Balm!
The door opens , as Hachi and Mizuno step out together.
The girl gets surprised, realizes her tears are still on her cheeks, she wipes them off and acts as if nothing really happened.
"So it seems you guys had a long and fun chat together. What did you find out—who she is?" Hachi walks towards them as she talks. Mizuno follows her.
Mizuno looks at Kara and the girl, takes a step closer to the girl.
So Kara slowly starts to explain everything that just happened.
"So, she is actually Chio and Seka fused in a single person, and like… they are part of the one you see here."
"Wait, but I think I also heard her confess… does that mean she is still my sister? Mizuno thinks.
Mizuno looks at the girl and asks, "I think I also heard about something else at last "
"Uhh…" The girl starts to blush almost instantly.
Hachi asks, "Umm, so are you all right?", The girl starts to get red, so she turns the other way. She keeps saying, "umm," with no words actually coming out of her mouth.
Mizuno says, "I-I also have something to ask you…" His words hesitate to come out.
"So that means… you are still my sister, right?" He looks at the girl, Mizuno's eyebrows crunch up as he looks at her with fear. "What if she doesn't remem—"
The girl, hearing the question, realizes how worried Mizuno must be. So she turns to Mizuno and sits down in front of him.
"Don't worry, Mizuno, I don't forget the people who just pee in th—"
"Ahh, no! Not now, not in front of brother!" Mizuno shouts when she almost finishes, his face getting all red and embarrassed.
The girl giggles a little and stands up. Mizuno approaches her with more confidence now and stays beside her, grabbing her clothes of the hospital.
She gives a slight smile and puts her arms around Mizuno, squeezing him. "Ah, don't get shy—here, give me a hug."
"I can't breathe—" Mizuno muffles.
Kara looks at the girl, "Am I allowed to accept her? She is my fate… but I don't want to leave Seka. And if I decline… do I say no to Seka?" Kara looks at the sky blankly.
"So, what is your name then?" Hachi turns to her as she is hugging her brother.
She gets hesitant. "I am… uh…" She gets confused on what to say.
"I don't have one," says the girl.
"Oi, Brother Kara, what do you say?" Hachi asks Kara, looking at him.
Kara keeps staring into blank space.
"Stop daydreaming! I am asking you some question here." She says in a louder voice.
Kara, lost in thought, gets alerted.
The girl stands up and looks at Kara but tries to avoid eye contact.
"Hey, give her a name then. She will need one—calling her by two names feels weird," Hachi says to Kara, putting her hands on her hips. "Sigh, what is up with you guys today? Just give her a name."
Kara takes a glance at her, sees her glistening eyes with the heart pattern inside of pupil.
The girl looks at him too, and both make eye contact. She gets nervous, blushes, and looks the other way. "She is pretty," Kara thinks to himself.
"Ahh, sorry," Kara says to them and puts his hands on his chin, thinking.
Wait… the name that keeps coming to my head… he thinks.
"Sera! How about it?" Kara looks at Hachi and then the girl.
Wait… isn't that the same name he called when he collapsed? Sera thinks.
"Ah yea… it sounds good to me," Sera says.
Kara, looking at her, almost gets relieved—then he realizes, Wait, this name… I said it before.
He remembers when he woke up and screamed the name.
"It's a name I read in a novel. The character is just so great and pretty, like you," he says hesitating.
She looking at Kara starts to fluster, with no words coming out.
Hachi looks at her, "its a good name," Hachi adds " it also sounds similar to the god of love too, like Seravelle."
Sera starts to roll her fingers.
"Did you not like it Sis?" Mizuno asks.
Sera nods no "No its not that, its just making me happy for some reason."
"well that settles it then" Hachi says.
"and also the thing earlier Mizuno said, I did hear some thing before coming inside" Hachi look at Sera with a smirk.
Sera blushes with a shock. "I didn't say that," she says in a calm tone.
"But I didn't ask" Hachi says. Smiling
Now Sera starts to get flustered and gets all red. Kara looks at her, blushing himself.
Sera looks away with embarrassment, then her vision starts to get all mixed up and blurry. I can't see whats happenin- She puts her hand on her head. then she falls down. Kara grabs her in his arms.
"Mizuno, Kara, please don-"
Sera slowly opens her eyes, sees that she is in her bed.
"What happened here?" she asks. She looks here and there and sees Kara sitting in his bed right beside her. She tries to move but there is someone.
Sera looks down at her feet, sees Hachi sleeping right there with Mizuno sitting beside her, looking at her.
"What? Where am I?" Sera says.
Kara replies, "Hospital, where would you be otherwise? And I see that still you are not used to your nightmares, I suppose."
Sera becomes all red. "What, wait… they heard everything I just dreamt." She puts her hand on her head and starts shouting, "Ohh no! I did it again, didn't I? No way!" She looks at Kara and Mizuno. "Look, forget about all the exception for me and prince stuff."
Mizuno looks at her with no single understanding of what she just said. "What are you talking about? You're not making sense, you know."
Wait, but I did do a lot of things even as Chio or Seka. I just made them do so much work, at least I should…Sera thinks to herself.
Her face drops. Kara notices the change in Sera's face.
"I am sorry," Sera says, looking at her hands.
Kara gets caught off guard in shock.
"I am really sorry for making you all worry and go through so much trouble for me."
Hachi wakes up. "Hey, don't say things like that," she says, yawning and rubbing her eyes. She stands up and goes near the table and grabs a plate. "Here, I peeled some apples for you, but you didn't wake up. I made sure these idiots didn't eat them."
She starts to form some tears in her eyes. She eats the apples.
"That's so sweet of you, thank you," Sera says. She grabs Mizuno's hand and wipes her tear with it.
"Hey, what are you doing!? That's gross!" Mizuno starts shouting as he yanks his hand. "If you want to cry like a baby, then take this tissue here." Mizuno says, wiping off his hand. Kara stands up, comes near. I have no words for her actually. he thinks.
Hachi stands up. "I don't think I would worry about anything. You gave me this doll, right? So I don't mind what I went through."
Sera looks down.
"Umm, Hachi, Mizuno… I need some time with Kara," Sera asks politely.
Mizuno and Hachi look at each other. Mizuno looks at Sera.
"Okay, take all the time you need then." Both of them get out.
Right as they get out they see—
A white figure.
Just standing outside. "I think I came at the wrong time," he says, and he goes back.
"A white hair with white eyes…"
Mizuno gets shocked. "What is Mr. Grey doing here?"
Hachi looks at him. "Oh right, you never knew, did you? See, brother Kara is the one you call the Blue Demon if you haven't realized it, and Grey, or Web, is actually his best friend."
Back inside the room, Sera sits there putting her hands together, looking down as a little strand of hair falls from her ear.
She takes a glance at Kara. She finds him looking at her, then gets up and starts to cut the apples.
"Kara, thank you for everything you did for me, also for saving Chio and Seka."
Kara speaks, "It's okay, you don't have to."
Kara thinks to himself, If I don't accept Sera… am I turning away the one person I loved most? Or am I just chasing Seka in her?
Kara gives a sigh. Sera notices him.
"Don't think too much here," Sera says, handing him some apples she cut. I would have loved to feed these to him myself but…, Sera starts to think to herself.
"I think I am still a bit tired," Sera goes back to her bed and lies down.
"Hey Sera," Kara calls her. "So the party that we were going to do… I must have postponed it. Maybe day after tomorrow. And I would love to see you there, will yo-"
"Yes, I will come," Sera says.
"But you still don't fully trust me like you trust Seka, do you?"
Kara gets caught off guard. "What might you be trying to tell?" He acts as if nothing happened.
"So you were an S-rank," Sera lets out.
Kara explains, "Ah, sorry, I had to hide it. But it was so that I could find the fate I was looking for, which was you. And also because people would have taken advantage of my status."
Sera blushes a little and hides her face in the blanket. "I think I-I am tired, so I am going to sleep," Sera says.
Kara looks at her and gives a little smile, then lays back. "Am I wrong, or is this the right path?"
