Not after everything that had finally begun to make sense, even if that understanding came with more questions than answers.
Sophia sat where she was, her gaze still on Orion, her thoughts not entirely settled, not entirely willing to rest. She expected him to say more, given his… affinity towards the goddess, but then he turned to her.
"You need to get some rest," he said.
She just stared at him like he had grown two heads or perhaps even three.
Orion raised a brow slightly at the look on her face.
"Stop looking at me like that," he added, his tone calm but firm. "You need rest."
Her lips parted slightly.
"We were still talking," she pointed out.
Orion didn't miss a beat.
"And we can continue that discussion later," he replied. "Preferably when the sun is up and you're not running on whatever is left of your energy."
