[While the Shinigami captains reflected on the situation from afar, the climactic battle between Ichigo and Ginjo continued to rage.]
[Despite all his psychological warfare and power theft, Ginjo found himself increasingly bewildered by Ichigo's unwavering determination.]
[Ginjo: "I want to completely crush these Shinigami who betrayed me! I'm so determined to humiliate Soul Society—doesn't Kurosaki Ichigo, as my enemy, have any intention of understanding my position?"]
[His skeletal armor gleamed menacingly as confusion clouded his features.]
[Ginjo: "Is he simply trying to defeat me without any consideration for my motivations?"]
[The more I think about it, the more incomprehensible this guy becomes, Ginjo thought with growing frustration. He's determined to fight me, but also doing things I can't understand at all.]
[What disturbed Ginjo most was the way Ichigo looked at him—not with hatred or disgust, but with something approaching empathy. It reminded him of how Ichigo had faced Aizen, trying to understand his enemy's heart through their clashing blades.]
[Ginjo's mood grew increasingly agitated.]
[He's looking at me like he wants to understand me completely. Like he wants to fight alongside someone in my position rather than treating me as an enemy.]
[The realization hit him like a physical blow.]
So after understanding me completely... he'll deny everything I stand for? What kind of person is this Kurosaki Ichigo?
[Unable to bear the weight of that empathetic gaze any longer, Ginjo erupted with fury.]
[Ginjo: "I don't need your sympathy!"]
[He roared as he launched another massive purple Getsuga Tensho directly at Ichigo.]
WHOOOM!
[But Ichigo simply raised his hand, catching the energy attack with his bare palm.]
CRACK!
[The purple crescent shattered like glass in his grip, fragments of spiritual energy dissipating into the air.]
[Before Ginjo could react, Ichigo had closed the distance between them in a single flash step.]
SHING!
[Tensa Zangetsu carved a brilliant arc through the air, striking Ginjo with devastating precision.]
[What followed was not so much a battle as a demonstration. Ichigo moved with fluid grace, each strike calculated and decisive. Despite his Bankai form and stolen powers, Ginjo found himself completely overwhelmed.]
CLASH! BOOM! CRASH!
[Blow after blow rained down on Ginjo, each one pushing him further toward defeat. His skeletal armor began to crack, his stolen spiritual pressure flickering like a dying flame.]
[Finally, with one last devastating strike, Ichigo sent Ginjo crashing to the ground. The monstrous Bankai form dissolved, leaving only a broken man lying in the debris.]
[Ginjo looked up at Ichigo with blood trickling from his mouth, his eyes filled with a mixture of pain and philosophical wonder.]
[Ginjo: "If... if the order had been reversed... would our positions have been swapped too?"]
[He coughed, struggling to get the words out.]
[Ginjo: "If you had lived through my experiences... would you have ended up exactly like me?"]
[It's a question I'll never know the answer to, Ginjo realized with bitter irony.]
[Just as the battle seemed concluded, a figure emerged from the shadows—Tsukishima Shukuro, bloodied but still breathing, raising his sword for one final desperate attack aimed at Ichigo's back.]
[Rukia appeared instantly, moving to intercept the blow.]
[Rukia: "Ichigo!"]
[But suddenly, from within Rukia's body, another figure burst forth—Riruka!]
THUD!
[Tsukishima's blade pierced through Riruka instead of its intended target.]
The chat group exploded with shock:
[Hitsugaya Toshiro: What?! How did Riruka get inside Rukia's body?!]
[Matsumoto Rangiku: Her Fullbring ability! She can enter anything she finds cute!]
[Kuchiki Byakuya: The woman who previously attacked Rukia... now protecting her?]
[As Riruka collapsed, blood spreading across her clothes, she glared furiously at Tsukishima.]
[Riruka: "Tsukishima, you idiot! That's not the kind of blade that cuts through the past—that's a weapon meant for killing!"]
[Tsukishima's eyes were wild with desperation and madness.]
[Tsukishima: "Get out of my way! I won't let Ginjo die! I can't watch him die!"]
[But Riruka's voice cut through his frenzy like a knife.]
[Riruka: "You're the one who needs to wake up! We can't save Ginjo anymore. Yes, Ginjo was the one who saved us originally... but the only person who can save Ginjo now is Kurosaki Ichigo!"]
[Her words triggered a flood of memories in Tsukishima's mind—images of his lonely childhood, of Ginjo appearing like a beacon of hope when he had no one else.]
That's why I care so much about him, Tsukishima realized, tears streaming down his face. That's why I'll do anything to protect him.
[But as he looked at Ginjo's failing form, at Riruka's sacrifice, at Ichigo's determined expression, the truth became undeniable.]
We've lost. There's nothing more we can do.
[Ginjo's breathing grew labored, blood loss taking its toll. His eyes began to lose focus.]
[Ginjo: "Tsukishima... it's okay. We gave it our best shot."]
[Tsukishima crawled to his leader's side, grasping his hand.]
[Tsukishima: "Ginjo... I'm sorry. I couldn't protect you."]
[With a final, peaceful smile, Ginjo Kugo closed his eyes for the last time. Moments later, Tsukishima followed him into the darkness.]
[The remaining Fullbringers—Yukio and the others—slowly deactivated their abilities. Their rebellion was over. They would return to their normal lives, carrying the memories of their fallen comrades.]
[The scene dissolved and reformed, showing Ichigo awakening in Urahara's shop. His Shinigami powers had been fully restored, and his life could finally return to normal.]
[Days later, the projection showed Ichigo arriving in Soul Society, walking through the familiar gates with determined purpose.]
[Meanwhile, in Soul Society's detention facilities, preparations were being made for Ginjo's posthumous punishment. Even in death, the traitor would not be granted peace.]
[But Ichigo had other plans.]
[He strode directly to the First Division barracks, requesting an audience with Captain-Commander Yamamoto.]
[Ichigo: "Captain-Commander, I have a request."]
[Yamamoto looked up from his paperwork, his ancient eyes studying the young Substitute Shinigami.]
[Yamamoto: "Speak, Kurosaki Ichigo."]
[Ichigo's voice was steady but filled with conviction.]
[Ichigo: "I want to take Ginjo Kugo's body. I want to give him a proper burial."]
[The request sent shockwaves through every Shinigami present. Captain Yamamoto's eyes widened with genuine surprise.]
[Yamamoto: "You... wish to honor the man who stole your powers and tried to turn you against Soul Society?"]
The chat group erupted with mixed reactions:
[Soi Fon: What is Kurosaki thinking?! That man was a traitor and a criminal! He deserves whatever punishment Soul Society deems fit!]
[Kuchiki Byakuya: This is... highly irregular. To show mercy to one's enemy is one thing, but to request custody of a criminal's remains...]
[Ukitake Jushiro: Perhaps there is wisdom in Kurosaki-kun's compassion that we cannot immediately see...]
[Kyoraku Shunsui: It's definitely not the kind of request you hear every day. Kid's got guts, I'll give him that.]
[Zaraki Kenpachi: Ha! The kid's got balls, asking for something like that. Takes real strength to show mercy to someone who tried to kill you.]
[Unohana Retsu: Compassion for one's fallen enemies... there is a certain nobility in such an approach.]
[Aizen Sosuke: How fascinating. My specimen continues to exceed expectations. Such mercy toward a defeated foe... it speaks to a strength of character that cannot be taught.]
[Back in the scene, several captains voiced their objections.]
[Soi Fon stepped forward, her expression stern.]
[Soi Fon: "Kurosaki Ichigo, I must advise against this course of action. What Ginjo Kugo did was unforgivable. To show him mercy, even in death, may damage your standing with the Gotei 13."]
[Her voice grew more urgent.]
[Soi Fon: "You're risking the goodwill of everyone who fought to help you! Even if you are a benefactor to Soul Society, we cannot simply overlook the crimes of a man who betrayed everything we stand for!"]
[Other voices joined in agreement.]
[Various Shinigami: "Captain Soi Fon is right!" "Ginjo was the worst kind of criminal!" "He must face proper punishment!" "Even death shouldn't absolve him of his crimes!"]
[One particularly vocal Shinigami called out.]
[Unnamed Shinigami: "And you were his biggest victim, Kurosaki-san! How can you possibly forgive him?! Are you going to be as naive as Captain Aizen claimed?!"]
[The accusation hung heavy in the air. All eyes turned to Ichigo, waiting to see how he would respond to this challenge of his judgment and character.]
[Ichigo stood quietly for a moment, processing their words. Then he looked up, his eyes filled with a quiet strength that surprised everyone present.]
[Ichigo: "Maybe I am naive. But I'd rather be naive and do what I think is right than be cynical and lose sight of what makes us human."]
[His voice grew stronger.]
[Ichigo: "Ginjo made terrible choices, but he was still someone who cared about his friends. In the end, that's something I can understand. And understanding doesn't mean I agree with what he did—it just means I won't let hatred define how I treat his memory."]
[The room fell silent as everyone absorbed the weight of his words.]
