Ryker's relieved joy was suddenly replaced by deep confusion. "What do you mean?" he asked, his brow furrowing again. "How is a Tribrid possible, and how does that make us safe?"
Aiden's mood lifted completely. He smile and he began explaining the progression of his powers and why the more he learned, the more certain he became that he was a hybrid, and not just any hybrid, but a Tribrid.
"Do you remember the history of the witches guidance birds?" Aiden started, pulling Ryker's focus in. "I now have a supernatural guidance bird. That's something only witches have. It's an incredibly rare ability, and more importantly, the witches who have one are almost entirely extinct now. In the entire school, in this entire era, I might be the only one who still possesses one."
He then went on to recount the entire conversation he'd had with Rainbow, the bird, about the nature of his abilities and the implications of being a hybrid and how rainbow had confirmed that he is truly a Tribrid.
