Chapter 46 - CHAPTER 56

Accompanied by Majin Buu's high-pitched, unrelenting screams, his bloated pink form disintegrated into flickering purple motes of energy something foreign to even his unique physiology. The light spots scattered, shimmered in the air like ash under moonlight, and finally vanished without a trace.

Guru...

Son Goku and Dende, who had been tensely observing from the cliffs near Kami's Lookout, exhaled together as if holding their breath for eternity. Their eyes widened in disbelief.

All of Earth's warriors those left conscious stood speechless. This was Majin Buu, the chaos entity who once consumed entire planets, absorbed Gotenks and Gohan, and mocked even fusion warriors. This was the ancient terror created by Bibidi, the same creature who obliterated hundreds of planets across the Universe.

And now…

Destroyed.

So easily.

The battle between Linze and Majin Buu—what everyone thought was a desperate struggle turned out to be mere foreplay.

---

"I... I can't believe it," Goku muttered, voice dry. "The energy... from his fingertip... it just.disintegrated Buu?"

"How did Linze train to reach such a level?" asked Krillin, unable to process what he'd witnessed.

Even Piccolo, the most rational of the group, was stone-faced.

Everyone knew: Majin Buu's regeneration wasn't like Cell's or Piccolo's. It was magical in nature, virtually limitless. He could regenerate from vapor, and even complete annihilation via energy had only slowed him temporarily. Goku had seen it himself when he fought Kid Buu on the Sacred World of the Kai. Even a full-power Super Saiyan 3 Kamehameha had failed to erase him entirely.

Goku had once assumed that even if Linze was strong, defeating Majin Buu would require long, drawn-out battle tactics Fusion, Spirit Bomb, or worse. And yet...

Linze had called him a "bug."

And it wasn't arrogance.

It was the truth.

---

"Too... too amazing," Dende exclaimed with tear-filled eyes. "The Earth... it's been waiting for so long. Finally... we can restore everyone."

When Majin Buu absorbed Gohan and Piccolo, Dende had thought it was the end. No Dragon Balls, no warriors left strong enough to resist.

But Linze... Linze had defied everything. Every rule. Every known scale of power.

---

At that same moment, far away on the Sacred World of the Kai, an ancient tremor took hold of the aged Old Supreme Kai.

His frail form trembled. He clenched the base of his wooden staff, and his cloudy eyes widened in horror.

"That purple energy from Linze..." he rasped, trembling. "No… No, that's impossible... Except for Lord Beerus, no one in this universe should possess such an aura."

His voice cracked. This wasn't awe,it was fear.

"Ancestor?" Shin blinked, confused. "But Majin Buu is gone! Linze wiped him out! Shouldn't we be celebrating?"

Even Kibito Kai (God Jebet) was practically hopping in place. "Yeah! That was incredible! That guy Linze destroyed Majin Buu with just a flicker of energy!"

His excitement was justified. This was Majin Buu—the ancient destroyer, the creature who killed four of the five Supreme Kais during his rampage eons ago. Even the mighty Grand Supreme Kai had been absorbed, weakening the divine balance for generations.

But the Old Kai wasn't rejoicing.

"You fool!" he barked at Jebet, eyes blazing. "You felt nothing wrong about that energy?! Useless brat! How did you ever become a Supreme Kai!?"

---

Jebet froze, ears burning. "I... uh... was it not... purple?"

Old Kai thumped his cane. "It wasn't just the color, you imbecile! That was God of Destruction energy Hakai-level power! Linze just invoked an energy meant to erase things from existence body, soul, everything! Even Majin Buu's magic-based regeneration couldn't defy it!"

---

The air around the Sacred World was silent now.

For the first time in ages, Old Kai felt the weight of something greater than Majin Buu.

If Linze wielded that kind of power…

Was he even mortal anymore?

Or was he something else entirely?

The energy just now had the power to annihilate Majin Buu in an instant. It was overwhelming, divine in scale but to some, still misunderstood.

"There's no need to overreact. Sure, it's powerful," muttered Kibito Kai, still dazed by what he'd seen. "But... is it really such a big deal?"

"What an ignorant fool!" the Old Supreme Kai snapped, eyes locked onto the image of Linze floating in the crystal orb. "That wasn't just ki. Linze just wielded destruction energy Hakai. That's the divine power used exclusively by the Gods of Destruction!"

"Destruction... energy?" Kibito Kai blinked in confusion. "You mean... like Beerus-sama's?"

He had heard rumors of Hakai, whispered in the divine halls, but had never seen it with his own eyes until now.

The Old Kai groaned, shaking his head. "Unbelievable... A mortal Saiyan mastering a technique that even most gods dare not touch... Linze may be a warrior, but wielding Hakai isn't just strength, it's a divine authority. I don't know if this is a miracle... or a prelude to disaster for the entire Universe."

---

Back on Earth, after Majin Buu's defeat, Son Goku and Dende wasted no time. They summoned the Earth's Dragon Balls, but since many of the deceased had been revived once before, they needed stronger magic.

So they called on Porunga, the eternal dragon of Namek, who had no such resurrection restrictions.

"Revive all those killed by Majin Buu, including those who've died multiple times!" Goku requested.

The wish was granted.

Vegeta, Krillin, and countless others returned to life. The Earth, once crumbling under despair, was restored to peace. Even the cosmic realms felt a wave of calmness after the storm.

---

Later, at Kami's Lookout, the remaining Z Fighters gathered around Linze.

"Mr. Linze, thank you," said Gohan, bowing his head deeply. "You didn't just save Earth. You saved the entire universe."

Piccolo, Krillin, and Tien echoed their gratitude. Even the usually stoic Vegeta gave a solemn nod.

If Linze hadn't eliminated Majin Buu, the monster would have likely consumed the entire universe in time.

"You don't have to thank me," Linze said, his hand resting gently on Android 18's shoulder. "I didn't destroy Buu for fame... I just want to live peacefully on Earth."

Despite his words, their gratitude remained unshaken.

Especially Son Goku.

He alone had sensed Linze's restraint. Linze could have destroyed Majin Buu long before—yet waited. Only after rescuing Gohan and Piccolo from Buu's absorption did he act. That showed more than power, it showed character.

"Mr. Linze," said Dende, stepping forward with a bright smile, "you've become the planet's savior. People in the lower world want to see you. They want to thank you in person for their rebirth."

Dende referred to the afterlife where souls had felt Linze's energy cleanse the darkness. The entire universe buzzed with awe.

"Thanks in person?" Linze sighed, his voice indifferent. "I don't have time for that. It's meaningless."

He turned to face the sky.

"I'm heading into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. I plan to train intensely. Please make sure no one disturbs me."

In his former life, perhaps he had longed for heroism. But now?

It felt hollow.

His goal had shifted. What mattered now was power enough to stand against an Angel.

Only then could he ensure his survival.

---

"The Time Chamber?" Dende blinked, then nodded seriously. "Of course, Mr. Linze. No one will disturb your training. You have my word."

Just then, Goku approached him with a familiar grin.

"You're really something else," he said. "I'd love to spar with you someday!"

Linze chuckled. "Then you'd better break into the Realm of the Gods first."

His words stunned both Goku and Vegeta.

"The Realm... of the Gods?" Goku repeated. "Wait you mean like... Super Saiyan God?"

He remembered how he couldn't feel Linze's ki during the fight just like when facing Supreme Kai or Beerus. No malice, no energy... just silent, overwhelming presence.

"Exactly," Linze replied. "When I destroyed Buu, I used a power that exists beyond mortal comprehension. What I used was divine not simply stronger, but categorically different."

"Then... that energy... you really are already in the God Realm?" Goku asked, eyes wide.

Linze nodded. "More or less."

But even so, he knew something the others didn't.

Even entering the realm of gods was not enough.

To truly protect the Earth, he needed to reach the level of the Angels beings like Whis, whose powers dwarfed even Beerus.

And that goal was still far ahead.
