"Admiral Cero, the fact that you actually intend to overthrow the World Government is unbelievable."
Law narrowed his eyes, the dark circles beneath them making his sharp gaze appear even colder as he studied the Admiral's handsome yet sinister face.
"You don't believe me?"
Cero asked with a playful grin.
"No, I do believe you."
Law answered seriously.
"Good."
Cero nodded casually before pointing at the unconscious Saint Charloss hanging over Law's shoulder.
"Carrying that idiot around is annoying. Why don't we dismantle him and turn him into a Gundam?"
"...Gundam?"
Law looked at Cero with visible hesitation.
"Use your ability to split apart his body. Just don't kill him yet, he still has some value alive."
"What exactly are you trying to do?"
Law was genuinely surprised.
"You're really talkative."
Cero clasped his hands behind his head and explained lazily.
"The authority of the Celestial Dragons has always been tied directly to the World Government's control over the seas."
"Ordinary people tolerate the Celestial Dragons because they fear the World Government's power."
"The Celestial Dragons themselves represent the authority of the World Government. To those people above, this system is simply a large-scale obedience test."
"If no one resists a Celestial Dragon, then the citizens of that nation are considered obedient."
"But if someone dares to attack a Celestial Dragon, then that country is immediately labeled dangerous and must be crushed."
Law listened quietly.
"Still, everything has weaknesses."
A wicked smile appeared on Cero's face as he pointed toward Saint Charloss.
"If someone publicly humiliates a Celestial Dragon and destroys their dignity, then the authority of the World Government will naturally crack as well."
"The World Government has never experienced something like that before."
"Hmm... I see."
Law nodded thoughtfully.
Cero's logic made perfect sense.
"So next, we're going to completely destroy the fear these people have toward the World Government by humiliating a Celestial Dragon in front of everyone."
Cero grinned.
"Doesn't that sound interesting?"
"Hmph, it does."
Law smirked with genuine interest.
As one of the leaders of the Worst Generation, Law had never feared attacking a Celestial Dragon.
Back at the Sabaody Archipelago, the only reason he restrained himself was because he did not want to attract an Admiral.
Without that concern, he would have attacked those arrogant nobles long ago.
"ROOM."
Law snapped his fingers lightly.
A circular spatial operating room expanded around them instantly.
He casually tossed Saint Charloss upward, allowing the Celestial Dragon's body to float in mid-air.
"Ugh... ah..."
Unexpectedly, under ROOM's sterile environment and gradual restoration effect, Saint Charloss regained consciousness.
His trembling voice immediately filled with rage.
"Lowly... lowly commoners! Release me at once! What are you trying to do?!"
"What am I trying to do?"
Law's lips curved slightly as his hand rested on Kikoku's hilt.
His voice carried cold mockery.
"Standing before you is a surgeon specializing in the treatment of heartless Celestial Dragons."
"ROOM, Shambles."
Slash! Slash! Slash!
Several sharp flashes filled the air.
By the time the blade vanished, Kikoku had already returned to its sheath.
"Low... lowly..."
Saint Charloss looked downward blankly.
Then...
Puff! Puff! Puff!
His body split apart into dozens of floating pieces, almost identical to the abilities of the Chop Chop Fruit.
Arms, legs, organs, even portions of his brain floated separately in mid-air while remaining connected by Law's power.
The horrifying arrangement resembled a perfectly dissected living specimen.
Seeing his own body reduced to such a miserable state, Saint Charloss screamed in terror.
"Bastards! You filthy commoners deserve death! All of you deserve death!"
The miserable shrieking sounded strangely satisfying to Law.
"Tsk, smaller than I expected."
Cero shook his head in disappointment before lazily walking toward the streets where chaos still continued.
Since they needed the civilians to recognize Saint Charloss as a Celestial Dragon, Law deliberately preserved the iconic Celestial Dragon outfit intact.
"Move aside."
Like someone walking a bizarre kite, Law strolled through the crowded streets while dragging the dismantled Saint Charloss behind him.
The floating body parts followed through the air like pieces of a grotesque mechanical puppet.
The civilians froze in shock.
"W-What is that thing?!"
"My God... that's a Celestial Dragon!"
"Wait... that uniform... isn't that a Marine Admiral?!"
"And the man beside him... that's a pirate!"
The crowd stared helplessly at the absurd scene before them.
Especially the dismantled Celestial Dragon floating in the air.
The sight was simply too outrageous.
"Lowly commoners! Commoners!!!"
Suddenly, the supposedly dead Celestial Dragon snapped his eyes open.
Bloodshot fury filled his gaze as he screamed hysterically at the civilians below.
"What are you staring at?! This Saint will kill all of you! Every last one of you!"
"The corpse spoke?!"
"He's still alive after being cut apart like that?!"
The fleeing civilians stopped completely, staring upward in disbelief.
"It really is a Celestial Dragon..."
A middle-aged man collapsed to his knees in terror.
His voice trembled uncontrollably.
"It's over... we're finished... a World Noble is being butchered and dismembered on this island like livestock. The Marines will never forgive this. A Buster Call is definitely coming! We're all dead!"
Hearing the fear in the crowd, Saint Charloss suddenly laughed arrogantly despite his horrific condition.
"Hahahaha! That's right! You're all dead, you worthless commoners!"
Slap!
A loud slap echoed through the street.
Everyone froze again.
"What are you screaming for? You're giving me a headache."
Cero retracted his hand from Saint Charloss's face and rubbed his ear in annoyance.
"And why are all of you so terrified of a Buster Call?"
"As long as Celestial Dragons are still on this island, the Marines would never dare launch that kind of indiscriminate attack here."
"You...! You actually dared to hit this Saint!"
Saint Charloss trembled with rage, one fragmented finger pointing at Cero.
But the moment he saw Cero's expression, his voice immediately weakened.
Cero glared at him impatiently.
"What are you yelling for? If you really want a Buster Call that badly, I can help make it happen."
As he spoke, a golden den den mushi appeared in Cero's hand.
"..."
Saint Charloss instantly froze.
Cold sweat poured from half of his remaining face.
Only now did he remember.
Cero was still a Marine Admiral.
He genuinely possessed the authority to launch a Buster Call.
"Still shouting? Go on, keep shouting."
Cero narrowed his eyes while his thumb slowly hovered above the golden den den mushi's button.
"How about it, Saint Charloss? Want to personally experience what a Buster Call feels like?"
"D-Don't! Don't do it!!!"
At the threat of death, Saint Charloss finally regained a tiny fragment of intelligence.
"Admiral! You're still young, don't act impulsively!"
"The Buster Call is bad! Very bad! Life is precious! You absolutely must not do something so cruel and foolish!"
"..."
Law stared at the scene with twitching lips.
A Celestial Dragon...
Was actually persuading someone else not to massacre innocent people.
This world had truly become insane.
