I, Neko Neko, master of all fluff, supreme observer of chaos, detect the missing presence immediately. The one they call Andrew. My Papa Omega. Gone. Vanished. Evaporated. Stolen. Kidnapped by tiny invisible villains, surely.
Mama Alpha—Tina—walked past the hallway earlier, her silver hair gleaming under the faint sunlight and her icy blue eyes full of worry, sniffing the air for me. She didn't notice the absence. Or perhaps she sensed it… but humans are oblivious like that. Too focused on work, too distracted by the strange buzzing pheromones in the air. Andrew's sweet honey scent is gone.
