After talking things out with the others, I headed upstairs back to my room to rest.
Yeah, it was clearly not like me to rest while the sun was still high in the sky in the middle of the day, but my body was still aching and recovering from the injuries I had sustained during my fight against Gaspar. I needed to be mentally and, especially, physically ready for tonight, in absolute peak form to stand there and face whatever came next, especially him. I was the only one who could hold him back if he returned.
Now that I knew he was stronger than me, I had to take things through different methods. But I was ready for anything. As long as I took away his means of pressuring me, I was certain I could gain the advantage over him. He was always wary of getting too close because of the Starakian technology in our possession, and that dangerous tech was our way to get to him.
He would be especially warier after having taken head on that Starakian Bomb.
