Chapter 55: the island of Avalon filled with corruption
When he carefully checked he noticed that there is a dragon mouth like cave below and the water is flowing out from there instead magically from down to up. He went there and the map in his hand suddenly shone with light making a pathway with the rainbow.
At the other end of the rainbow there is a vague appearance of an island in a foggy place. Dobby stepped on the rainbow with the map on hand. He felt like he was standing on a solid ground. Only by walking on the rainbow can one reach this mysterious island of Avalon.
Also only when he is holding the map he can walk on this rainbow. If he puts the map in his space pouch then he would fall into the water. He carefully walked all the way which are around 2 or 3 kilometers on the rainbow before reaching the solid ground of the island.
The island is covered by a barrier and he cannot just step in normally he needs the map still. Also when leaving here he needs the map. It is like the entry and exit pass for him. If it did not work then he cannot come or leave this island.
Dobby entered the island carefully with some fear because there are corrupted beasts on this island which is not a simple thing, he don't want to die stupidly. He used the invisibility cloak to cross the barrier.
Outside the barrier the island looked foggy without any big problem. But after entering the situation is different. The entire island is rotten and there is bloody red light all over. It is the smell of blood and it was quite thick.
Dobby quickly looked at around to make sure that everything is okay before stepping forward but he did not expect that as soon as he stepped in there is a wild boar covered with ulcers and tumors came out running.
It was chased by some strange beast that looked like a tiger. It is even more disgusting. It is like a live action mutated creatures zombie movie. Dobby was fortunate that he is hiding in invisibility cloak.
He was not seen by them but he felt that the strange bloody light and that blood are creeping towards him wanting to get into his body. He directly used a magic spell to block off the advances of this strange substance.
"It is most probably the corruption. Fortunately I brought a bicycle with me. I don't have to get on the ground and walk."
He took out a bicycle with invisibility spell attached to it and peddled it into the island based on the map. He is going to the location where the seal is. After all, the dragon heart is sealed there and he has to purify it.
As he moved on there are many bumps but he was able to move on easily. It was too easy and he suspected that there is a problem. But there is no problem around him. As he moved on he suddenly felt the problem and the uneasiness in his mind.
Yes it is not the blood on the ground that is the corruption but the strange evil energy in the red light that is the corruption. He was stunned but he did not stop. The closer he is to the center of the seal the higher the feeling of losing control of his thoughts.
Yes he has many cruel thought and quickly moving towards the insanity. He was shocked by this discovery and without thinking for a second he took out the purification potion and drank part of it.
He got 3 bottles and he doesn't know how much is required to purify the dragon heart. He first drank a little and felt that the mind is clearing up. But it would not protect him forever. So he immediately got on the bicycle and moved faster.
He would pour this purification potion on the dragon heart and see if it is purified. Even if it is not purified he would not stay there but run away from there as quickly as possible. With that thought in mind he moved forward.
The more he moved the stronger the pressure and strange influence on his mind increased. He barely held back his impulses and held back from drinking all the potion of purification. He finally came to the seal area. It is not that much big
There is a coffin and a body is present on the coffin that got pierced through the heart with a sword. Dobby looked at it and went straight to that place. He did not step on any runes forming the magic circle around the coffin. Dobby don't care who they are.
The body outside is the body of a woman that is super hot and devilish with red hair and hot curves. She can be comparable to Mrs. Zabini. After looking carefully he knows that the woman is actually Morgan. Then the person inside the coffin should be the lame moron King Arthur.
Dobby knows that they are sealed like this based on the story and information with just a simple thought. He suddenly had a thought about the next quest.
"I am sure that the quest would not let me revive neither of King Arthur or Morgan. Based on the legend no creature that was pierced by Excalibur would survive. Even dead cannot survive. That is not the power of Excalibur but the original power of the artifact metal." Dobby thought.
The Excalibur is made out of the metal materials from the casing pieces of the artifact that originally held the lightning core. Lightning is an element that can destroy all kinds of life including the soul.
But it can also give life if that creature survives the power of the lightning. The only known creature that actually survived is the very creature that the previous artifact meant to kill. It is the first dragon Vritra.
