"

Ars laughed but explained in a clear way.

"Why not? Look around you… This world is even bigger than the one on the other side and besides this city, for what we know has no other city… Imagine that… Besides this city there is no other one for now, but we want to explore and we want to build more cities and to do that as fast as possible we need more people. And if we have a choice, strong people will be preferred, because this planet has a higher gravity index, stronger fauna and plants… It's a whole new world but you need enough strength to explore it."

She nodded, she finally started to realize that Ars wanted the lunarians to come as soldiers and as explorers.

Ars looked at her and signaled to follow him. He started introducing the several different places in the city.

After seeing the entire city, she started to think.

Before arriving in the second city, she was still afraid of Ars intentions, but after checking the city, she realized Ars actually wanted them to live in his kingdom without many strings attached.

You probably had the normal ones, like to follow the king orders or to do the jobs indicated to you but… Compared to the best scenario possible in her head, it wasn't too far off.

She looked at Ars and with a thankful face, quickly exclaimed.

"I can't speak for everyone in my clan but… I think they will be more than happy to come living here."

Ars smiled back and she instantly requested, full of hope.

"I would like to depart now and give the information to my clan so the elders can decide if they want to come live here or not. I will do my best to come but I can only do so much."

Ars nodded, smiled and replied confidently.

"I will take you to the first city, so you can get on your way and I'm pretty sure the conditions I'm offering are pretty good so I'm confident your elders will accept."

She nodded, she completely agreed with Ars.

Ars quickly led her back to the first city, where she took off to their current hiding place.

While waiting Ars decided it was a good time to train extra hard for the following days, he wanted to develop both the observation haki and armament haki to the next level, he could feel the limit of his current level. Ars didn't think of this as too hard.

After pushing himself to the extreme for a few days he managed to breakthrough, in both of them. He also let out his new spy and directly instructed her on what to do.

"I will give you 20 million berries for you to start a new life in a kingdom that belongs to the world government, you don't need to do much, just don't betray me and send a report of the marine and world government actions on it. If there aren't many you can just say so."

She was shocked. Then asked.

"So I only need to report what I see around in the kingdom, related to those topics?"

Ars nodded, gave her a small boat, and she left with a smile.

He returned to training. Tom and Oak interrupted his training to talk to him about putting the light system on the palace. It didn't take too long to get light at night in the palace. The first 2 buildings that got the lights were the hospital and the military headquarters. After the palace, it should be any public building where the light system wasn't already installed, followed by the inns and houses in the city, and finally, after that the rest of the infrastructure, things like street lamps.

When they were done here, they would start going to the villages, and finally the other city.

Almost a week after this the lunarian tribe came flying, there were only a few of them, Ars had thought there would be way more people in the clan. At most there were 40 of them.

"Is this all that is left from your clan?"

Most of them showed sad faces. And one older man nodded and commented.

"Inded, it is a shame that our entire clan as been reduced to this numbers, maybe there are more lunarian tribes in hiding but… of ours this is what's left…"

Ars nodded and understood the depressed mood.

"I can only welcome you to my kingdom, in here you shouldn't have to worry about getting hunted, you just need to focus on surviving with everyone else."

He took them to the second city, where they were introduced to a group of builders that were waiting for them, to talk of their preferences about how they preferred their houses and the furniture.

Ars could see they were going to take a while and his duty was mainly done… Someone else would explain the rest of what they needed to know.

Some people noticed that Ars was leaving very sneakily, but they already expected this to happen from the start… Ars was not the type of person who would quietly wait for someone if he didn't 100% need to.

Ars went back to the first city and was going to train, but he got stopped by Elia with a job for him.

"Are you free? Because if you are, we need you to do a job for us!"

Ars thought about it and nodded, he was free, the only thing that he could need to do was read and sign some documents, but he had done so previously… So if he had some, it wouldn't be much.

"What do you need?"

Elia smiled appreciatively and gave Ars a list. In the list the names of several clothes, objects and foods were written.

"Can you go buy those things and take Olivia with you? She has been working hard and needs a break!"

He smiled at Elia and commented.

"So, a date is it?… You also have been working hard, one of these days we should also go on one."

Elia smiled a bit sadly, before replying.

"I think I'm a special case… I feel like I'm in heaven when I'm being useful and appreciated by other people, especially your majesty."

Ars smiled and kissed her, before accepting her request.

"Sure you request is not only accepted but it is welcome, at any time of the day, week or year. But you also need to rest, or sooner or later you might crash out!"

She smiled and hugged him back.

He then quickly moved towards Olivia's location, in this case her room where she was reading a book.

When he got there he grabbed her hand and said to the very confused Olivia.

"I got myself a shopping list. Let's go buy some stuff."

She smiled and nodded, they both quickly changed into fitting clothes, in this case a normal long skirt with a tank top for Olivia and a bounty hunter attire for Ars, with both of them wearing masks.

Ars was already waiting for Olivia by the palace garden, ready to take flight. First destination Goa kingdom to buy a few objects for everyday use.

"Come on, get on my back so we can take off. I think I'm correct when I say this will be your first time flying?"

She smiled and nodded. She climbed on his back and they left through the skies. While they were flying Olivia was enjoying the ride, she couldn't help but comment.

"This feels amazing, the wind on my face, the small islands seen from above, the small number of ships and the vast sea… I can see why you have been going around flying everywhere way more often. I could get used to this. When you give us abilities, is it possible to give us wings?"

Ars nodded with a happy smile. Olivia also smiled happily, that seemed really nice.

After a while they arrived at Goa.

They quickly located a store that sold what they wanted from here. After they bought the required items they tried to find an inn, but despite its grandeur there weren't that many inns and the ones that existed, refused them because they looked poor, most of the inns around were made for the rich, like nobles and successful merchants. And the ones that would have accepted them were full.

Ars thought about their possibilities and decided to discuss it with Olivia while they walked..

"I know of a small village on the other side of the island, it's Garp's hometown. Or we can invade a children's treehouse in the forest, and convince the children to let us stay the night."

Olivia was surprised and questioned.

"The marine hero Garp?"

Ars nodded and Olivia for the first time made a strange face. Ars was surprised.

"Is everything alright? Your face for a few seconds went a bit pale…"

Olivia relaxed and hugged him, before replying nervously.

"I don't have good memories of the marines with a single exception, while I never met Garp in person, I would prefer not to meet him."

Ars nodded he could see why she didn't like the marines, but he commented trying to calm her down.

"Garp is one of the few marines that actually has a good heart, even if you meet him you will most likely like that old man. He also wasn't one of the attackers that day."

She nodded and replied, trying to calm herself.

"Let's check the village out, but I would prefer to sleep in the treehouse."

Ars nodded and this time instead of flying they used soru to move through the island at high speeds.
