The crowd erupted into cheers. The stands trembled with excitement as everyone rose to their feet. The other participants, already disqualified, began to leave the arena quietly, their expressions a mix of disappointment and respect.
One by one, they exited through the stone archway and headed to the royal yard — the grand mansion where all participants were allowed to stay until the end of the tournament, even if they had already lost. A line of carriages waited for them outside.
