Chapter 75: a simple cat can never turn into a tiger
So he quickly walked out of the school building towards the gate the PE teacher Teshima was just about to go to the gate to stop some strange walking zombie person. When Vicky arrived Teshima was almost at the gate.
Vicky ran over quickly and grabs the hand of Teshima before he can make a move and pulls him back to where other teachers are present. Teshima did not understand what is going on so he wanted to shout at Vicky.
Vicky quickly looked at him and made a silent gesture. Still he is a muscle head that wanted to shout when Vicky hit him on the throat to make him silent. Kyoko wanted to scream but looking at the cold gaze of Vicky and she calmed down.
The students nearby were shocked and hid on the side to watch the show. Vicky quickly told Kyoko and Teshima about his thoughts and asked them to look at the people that are walking towards the school gate strangely.
"I think that person is not normal and he might have been infected with something like rabbis it is best not to get close to him or scream stupidly. Wait and see before making any move. Your throat would be normal in a few minutes."
After speaking Vicky left them and walked back. The students that are watching the fun were not looked by Vicky and he walked back to the class room. At that time there are screams in the surrounding area.
Vicky on the other hand has received system information of completing a hidden mission. His eyes sparkled as he looked at the contents of the completed mission with great interest and excitement.
"Tring
Host has triggered a hidden mission and successfully saved Teshima and Kyoko. Host has received 200 karma points."
Vicky's eyes lit up and thought. "My idea is correct. The hidden missions work in other worlds just like in the Harry potter world. So I just need to save and kill few people to gain more karma points."
He became determined to save Hisashi. When he arrived at the class the class is chaotic and Takashi has already taken Rei with him along with Hisashi and Saya Takagi. Mary and other male student player also followed them along.
Vicky learnt this news from other students and he came to a conclusion about the players Mary and the other man that is tagging along with the protagonist Takashi and Rei. This also means that they know about the plot to some extent.
"This Mary seems to have known the plot and decided to try and save Hisashi to get karma points." Vicky muttered these words in his heart as he came out of the class.
Vicky did not stay here and left the class room. He is following the path towards the administrative building. He knows that Hisashi is a fool that wanted to fight zombies with hands. Vicky has to go there in time to save him.
As for Mary and other player saving Hisashi is unknown. Most probably Mary wanted to hog on with Takashi to ride the protagonist bus to survive till the end. When Vicky arrived at the administrative building and he heard the announcement.
"There has been an incident on campus and everyone should begin evacuating."
Only a moron would say something like this at a time. They don't know how to handle zombies and this announcement was made by the principal. Vicky doesn't mind that as the plot needs some stupid twists to become a plot.
If everything is perfect there will not be any incident or accidents. Vicky did not go in to confront anyone. He just stayed silently on a spot where the incident would happen with Hisashi being infected and died.
In another place, Takashi, Rei, and Hisashi, Mary and male player Zuker who are in an isolated area of the school, decide to escape through the administration offices, where there will be less people.
As they begin running, Wakisaka, the social studies teacher, steps out in front of them, and he has become one of "them" that is the zombie. They called zombies "Them". He goes by Takashi and Hisashi and walks toward Rei. Mary and Zuker has already ran away to hide.
Rei tells him, he shouldn't cross a member of the Sojutsu club (Sojutsu is the Japanese martial art of fighting with a Japanese spear, known as a Yari) and then stabs him in the chest with her broom handle.
However, he is unaffected and continues to advance on her, backing her into a wall. Hisashi grabs him from behind, and Rei is able to pull the broom handle out. Takashi yells at Hisashi to let go of Wakisaka, saying he is not normal.
Hisashi says it's nothing, but Wakisaka overpowers him and bites his arm just like in the original plot. Right then Vicky appeared and kicked the zombie to the side while pulling Hisashi towards his before being injured.
As soon as the zombie fell he walked over and pulling the broom in the hand of Rei and directly plunge it into the head of the zombie with his quick technique through his eyes which are the only weak spot towards the brain.
Others wanted to scream but Vicky quickly made them a silencing gesture. Mary and Zuker might be simpler citizen. So they would not desperately fight with their lives on the life. They are just here to survive for a few points and ride the protagonist bus.
Human potential is limitless but there is a big problem here. A cat can never suddenly turn into a tiger. If it was trained over time it can become strong and fight. Similarly humans can make desperate attempts but they cannot fight like Vicky that is a mercenary.
His work is to fight and he has trained in it specifically. This is different from the desperate struggle of those ordinary people. Even a psycho cannot do the same thing as a trained person can do.
