Jay's POV
"That was quite mature. No wonder kiefer finds you attractive" kiegan said casually. I choked on my ice cream
"What did you say?" I am starting to doubt myself. He's not in love with me
"Wait. You didn't know???" he was now surprised. I just shook my head in response.
"He's in love with me!? AKO!? how the f--" i just closed my mouth. I don't wanna curse in front of him.
"You know what let's go. it's 1 34 am already." I know i'm trying to change the topic. i went inside and he followed
"What we talked here, stay's here. Okay?" he nodded in agreement. He wouldn't want his Kuya to know he ate ice cream at 1 am and about the conversation we had earlier
Adam already sent me the location of Kiefer's condo like 45 minutes ago. So we just left quickly trying to avoid getting yelled at. But fate is never on my side.
We entered and Kiegan let me to the dinning room where we found 4 frustrated and anxious men and a lot of scattered notes.
Adam approached me trying to act unaffected, which was failing as i could clearly he was worried. As well as the others
"Where we you?" Adam asked. I just exchanged glances with Kiegan.
"Nowhere. Now who or what are we waiting for?" i said, plopping on the couch
"June and josh. The're late again. They got tired of waiting apparently so left to some fancy restaurant an hour away." Sam said casually plopping beside me. nope i took out my phone.
"Nope. i will not let that happen. Not today at least." i said dialling josh's number.
"Jay can i call you later. i'm kinda in the middle of something." he said quietly after answering
"Nope you have to come now i need June here, helping me. Not flaunting her ring" i said firmly. Adam, Micheal and Sam gasped
"He's proposing!!!!!!!!!!???????" Micheal screeched
"What the hell? Josh didn't tell us!!??" Sam said dramatically
"This is pure betrayal."Adam huffed
I'm surrounded by absolute idiots who are very jealous because they don't have a love life like june and josh
"Zip it. I'm on a call." they shut up immediately
"Fine. i'm coming, but don't expect me to be in a good mood." after saying that he hung up
I'm not resting with these cloths on. I have a yellow t shirt and light blue jeans in my car (Ashtine once wore this outfit on the first meet and greet) . I just went to grab them. i came back and the room was still quiet.
"Hey, Where the bathroom?" i asked Kiefer. He just pointed to a door beside the window. I still wore Adam's jacket and plopped back on the couch trying to sleep until my phone started ringing.
"Bro who's calling you at 1 58 am?" Micheal said and groaned at the same time
"Don't know. Unknown number." i replied as answered the call.
"Hello?"
"Hi Jay. It's Clyde. I know you attended Kiefer's birthday.' after he said that i immediately straightened up
"Okay so?" i am trying to sound casual
"Okay so. I want you to meet me at exactly 2 am downstairs." there was awkward silence until i sighed in defeat. i really don't have anything else to do for the next hour.
"Okay. But if your even a minute late----"
"I'm never late. I'm a Watson, just like you" and then he hung up
"Hoy!" i said loudly trying to call him back. he just texted me

Awe...miss me already
"Asshole." i yelled out in frustration and left the house.
And there he was, Clyde, on a motorcycle, a spare helmet in hand, smirking like a maniac.
i didn't even bother arguing, I just grabbed the helmet from his hand and climbed behind him.
We went to fancy bar a half an hour away.
He was focused on the road, i just enjoyed the cold breeze hitting my face.
After we reached we went to a random open table and he ordered red wine for both of us
"So. My main question is when your going to tell Kiefer your his step-cousin? the rest of the questions are related to this one." he said talking a sip.
"I'll tell him when i'm ready. He already has a lot on his plate." i said grabbing the glass.
"You really like him, don't you?" A conclusion not question
"Since when has this conversation become my love life." he suddenly burst out laughing.
I saw ion and hazel coming towards us. How did they know we're or i'm here???? And what are they doing here.
"Hi Jay. fancy seeing you here...." ion paused then turned to Clyde "....with him?"
"Why are you together by the way." Hazel said glaring at Clyde who looked at his shoes. that answers my question of Clyde liking hazel back.
Honestly i think kiefer getting engaged to hazel is the only reason for Clyde's hatred. Clyde wanted to get rid of himself being Ceo for so long.
"It's not what it looks like. He wanted to ask me questions." i said cutting the tension
"Jay where are you staying tonight?" ion asked
"Kiefer's" i said their smirks grew longer
"No. i know what your thinking and no." They sighed
"Bro when are you too going to wake up." ion said
"Just wait till angelo wakes up" I threatened. she was so red after i said Angelo's name
After a whole bunch of relentless teasing and question answers, Clyde finally dropped me home. No jay not home. It's kiefer's house not home
"Jay. i got a call from josh he said he's staying at hotel since she fell asleep." Adam said as i entered. And i was bombarded with questions.
Kiefer just showed us guest rooms where i tried to sleep but couldn't.
I woke up at 5 am wide awake. So i went to the rooftop looking at the city below feeling zero emotions.
Kiefer apparently followed me. Since i wasn't to discreet.
I was shocked after what he said to me. Lord why am i stuck in these situations!?
