Chapter 165 - Senju Hashirama’s Confidence

Seeing the suddenly silent crowd, Hashirama Senju turned his head, winked at Tsunade, and whispered, "Did I say something wrong just now?"

As Hashirama Senju's voice rang out, they naturally came to their senses and respectfully said, "Shodai(1st)-sama, you didn't say anything wrong, it's just that Orochimaru is already dead."

Jiraiya did not mention that Orochimaru was a rogue Ninja, only that he was dead.

"That's truly a pity."

Hashirama Senju frowned, a look of regret on his face.

Then, as if remembering something, Hashirama Senju looked at Jiraiya with a puzzled expression and spoke again, "I still don't know who you are, or that group of people behind you."

Hearing Hashirama Senju's words, Jiraiya remembered that he had only given his name and not introduced his identity.

"Shodai(1st)-sama, I am the disciple of Third Hokage Sarutobi-sensei, and Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze is my disciple."

Jiraiya said respectfully.

Hashirama Senju's eyes lit up; Jiraiya's identity was quite significant.

"The Hokage position has already been passed down to the Fourth Generation? Which one is the Fourth Hokage?"

Hashirama Senju asked Jiraiya with a surprised expression.

"Minato is already dead."

A hint of sadness flashed in Jiraiya's eyes as he replied respectfully.

Boom!

A terrifying killing intent suddenly erupted from Hashirama Senju, and in an instant, the temperature of the entire dimension seemed to drop by a degree or two.

"Dead? Killed by Yūto?"

A cold glint flashed in Hashirama Senju's eyes as he looked at Jiraiya.

Under this terrifying killing intent, everyone present couldn't help but stiffen slightly.

This feeling of being a completely different person once again made everyone realize that this seemingly simple-minded First Hokage was a ruthless individual.

"No, Minato has been dead for many years. Sarutobi-sensei has been managing Konoha during this time."

Jiraiya said nervously, speaking quickly.

As Jiraiya's voice rang out, the killing intent on Hashirama Senju instantly vanished.

Hashirama Senju asked curiously, "How did the Fourth Hokage die?"

Jiraiya respectfully explained the general cause of Minato Namikaze's death to Hashirama Senju.

After listening to Jiraiya's words, Hashirama Senju's face showed a strange expression. After a long while, he slowly sighed, a hint of helplessness flashing in his eyes, "What about the Third Hokage?"

"Sarutobi-sensei died in the war instigated by First Mizukage Yūto…"

Tsunade walked over to Hashirama Senju's side, her voice low as she spoke.

"Instigated war? Tell me all the information you know about Yūto."

Hashirama Senju's face showed a solemn expression.

"Shodai(1st)-sama, I know more about First Mizukage Yūto. I am Danzo, the administrator of Root."

Danzo quickly stepped forward, speaking with a respectful expression.

As if afraid that Hashirama Senju wouldn't understand Root's status, Danzo continued, "Root assists the Hokage in handling special and urgent matters, and is also an Anbu directly under the Hokage, a place specifically for training Anbu Ninja."

A hint of realization flashed in Hashirama Senju's eyes, and he whispered, "Such a department, it seems to be Tobirama's doing."

Tsunade frowned slightly as she watched Danzo approach, but she didn't say anything.

Grandpa had been revived; no matter how many schemes Danzo had, they were useless now.

In terms of status, strength, and prestige, there was simply no comparison.

Danzo saw the look of realization on Hashirama Senju's face, stood up straight, and respectfully recounted all the information he knew about Yūto.

"Uniting the power of the Four Great Shinobi Villages to attack Konoha, this Yūto hasn't changed much from back then."

"I'm afraid after all these years, that guy's ambition hasn't changed at all."

After listening to Danzo's words, Hashirama Senju frowned slightly, his tone carrying a hint of solemnity.

A moment later, Hashirama Senju looked up at everyone, his eyes gleaming, "During this time, I will stay in a dimension and will not appear in Konoha. Also, the news of my revival should be kept secret for now."

"According to my estimation, Yūto will probably make his next move soon."

"Yes, Shodai(1st)-sama!"

Jiraiya, Danzo, and the others quickly replied respectfully.

Seeing this, Hashirama Senju's face returned to its simple-minded expression, and he smiled at everyone, "Thank you all for your trouble during this time."

"Shodai(1st)-sama, do you really have to stay in this dimension?"

Jiraiya was somewhat speechless; normal people couldn't survive in a dimension.

"Just give me the key you have. That key isn't just for determining coordinates."

"Besides, my aura is a bit special. If I appear in Konoha, there's a possibility that Yūto might discover me."

Hashirama Senju said with a casual expression, smiling.

Jiraiya was momentarily stunned and quickly took out the special key, handing it to Hashirama Senju.

Hashirama Senju took the key, and after giving some instructions, he reached out and patted Tsunade's head.

After confirming that Hashirama Senju would temporarily stay in the dimension, Jiraiya and the others all exited the dimension not long after.

Watching the spatial passage slowly close, Hashirama Senju's eyes flickered slightly, his gaze falling on the large scroll still placed at the very center of the dimension.

"Yūto, this time you absolutely have no chance of escaping."

A firm and confident voice echoed in the dimension.

"Before that, it seems I need to visit that place first."

Hashirama Senju stood up, slowly stretched, and formed a hand seal in front of him.

The next moment, with a "bang," Hashirama Senju's figure vanished from the dimension.

Land of Water, Hidden Mist Village.

On a main street, boisterous cries of vendors occasionally drifted by.

Since the attack on Konoha by the Four Great Shinobi Villages ended, Hidden Mist Village had entered its second period of prosperity.

As for the first time, it was naturally due to Gato's contribution.

And this time, it was naturally because Konoha had suffered heavy damage, while the other Three Great Ninja Villages had sustained varying degrees of losses.

Only Hidden Mist Village had not only demonstrated its strength to the entire Ninja World but also suffered the least losses among the Four Great Shinobi Villages.

With such a situation, Hidden Mist Village naturally became the first choice for civilians or wealthy merchants planning to commission missions.

After all, the currently strongest Konoha Village was almost incapable of undertaking missions, and such a large number of commissioned missions would naturally be split among the other Four Great Shinobi Villages.

As the biggest beneficiary of this war, Hidden Mist Village almost took on two-thirds of Konoha's original commissioned missions.

Even some of the commissioned missions from the other Three Great Ninja Villages were attracted to Hidden Mist Village.

On the bustling street, Yūto raised an eyebrow, looking at Haruna who was trailing behind him, and asked curiously, "Where's your sister?"

Haruna giggled and said, "Sister naturally went to train."

"Oh, so you snuck out."

A hint of realization flashed across Yūto's face.

"I didn't sneak out! Haruna walked out fair and square!"

Haruna pouted, her voice filled with dissatisfaction.
